>>97250703Even ignoring that they obviously do it to fudge results from player and production side, having no dice cams at this level of production is just stupid, because it adds a lot of excitement to the viewing experience when you can actually see the dice fall instead of having to wait until anyone says the result afterwards.

>>97272829I mean, you'd need to do a lot of mental gymnastics to claim that stopping the Wyrm from destroying the world and defiling the human spirit isn't an objectively righteous cause, even if the Garou frequently fuck it up, and the idea that most Kinfolk are chained in the rape dungeon and do nothing but wait for their nightly raping by the next Garou in line for a turn is silly. Most of a Kinfolk's life involves making themselves useful to the Garou and the cause in other ways and while it can be thankless and sometimes abuse is involved, there's still the family bond and the whole literally-saving-the-world motivation.I'd still take infrequent rough sex of dubious consent with a monster over the ego-killing mind-rape of the blood bond.
if demons inherit some of their vessel's personality, does this extend to the vessel's fetishes? If, say, a demon of House Namaru ended up in the body of a submissive femboy, would the "righteous leader and herald of god" personality overpower the desire to be plowed harder than farm soil in spring? This is very important, I need my erotic Demon: the Fallen fan fiction to be accurate.
>>97272880Though I agree a Kinfolk has it better overall, I'd still think for the most part a ghoul has it better in some ways. Even Blood-bonded ghouls still have families and often have jobs or hobbies, though it all takes a backseat to their master they still have to maintain the masquerade unless they get unlucky with a retarded vamp. Half of the time Kinfolk seem to be lucky to see their children, though conversely often enough Kinfolk don't actually need to interact with Garou at all if they're lucky. At the same time, most septs let you leave as a Kinfolk if you marry out of the nation unless you're unlucky to get one with population issues or Garou-brained conservative values.Despite that, I'd say Revenant families > Kinfolk if you're willing to deal with being a Tzimisce's eventual butler/childe or a strict upbringing.

The forms of slavery around the world include:Caliphate Chattel Slavery: slaves to the Muslims have in three varieties if they're male. The first two are laborer and harem guard who have bits and pieces taken from them. The third are what they call 'bucks,' those Veldtsmen who were peculiar and kept being taken away to the breaking barn. Female slaves generally get two: servant and concubine. Both are at the mercy of their masters. Bogar serfdom: Bogar society is centered around the serfs. They feed the lay nobility. Serfs are tied to the lands of the elector counts so they can't leave their master's estate. Serfs toil the fields and are forbidden from knowing how to read and write. Generally the most educated person in the village is the lore keeper. Dwarven peons: debtors locked into peonage due to debts owed to one Dwarf or another. These are interesting ones as crimes have debt driven punishments so it's not uncommon for convicts to be sold into peonage. Many of the surface settlements are literal prison colonies with semi-autonomous prisoners allowed limited interaction with surface dwellers. >>97272270>>97271599Every day someone hears in the Royal Palace, "cmon MASSA! This buck ain't gon' break itself!" Just downright peculiar.
The Kingdom of Sergos is the land of olive skinned women and fine wine. The Sergio are people renowned for their duels and mercenary-like nature in which they follow strict honor-based codes of conduct when it comes to taking jobs, feuds over mercantile affairs are common and very bloody. In fact, Sergio clans are infamous for holding grudges over the course of centuries. Oh yes, Sergio families are so large they're more akin to clans with so each son, each daughter, having so many cousins it's like they know an entire village growing up.This is a consequence of the Muslim invasions. As more and more people were taken to the slave ships, the survivors retreated into hill towns fortified from attacking saracens. As the tide of years moved the people intermarried and became larger and larger until entire communities were related by marriage or even blood. As a result, these clans have to often search outside the settlement to avoid inbreeding. That's not to say the word 'Family' is out of their vocabulary. The Kingdom is secretly run by the Old Families: five particularly large noble clans who all rose from banditry. The King is largely a stooge propped up to maintain important trade agreements with Bogarus, which the Bogars use as an extra vote on their behalf in the League. The greatest contributions the Sergio have made to the world centers around criminal enterprises. These guys have it all: swords, crossbows, poison, men, women, you name it. Eh. So long as you pay your protection fees on time and keep your mouth shut, you'll be ok.
The Maze Towns of the Deridians are known for sitting alongside the cliffs of their Mediterranean mountains. Olive skinned and tanned, the Deridians are extremely religious with their center centering around the Metropolitan whose Exarch has a vote in the League. The Deridians used to be fishermen until the Muslims came and took their women in times untold. Now they're primarily artisans, making toys and fine goods for the greater kingdoms. The Metropolitan is the most fanatical member of the League. The Exarch demands a Crusade on the Caliphate who have wrought so much horror through the years. He's supported by the Bogars who see the rotting Empire as an opportunity and the Outremer who want to expand their own holdings. The Brotherhood of the Holy Spelchure is also beside him, the Deridian holy order that fought off the Muslims more than once. They really despise the pirates for their shit too. The Grand Patriarch of Dietz dreams of the day he can torch that island once and for all.
The Aurelian Empire: theocratic monarchy. Culture: AurelianRuling Dynasty: House Dukais.Heraldry: the purple double eagle. Religion: the White Church of Solas. A brief overview: the Aurelians take the name after their founder: Emperor Aurelius who venerated the sun. As the Muslims destroyed the northern world, the old Imperium's pagan faiths were already challenged by a myriad of rival monotheistic cults. Among them was the Cult of Sol Invictus which tied the idea of an unconquered sun to that of God. Though the old Cult eventually disappeared, the fiery aesthetic and portrayal of God as both a being of holy light and wrathful inferno remained. Their basilica are adorned with many images of the sun and frequently portray the saints as having firing halos around their heads, and the sword of the Arch Angel Michael appears regularly in monastic scribbles. The presence of the Angels is more deeply felt in this culture which is itself a holdover from the Sol Invictii Cults that held that the gods were each personification of a different aspect of Sol. As monotheism became dominant, the Gods became Angels and Sol became God with some hold overs of the Pagan faith remaining in the form of iconography and some symbolic positions. They aim to retake their northern half, lost to the Muslim hordes for generations, and reclaim the Empire's last splendor. They have aligned themselves with the Outremer and the Bolgars in the League, with the War Bishop of Solas pledging his eternal friendship. Indeed, the warlike Brotherhood of the Holy Flame holds great influence over the Emperor and it's not uncommon to see Battle Monks patrolling Aurelian cities.

