yes
>Nameless Inversion only covers you for one of the types.
correct, but you can't just cast 0 mana entomb on all 4 types, the deck needs to be built with a good distribution of each of the 4 types and a card with changeling makes things a lot smoother, specially when it's easy to get it in the graveyard without milling it

The Last Church was a cool little vignette, but I don't think Emps really fits inside a Christian eschatology.
What that story represented was something far worse for a Christian than the fulfilment of Revelations.
He represents the obsolescence of religion.
But bear in mind, The Emperor is a liar.
He knew the Chaos Gods were real.

Yeah, quite frankly, feel like neither of you guys will be satisfied. It just makes more sense to start a new campaign in 2e/Savage PF than try to retrofit your old one. Hell, I'm unsure if the GM would be happy with 2e given how much more magic item focused the game is (on top of the admittedly lame design of them...).

>>97352941
I think this is a very fair rebuttal to the hypocrisy argument against PF2e. 5e players are really, really adamant of adding more and more bloat to 5e as they view it more like a Bethesda game, a skeleton for their own vision. PF2e players view the system as a game first, a game that needs adjustments than some massive overhaul mod. People aren't (or shouldn't be) against homebrewing or changing things about PF2e (if more hesitant thanks to how much you can ruin your own experience), they just know they don't need to completely upheave everything to make it fun.
>>
>>97357503
people ARE against homebrewing pf2 in any way and you are NOT at a risk of ruining your experience by doing it
>>
>>97357776
People also homebrew 5e eagerly and readily ruin their experience doing so. It depends on the homebrew, on the goal, on the persons.

Lancer would take some heavy homebrewing to use for that purpose, and I don't think anyone has done that homebrewing for you already. Making the mechs less customizable is easy enough, just set limits for the players. The hard part is the tech level and the nature of the License system, which means you'd need to throw out 100+ pages from the book, then write up your own replacements.
Maybe that is within your effort level, but if I was wanting to run Actual Gundam as opposed to something Gundam-inspired, I'd use Jovian Chronicles (very clearly inspired by UC Gundam) or Mekton Z (see >>97353643).

i like the two system combo of lancer+5th age.

its not going to satisfy the hardcore mecha connisuer, but the familiarity and similarity those systems have to dnd 5th edition means fucking everyone on planet earth knows how to play it more or less and its incredibly easy to onboard new players with very little instruction, and both are quite light on the beancounting and minutia that can sometimes grind mech games to a screeching halt like ammo tracking, part damage, lock systems, overly complex heat, power and radiator management, financial expenses for repairs, and so on. all of those things are fantastic if you have a dyed in the wool group of mech enthusiasts, but i've found such groups to be basically non existent outside of dedicated discords.

lancers mechs are generic enough that they could more or less be stapled onto any setting with zero effort, and its combat system plays lightning fast for a mech game, while still being somewhat customizable, but its out of mech roleplay and combat rules are quite bare bones, so i like stapling on 5th age or a similar dnd 5e scifi adaptation for the out of mech combat and roleplay because it offers that side of the game just a bit more meat on its bones while also being very familiar to most players.

i've run several groups like that over the last few years and its worked out pretty well each time.
>>
I've given up. I wanted to only use d6 for my system, but I like the idea of using degrading step dice to track a reactor's power output/fuel way too much. It works so well too, instead of having another d6 pool you have one die and if you roll a 1 or 2 on power use the die degrades.

>the exaltations already carry memories and personality traits
I think the Exaltations have preferences for their users, but that might just be a meta thing.
Dace, former incarnation was a general-warrior
Panther, weakest link, both preacher types?
Arianna, both crazy bitchy savants
Jade, both sneaky types, another weak link
Swan, both sweet talking diplomats, though Desus seems to be more of a warrior than diplomat and a gigantic asshole
>>
>>97354754
To be fair, the Exalted Host caused what was objectively a mass extinction event to every nonhuman race in Creation, and irrevocably mutilated, degraded and imprisoned their own creators in ways more profoundly violating than rape. Kind of easy to see the argument the Exalted were a net negative for all of existence and deserve every bad thing ever if you take the long view. Then proceeded to leave allies like the Dragon-Kings out to dry with their shrivelled up souls despite allegedly being capable of all manner of miracles (and this one didn’t cover time travel or resurrection), while their employers mainly used their victory to hog the Cosmic Xbox and backstab each other for promotions, making reality function objectively worse for everyone else living in Creation. Not to mention create the Elementals as functionally second class citizens.

