>>97218669If you are talking about Kanan revenges, try to kill your opponent using damage from abilities rather than attacks like Savage's Dark Fury, Ventress' Riposte or Grievous' Trained in your Jedi Arts. Or kill with abilities that give tokens like Jango's Capture Wire.If you are talking about ANH Leia, try to lock her in melee with something like Magnaguards using your out of activation moves from Kraken, Kalani, Dooku or Grievous and pin her so she can't shoot anyone. For Cassian, just roll with it. Or make sure you pin anyone you shove off points. Or time your kills so that his free moves can't really impact board state.
>>97219038Thanks, it's all of them including Han, although in the last game I did manage to lock him down in melee. That's a good tip about Kanan, I didn't realise it was attacks only. I find Asajj and Savage to be rather lackluster but Grievous' AoE has come in surprisingly clutch.I've been rather down on Magnas lately, but I'll give them another go in my next game. They feel so sluggish unless I'm pumping them with out-of-activation moves.
>>97219365Han's revenge works like a worse Leia anyway, so just engage him, disarm him or make sure to kill units from outside his shooting range if possible.I said Magnaguards because their Protection Protocol means they are the easiest low-investment mini to get in melee. You can of course engage Leia (or Han) in melee with a Primary or Secondary to prevent them from using their revenges. Jango comes to mind since he has easy access to pin and a good melee attack/defense. Grievous can also do it in Cunning Warlord stance but he'll have an easier time killing things with Quad Sabers. Aquas work too but can struggle to get pin tokens.Admittedly CIS has an issue of limited options with Magnas and Aquas being their only strong melee Supporting unit.
The vidya is pretty funny in how it portrays classes. In TT, you could never have a light side Sith Assassin. They'd lose their prestige class as soon as they alignment shifted over to the light side.
>>97220915KOTOR 2's NPC alignment is wacky and really should've been more than just light/dark.They have their default alignment, but it shifts towards/away from your PC's alignment based on their influence level. You can get a light side HK just by being his friend (or by being evil and having him hate you). It won't change anything, sadly, but it's fun to mess around with on subsequent playthroughs

>>97220534>Its just my midgoal, I hope things go that way but don't intend to hamfist it.I think it can work pretty well, we have the characters for it. I had some ideas for that as well but I would need to ask the relevant anons to see if it can work.>and have characters with Iron Will no-sell the dark spells. It sounds fun, but going by this and the 5s in both perception and int I made a character that is as immune to it as you can get. Without having a dedicated technique for it that is. So he's more likely to be the one that finds out, at some point. Still a cool subplot.
>>97219557Nobody officially picked it up. We had a brief discussion about planning it in thread and then someone just puts the ideas in a story but that was a bit shortlived. (2e) How do I build a Goblin Monk that BITES?
>>97218759It'd be pretty easy. Take basically any unarmed monk build and sub out a stance for the Razortooth Goblin heritage's bite attack and you're pretty much done. Razortooth bites are d6 finesse by default, with the option of changing them into a d8 non-finesse attack with a level 1 ancestry feat, so it could work with both strength and dex monks. Since you're not using stance attacks, you could grab Ironblood Stance at level 8 if you felt like it, which would give you passive damage resistance while still allowing you to use your bite attacks. Other than that you'd pretty much be a bog-standard monk.
>>97186660Do you have any idea how exhausting it is to build an entire tabletop campaign around locked doors and NPC backstories? The Mario example you gave was just the plot of Jade Regent and that campaign was really good - up until it wasn’t Princess in Another Castle. The ability to feel forward momentum in the party’s travel is so important and this campaign is not about that at all, it’s going to be trying to get the Blue Key while giving a dilation sphere to a ghost that hates xer dad.
