Thoughts on the BP Epic Waterloo stuff? I had never payed much mind to it because Waterloo is not a campaign that I'm that interested, but a bunch of guys at the club have been playing it and I found a couple of second hand starter sets for very cheap. I'm seriously tempted to get the Prussian starter and join them. They also play with the ACW stuff.Btw the new captcha is fucking stupid.
I feel like this edition has alot of objectively bad things about it and is absolutely where the alot of worst qualities of current editions showed up. But I feel like I prefer playing this edition compared to a lot of previous editions and 10th edition. Its a weird transitional period where there's still a lot of the old units that haven't been legended yet while still having the fucking Primaris lot. Its strange but I don't feel like I'm missing out on much staying on this edition and playing with friends casually instead of going back to playing the current edition.

The only major downsides for them are that they go in fairly exclusive slots, are quite vulnerable to anti-tank guns and can't score well with an embedded Magos since they're Vanguard, but they do actually have a good chance of scoring Vanguard with their guns.They can't go in transports, since they're Cybernetica and don't have the rule the Scyllax and Echidnax have that lets you fold them up and put them in vehicles. They're also just huge models, it would be a little silly if they could fit in anything but specialist transports.
