Since Fulgrim is now the first Primarch to not win mini of the year (except when competing against another Primarch), how should GW fix the obviously botched EC release?

It’s just interesting that not even the Primarch bonus could get people to really care for EC, he barely beat out a Raven Guard character for 2nd.

I think his HH model is better. His face is too ugly when he's supposed to be described as a beautiful but in an unnerving way and I think the HH one captures that more.

Ice cool also is excellent for adults with a beverage in hand. Honestly the best flicking game I've played. Not that I tried a huge number of them, but I kept finding """heavier""" flicking games disappointingly mediocre, too little actual crunch and gaminess, too little fun with the actual flicking. Ice cool is just good clean fun for everyone and doesn't overstay its welcome

The rooms are all slightly different sizes because they nest into each other in the box. In biggest room is the bottom of the box itself. The lid of the box is not used however.

Oh, shut the fuck up, you sniveling, limp-wristed, mealy-mouthed faggot. The only thing that counts as games to permanently finger-crooked cyptoredditors like you is a dice statistics chart.

Im out of my depth here

TL;DR Im trying to learn how to run a setting I have no experience with. Looking for setting influence.

-

I would like some help with this concept, post apocalyptic science fantasy. The idea that the world was propelled forward by magic tremendously, but then cataclysmic events reset civilization, and now were living in the post era.

Im used to running Sci-Fi, Cyberpunk, Shadowrun, Lancer, but this new group has requested me to run fantasy for them.

I agreed, but I told them I wanted to draw from influences that im familiar with, the closest comparison I can think of is the Televison Show Adventure Time where there was technology and then a fall, and now we have magic and some science tech. Disparate cities and no main governing body.

-

So, im looking to add to my influence, are there any pre existing settings ? Are there any fun things you've ever wanted to do along these lines ?

I hope that is clear, and also serves as an example of wizards taking excess precaution for no reason. it's a difficult game to run. I am glad I know a guy who can hold most of a century of european history and politics in his head to the level of granularity required to run a long-term campaign, adapting what happens in response to both the setting's own magical bullshit and the multiple player groups going at the same time in his campaigns.

It's hard not to fall in love with it despite and sometimes because of its jank.
There are two kinds of roll - normal and stress. Stress means the situation is unpredictable, like a fight. With a stress roll, the fairly high rate of *checking* for a critical success or failure means that you get swingy moments where all the planning in the world can't help you... or where you survive against impossible odds because you lucked out or the other guy botched.
In a lot of games, I would hate having a 1/10 chance for an important roll to botch (or crit) but in Ars, you take it in your stride. It helps that not every botch botches and not every crit crits.

>roll a 1 on d10
>ok roll again and double the die result, treating 0 as 10
>this means that a potential "crit" could be a 1 followed by a 2-5, resulting in a die roll within the normal d10 results range
>rolling another 1 means you roll again and double double it. But even then, a 1-1-2 means you just got the casino hype moment and then rolled an 8 where you could've rolled a 40

>roll a 0 on d10
>If you don't botch, you just rolled a zero (plus stat and skill and mods)
>But first, check for botch. Ask the GM "how many" and roll that many d10. Each one that shows a 0 is a degree of botchitude

Trench Raiding With The Lads Edition

>What is Trench Crusade?
An alternate weird history 28mm/32mm tabletop skirmish game still in a pre-release playtesting phase but with the full release slated for this year. Based on the art and lore of Mike Franchina, whose illustrations you may have seen floating around on /tg/ for a several years now, and designed by Tuomas Pirinen, one of the original creators of Mordheim. It's grimdark, it's visceral, it's awesome, and it's very Blanchitsu.

>What Trench Crusade is not
TC not an excuse for you to discuss IRL religion, history that didn't occur in the game, culture war shit, or discord bullshit on /tg/. Keep it on topic.

>What's the QRD on the background?
The Knights Templar turned heretic and opened the Gates of Hell when they took Jerusalem during the First Crusade. Over 800 years later the war is still ongoing as technology has developed to a pseudo diesel-punk WW1 standard and a third of Humanity has sided with the Infernal Princes.

>How do I get started?

I wouldnt mind if there was some levity, it does seem to be a bit too grim. I hope as books/games come out and people explore characters it will be different but right now its missing the grim humor that keeps people in WH. Maybe not something as extreme as the Orks which are 99% jokey, but some trench humor would be nice.

Pure Breed only occurs within tribal boundaries. While a descendant of a hero of any tribe is deserving of respect, Shadow Lords aren't going to go out of their way to preserve the Pure Breed bloodline of another tribe, and if any tribe would water down another tribe's Pure Breed bloodline for an advantage, especially the Silver Fang's, it would be the Shadow Lords.
>>
>>97260791
Wow, Shadow Lords really cannot go 5 seconds without being subversive.
>>
>>97261054
I thought Pure Breed was a kind of universal thing the way the book wrote about it? If that isn't the case, yeah I suppose they would. It would still be the case that a Silver Fang could never really (by genetics) produce a child without some Pure Breed.
>>
>>97261058
Except for the ones who aren't. They're home to the Judges of Doom, the giga-philodox camp who go full Judge Dredd on litany breakers. So even the subversive scoundrel Shadow Lords need to stick to the litany with their subversion, or face being judged and executed by their own tribesmen.
>>
>>97261108
Well, the Litany has maybe 4 real tenants, and while making Metis is breaking the Litany it's also hard to prove since I imagine Garou don't believe in paternity tests.

Either because those formats are in a solved state or populated by people that went to them explicitly because they're easier than the current format, while the current format is volatile and Master Duel is populated by people that constantly interact with it.

>>97260696
The formats I frequent are not solved. The main one I play is 1103, in that format there is a total of 8 decks that can be seen as the meta, all of them pretty powerful but there is no clear deck that can be considered better than the others. Deckbuilding still have room for development.

Is YGO still the second most popular TCG in Japan (behind Pokemon)?

>Halflings to do the farming
>Dwarves to do the smithing and mining
>Gnomes to do the researching
>Elves to do magic
>Humans to do the fighting (and thus, the ruling)
This seems the obvious perfect order to things. Humans don't want to be the peasant farmers, we want to be the knights and lords, but somebody has to farm, somebody has to smith, etc. Why not have the other races do the menial peasant stuff that they specialize in anyways?

Well, the idea is for a mixed population area as I understand it. That means self-governed ethno-groups would probably overlap geographically, which sounds like even more of a potential problem. I don't think OPs premise is terrible if you assume it's either find a system that works for a mixed population in the same kingdom, or there will be conflict for sure.

Rate my patchwork. Just wanted to reconcile Warhammer FB with Dragon Age and some cool Northern settings (Symbaroum, Skyrim, etc.). This is a map of the first version, now I changed it to more traditional Eurasian view (because it is basically two Europes symmetrically mirrored in the first version): Ferelden went to Skyrim, Orlais and Free Marches went to Italy and Spain, Tevinter, Anderfels and Nevarra went to North Africa.

The idea is borrowed from Symbaroum: there was an ancient mighty empire of humans with epic architecture (Elden Ring, Dark Souls), which built three extended laboratory/research areas (yellow dots), then those areas were contaminated, the empire fell, rest of its people migrated to "Tevinter Imperium", and after that elves from "Ulthuan" seized the research areas to restrict access to them and to results of experiments. Then new semi-barbarian people migrated from "Westeros" and created current civilizations.

Which "grounded" settings also fit to this picture?
>>
>>97255551
