Not gonna happen. Everything that has been meta has always had Fly or relied on a Fly enchantment spell to work. Basically it always comes down to any mechanic that ignores the core mechanics of the game, i.e rank-and-flank movement, being meta. I don't see the Mammoth pulling this off. If anything the Mammoth will be another Merwyrm. Remember that model?

PFS and it just being easier to design around toned down effects. I agree that current casters kind of blow ass, but that's more down to a multitude of small factors that build up (like them just blowing intense ass to play until around level 5-7). PF2e is a game designed with "balance" first, and gamefeel second or third. They've definitely been getting better about adding better game feel to classes, just look at the Remastered Classes and the SF2e casters, but it's a very slow process.

I'm looking for a more modern style game, something like ukraine, or afghanistan skirmish with mostly infantry, limited vehicles to mostly troop carriers or the odd tank and almost no air support outside of drone observers and kamikaze bombers. Also possibility to storm into buildings with a team of guys, throw smoke, do all the things (not necessary but would be cool).
Not sci-fi like infinity. I want the possibility of a bradley on the board.

Yeah, there are some absolutely amazing Witch Hunter proxies via AoS, but it's expensive and inefficient if you want them all.

The Hexbane's Hunters box from Underworlds was the best bang-for-buck option, because every model in it fits into a WH warband. I don't know if the kit is OOP now, since Underworlds gangs get rotated out every few years.

Galen and Doralia ven Denst are great models, but insanely priced because they're a character set. They also have really cool alt sculpts that were a limited holiday bullshit fomo release (RIP).

The single coolest nu-Witch Hunter is probably the one from Cursed City. Also not sure if still available.

Then the WarCry Wildercorps Hunters can make pretty good troopers (and come with hounds) but you have to do something about the gay helmets.

Flagellants are the big missing piece if you want all-current plastic. There has been a rumour of them getting redone for Cities of Sigmar but who knows.

I didn't mind when missiles were still expensive, but ever since the WWII pack, they've more-or-less rendered surface ships worthless for their point cost? I haven't seen a single table bring anything except submarines, aircraft carriers, and destroyers in years. Are the devs ever going to make the naval battle component of the game playable again or what?

I blame the lack of change in conventional warfare since '45 on that overpowered 'Nuke' upgrade. Since then, all SERIOUS ground, sea and air strategy has focussed just on the delivery of them, with everything else (ships, planes, armies, etc) reserved for minor skirmishes, police actions and threatening non nuke retards still in the game.Yeah, we are still optimising the convential stuff here and there, but it's still all minor tweaks that are eclipsed by the 'game over' button. Powercreep always ruins every game.

Thank you! Yes they're very nice indeed. Those were the last of 50 quarrelers I painted this summer.

I got 50 spear dwarfs and axe dwarfs from them, already primed, based and sanded. I want to get more (including their metal characters) but I've got so many more dwarfs to paint beforehand
