I think bandits, slaves and the dispossessed would be likely allies for Solars. Starting a slave rebellion, taking your guys to the mountaineous inland and working from there might be a reasonable start for a Blessed Isle Solar campaign.
>>
>>97267697
You're still trying to be rational about something emotional. We just aren't going to agree.
>>
>>97267769
No, anon. I'm suggesting that you try to consider the context of a Realm peasant's life and the ways that context shapes his viewpoint. It's not an argument about or depending on rationality.
>>
>>97267806
"I've been taught to interpret X as Y, so I will in the face of something incredible" is an argument to rationality. It's okay, we can disagree about this but I think like you're giving them way too much credit.
>>
>>97267828
Nah, kneejerk emotional reactions based on learned associations most definitely aren't about rstionality, and neither sre the contextual factors that'd make a Solar's powers merely impressive - and scary - rather than incredible. I mean, to consider something other than Solars, walking on water wouldn't be all that miraculous either in a world where some people, even if not all that many people, are known to just be able to do that, you know?

Gun to your head, you can only put 5 humanoid/demihuman races in your setting. After those five, you’re done. You chose humans, elves, dwarves, halflings, and ents? No gobbos and orcs for you.

What are you choosing?

I have a setting like this that we’ve played two conponents in. the premise is that all the different playable species are different subspecies descended from australopithecus that either have a traditional human quality scaled up, scaled down, or reversed completely. The Players usually end up picking the “human, if it evolved to be a solitary predator” species or the “human, if it evolved to be solely a carnivorous persistence pack-hunter”

Yes I've never seen a human who has human traits or looks similar to a human.

What is the correct way to handle female priestess? Historically women weren't part of the clergy, so you don't have a lot of references to drawn from in regards to their attitude.

Half of the nuns are naughty noble women who the family was embarrassed for and wanted to get rid of them, the other half are former street urchin criminals.

>>97267317

In 17th-century Italy, for example, it is estimated that 50% to 75% of noblewomen in some cities were sent to convents because their families could not afford multiple dowries for prestigious marriages. These women weren't "discarded" because of crime, but because they were "surplus" daughters.

For former criminals you have the Inmates (The "Magdalenes"): Institutions like Magdalene Laundries or "Penitentiaries." These were run by nuns, but the women inside were not nuns themselves. Proportion of Marginalized Women: In these specific institutions, 100% of the residents were typically marginalized. They were often categorized as "fallen women," which included:

"Discarded" Women: Unmarried mothers or those who had "shamed" their families.

Street Urchins/Orphans: Young girls who had no family to support them and were seen as "at risk" of moral decay.

Former Criminals: Women who had been convicted of petty theft or prostitution and were sent to the convent for "reform" instead of (or after) prison.

These women were often called "penitents" or "children," and while they lived a life of prayer and work similar to nuns, they were effectively unpaid laborers. They were not permitted to join the religious order.

RIFTS! The science fantasy world of post-apoc cyborgs, wizards, dragons, ninjas, giant mecha, super-nazis, robot ninjas, vampires, underwater kingdoms, remnant human supertech civilizations and everything you can imagine all rolled into one setting where interdimensional RIFTS have pierced Earth's fabric and turned it into a playground for aliens and monsters!

This is different than the regular osrg as due to rampant trolling from a handful of bad actors, discussion is impossible.

But that's not happens. You don't roll for the type of damage. When you're healed from 0 hit points, you look up what weapon did damage to you, then you roll on the severity table. That's it. It's one roll.

I'm going to in an upcoming campaign. I feel like swarm attacks are a bit of a pipe dream due to taking three entire turns to pull off if you're not using hidden unit rules.
>>
>>97267492
They only take two. You spend one turn attaching, then start inflicting damage next turn.

I've never used battle armor. Plenty of conventional infantry.

You also have to spend one getting them into range unless the enemy is particularly braindead.

aircraft reserves share zero things with reserves. They can come in even on turn 1. They aren't deepstriking so they allow charges. But +1 to reserves roll does not give +1 to aircraft coming in. The rules specify it must say +1 to aircraft roll to ever buff it, anything only for Reserves does nothing for aircraft.

The ultramarines flagger ventris is pretty much the only aircraft buffer because he has an exclusion "+1 to reserves tests (including those made for Aerial Reserves)" which no other characters get.
>>
>>97267584
though I guess every loyalist army in-game could ally in Ventris standing in a corner by himself all game being air traffic control waving his flag. I wouldn't do it for dreadclaw because it's relatively slow and fragile and no meaningful shooting, but if I bring Caestus in it has AV13, more wounds and a big Magna-melta Cannon (S9 armourbane Dmg8 when within melta range) so it'd be useful to get the bonus so it both does an air drop and gets to melta kill like 2 tanks.

Ah, yah I think that might be it, though I was also trying to edge highlight along a few of the edges as well like on the knee plates. And yes,its all the same color, I just added white to the base ofmacragge blue. Maybe that makes it too pale/sudtle. What other kind of blue you think would pop out more? though desu, I do like the sudtlyty.

yes, testing painting on the starter minis before going on to these guys (Which I will do as dark angels). Ive mostly painted smaller miniatures before, true 28mm humans and 15mm. so I havent really got into the more advanced stuff passed base coating and adding a wash. so trying to experiment with "light" now that I feel decent about the "shadows" implied by washes.

Ignoring Hudie (which doesn't do anything Green-flavoured because nobody runs Kabuterimon), Green. Extremely tough to rely on battle gimmicks and soft control when every other deck can hide in raising and/or get effect immunity and/or protection and/or incidentally remove every small body you spit out.
Also feels like more pre-Liberator Green decks have been treated worse than any other colour. Laughably bad Rapid and Cherubi support, only a handful of plants and insects (mostly for other archetypes), essentially nothing for Leomon, JP getting colour swapped so the one fun Hybrid deck would stay dead.

Can't even be happy about the Tyrannomon support because they gave it a pointless red Koromon and locked it out of consistency options until it gets them in the literal last wave of dual memory boosts

>>
>>97267274
future support for anything feels dire
its just an endless stream of new trait keyword decks that get 2 waves of support at best then never get touched again so they can make a new trait to push for 2 waves
>>
>>97267473
To be fair the CS cards also act as support for their own respective established archetypes so you can use them outside of a rainbow deck. The TS trait is being used to make general support for new archetypes rather than all of them being intended to be smooshed together, the demon type Titans cards also support the old Titamon archetype too
>>
>>97267647
>To be fair the CS cards also act as support for their own respective established archetypes
Some of them, others like the starters definitely not.

>The TS trait is being used to make general support for new archetypes rather than all of them being intended to be smooshed together
Kind of. Aegiomon overlaps pretty comfortably with both of Abyss Sanctuary and Central Town on account of being Yellow and the "dedicated" Aegiomon deck, as much as it exists right now, can splash other TS Olympos XII pretty freely with how his effects are set up.
