If your DM just roleplays enemies like dragonquest slimes that won't even try to strategise against you and just let you escape then it's only natural to abuse that, I suppose.

I have to say that the whole concept of a 'respawning child trapped in a sack that you can drain their blood from' is one of the funniest and scariest items.
The worst thing about being human is having to eat (nearly) every day. Most of society is dedicated to this form of conceptual obesity.