The main argument for the Exalted being heroes is an anthropocentric one. Forget the Lintha, ask the Jadeborn, Peligals or random Behemoths wandering around Creation until Desus decided to smash them in the eye and the Exalted are fucking menaces who summoned and enslaved their conquered foes for shits + giggles.
>>
>>97356903
>then Exaltation would be less of a cool powerup and more of a creepy form of semi-possession
I could see that the Celestial Exaltations themselves as a creepy kind of possession, being an artificial soul that latches onto somebody unwillingly and stays with them until death, but it doesn't really have a purpose beyond possession
A neat alternate setting might be one where the Exaltations are actively malicious in some way, eternally trying to stir up conflict and "The Great Curse" is them trying to amuse themselves

The ability to rake in money with sequels is in fact the definition of staying power. You're just an autistic nerd that thinks neverending discussion artificially propped up by regular offerings of slop is the height of a franchise's cultural impact.

Curse of the Black Pearl is the only PotC movie that isn't atrocious btw, that's not an uncommon opinion, and One Piece is as much a part of the pirate "surge" if not more.

I'm praying for Boy Toy. I live vicariously through your family, I don't want anything bad to happen to any of you.
>>
>>97357753
Me and Assoluta are trying to console both Blue Fairy and Scarlet, we had a little debriefing.

The first stake in Boy Toy's chest was wrongly positioned, it was under the aortic arch, that is the reason he was still able to move his eyes before the second stake was inserted.
In other words, there was a moment Boy Toy was perfectly free to move, but he was using the entirety of what force of will was left in him to stop himself from hurting her.
Only Boy Toy had stopped Boy Toy in that moment, not Blue Fairy, not the first stake.

Mamma Venus slapped Blue Fairy as soon as she carried Boy Toy inside, because she had immediately noticed this mistake, a mistake that could have costed the unlives of my girlfriend, Boy Toy's and many more unlives and lives, and Caine knows how many Masquerade violations in the process, not to mention the effort required to clean up that mess and restore her lost face in front of one or more Princes.

Blue Fairy hesitated and failed her elder brother in such an emergency. And what if she hadn't noticed those eye movements?

She's shocked. Mamma had never, ever hit her since the embrace. Not even once.

And to be perfectly honest, nobody in this house even knows the effects of an abomination's vitae, and this is assuming Diablerie didn't happen. Not even our guest Man of Florida, who is looking at our philosopher-operator with great concern.

Yeah, exploring the local underworld of our town was a big focus in the Geist game I played in. The "surface layer" was a series of mazelike caves that mirrored the local geology, though with hints of the nature of the region scattered throughout. It opened up into a region full of underground rivers, each of which had a ferryman and a very negative effect for going into the water itself (the one we traversed held a reflection of your deepest desire, and presumably drinking from it or worse, diving in would result in becoming lost to the illusion).

My favorite feature of this main region, which resembled a bright yet sunless scorching desert, were its inhabitants. Ghosts were a mixture of Native Americans, Mexicans, and American settlers for the most part (game took place in New Mexico), and each was decorated according to that culture's idea of the dead: Natives in various stages of mutilation based on how they died, Mexicans in full sugar-skull regalia, and Americans just slightly ethereal. They all hung out in a big saloon/church, waiting for or putting off their next journey. They were pretty friendly, and warned us about threats like Reapers.

We never ventured past this region, but we did once reach the border of a more blasted wasteland where a Kerberos called The Buzzard waited for travelers to expire before picking their souls clean.

Forgive my lack of correct terminology, I know many of these things (like the rivers) have proper names but I remember few of them.

You're the moralfagging retard, not me. Moral weakness (which I have not brought up even once) is a subcategory of weakness, not the other way around.
Re-read my posts without assuming that I'm a moralfag like yourself until you understand this.

You have received sufficient information, and you are presumably running this through some AI, assuming you aren't one, since you spit out vacuous quantities of monoculture moralizing without being able to grasp the point. No more (yous).

Holy fucking shit battlefronts germany dickriding is next level. Early war is already an unbalanced piece of shit.

>Germans are hit on 4+ and 3+ skill level
>British and French are hit on 3+ and 4+ skill level

The heaviest tanks in early war are the renault at 6 front armor for 10 points each or the matilda ii at 7 front armor for 17 fucking points each.

Meanwhile germany can field 88s as usual with 14 Anti tank and range 40" for 5 fucking points each. Its literally just going to be people spamming 88s because they kill anything they hit and its 8 shots across the board for cheaper than 2 heavy tanks.
>>
>>97357922
Did Germany even use 88's as Anti-Tank guns before Barbarossa?
>>
>>97358183
They used them as direct-fire guns during Fall Gelb - at the crossing of the Meuse at Sedan, XIX Korps suppressed the French fortified positions and bunkers with accurate long-range direct fire.