>>97270237>The fictions we paint in their spaces reflect and pull from real people and places, and your exotic is someone else's existence. Then just don't "reflect and pull from real people and places"? Why are these people always too retarded for the concept of fiction? The entire point of it is that it is not real, so why not pull on this strength to a.) make something up that doesn't exist or b.) treat it as what it is anyway - not real! I'm sure the fictional people care deeply about if you see them as exotic or not. Beside it being a fucking retarded mindset, because what is wrong with seeing it as exotic instead of pretending like that's regular everyday for you like for them? That's why most people travel in reality. And did whoever wrote this ever see how people from more isolated places react to you as a different looking foreigner? Because they certainly don't pretend like they see you everyday out some misplaced sense of moralfaggotry.

>>97272767>>Game takes place as a show of sorts, where all adventurers are watched through magical scrying and have their own little cameras that follow them around.I like this part. XCC is better because it completely changes the setting around this concept, but it's a neat concept in itself.>>Did not draw the dungeon since he thought it was a waste of time but gotm ade when we did not know where we were going or explore enough. This is a weird 5e player deal. Since most of 5e is combat its dungeons are mostly gauntlet hallways, it's been a thing since 3e. So 5e players assume stuff about dungeons without ever playing an actually decent one (like, some amateur itch one page thingie, just decent). It's something I keep finding when running OSR/NSR games, people are impressed that dungeons can be fun, when they've been a thing for like 50 years. >>97272853oh no thats my mistakebut you still answered my question anyway, the arms vary
>>97272863it's just equipment typical to the different empires. there's no hard restrictions on buying them, it's just separated into, in-universe, which faction makes/uses them. federation equipment is like star trek, ASI equipment is cyberpunk themed, Hegemony equipment is like sci-fi versions of knight/fantasy weaponryOnly Cyberknights are permitted to use Cyberknight armour, and they'll attack you on sight if you wear it outside of their faction. think Brotherhood of Steel power armour.
