They haven't made a PDF for this. Something about licencing. It's taken them three years to finally release it and mine hasn't even arrived.
Three years with barely any communication.

Stop getting upset over chess games. It spikes your cortisol.
Gemini explains:
>Spiked cortisol, often called "cortisol face," causes physical changes like a rounder, puffier face (moon face), weight gain in the abdomen, and a buffalo hump (fat pad behind the neck) due to fluid retention and fat redistribution, plus skin issues like acne, thinning skin, stretch marks, slower healing, and premature aging, all from excess stress hormone affecting metabolism and skin health.

If your opponent did something stupid, it’s their own loss for being stupid. Stoicmax. Cortisolmin.

Why the FUCK is his power armor broken? The Badab War was 100 years ago. This dude leads a legion-sized band of space marine pirates and is one of the wealthiest and most powerful space marine lords in the setting, on par with chapter masters of the first founding chapters.

WHY THE FUCK WOULD SOMEONE NOT HAVE FIXED HIS POWER ARMOR. Does GW even know their own fucking setting anymore?

The covid inflated bubble finally popped i guess. Playing ttrpgs online is fucking ass and even the fad motivated people caught up, on top of that the casual approach doesn't work in the long run with something inherently social as ttrpgs, for example randos online just ghost games at a whim because they have no attachment whatsoever with the groups they join.
P&P is the only way, vtt are only complementary to that.

Hey, folks. Got a weird one for ya.
I've fallen heavily into the BFG rabbithole and I want models. Unfortunately I'm broke as living shit. I have therefore resolved to try to make spaceships via papercraft.
Does anyone have any convenient resources that would help me accomplish this, or am I boned?

If you go to the official site for Warp Rift and root around, you'll find a "BFG starter kit". There's a google Drive involved, and there are a bunch of papercraft with varying levels of detail in there.

Yeah, but that would take effort.
It's better and easier to just put a sticky note on the table that says "gm decides everything" and tell people to find a new group if they don't like it.
That way you can focus on the stories and worldbuilding a lot more.

First of all, thank you to everyone that replied. Secondly, I’d like to ask for any suggestions for interesting ME terrain I could build. I’m working on houses and a water tower at the moment, and plan on making a Saddam-esque statue as well as a ruined temple, but what else could I make? Specifically I’m looking for something that can fill a gameplay niche. For example, the water tower acts as 360 elevated terrain for a sniper, the temple works as a place for scattered terrain, and the houses act as two story/cqb/hard cover. I want to make an apartment/skyscrapper, but I’d like to things 1930’s or earlier and I’m not sure how common or what styles of those things existed in the region at that period.

Minarets are an obvious tallpoint. If you want to see what period exteriors looked like, watch Casablanca, Lawrence of Arabia and movies like that. It seems like a *lot* of it was just whitewashed two-story mud-brick houses though, so.

I like it personally and making a map with a few papercraft objects and character stands is much easier done than figures. It's a lot more delicate though and if one of your players is a IRL Ogre with meat-clamps for hands you won't play long with your stuff.
>>97263756
Wooden or paper wouldn't be much difference in "sustainability" since a few sheets of paper can yield a lot of objects but wood figurines are much more durable.
That being said, proper woodwork is an art in itself and you are probably hard pressed to find people able to craft something half-decent as a figurine. I'm not half bad at diy projects and love working with wood for desks, couches cabinets etc but making a beautiful sculpt is really difficult and takes a lot of time.

Wing of Glory is pretty simplified and you need specific sets of cards for each aircraft. Expensive and limited options with aircraft. It is a "programming" game, where each player plays 3 cards with movement arrows on them, then players reveal 1 card at a time simultaneously, and their aircraft makes the move.

Blood Red Skies is also quite simplified, there is no altitude or speed, aircraft are either 'advantaged' 'disadvantaged' or 'neutral', and the flight stand tilts the aircraft forward or backward to represent this.

If you want something that actually has altitude and speed taken into account, and has pretty much every WW2 aircraft (including bombers, ground attack, night fighters) - Lacquered Coffins might be the way to go. It tracks speed and altitude with 2 dice on the base of an aircraft, and is dead simple to play, no custom cards or flight stands required.

Also how that fuck are people posting with these new Captcha's....
>>

I love the new captcha and have been able to solve them 10x faster than any of the previous version for the last decade. I find it hilarious when I see people complaining about them, because they are just very simple patterns and puzzles. Admitting you find them hard is outting yourself for having a low IQ. IQ of course being traditionally tested by measuring your ability to solve shape puzzles and patterns

Doesn't look too bad, pretty nice camo for your first minis. Remember the camera sees a lot more than anyone would in real life.
I wouldn't bother with the individual fingers like you did on the 2nd guy, looks kinda weird, just make it all skintone. You can do a highlight on the knuckles if you really want to. The 2nd guy's gun could do with a bit more brown maybe, it blends in with the uniform a lot.
Don't forget to paint the figure bases. You got some splotches on there which is normal. Put a thin coat of some dark colour, green or grey, over to cover this and tie the squad together.

Mork Borg is a fractal masterpiece where every mechanic is a seed for infinite diegetic complexity, it's rules dense in a way that implies entire subsystems most people simply lack the processing power to unpack. a single agility test here contains more ludonarrative gravity than an entire Player's Handbook of feats and subclasses combined because the system doesn't need to explain the world - it mathematically enforces it.

in 100 years, when every other system is just dust in the landfill of forgotten mediocrity, Mork Borg will be the only thing left standing, studied by future civilizations as the Rosetta Stone of pure ludology.
