>>96914462All of the Student Council's Idolons are Incarnations, so they transform. They're all roughly human-sized. Kaoru's is a ring that she has around her finger and acts as spirit armour, giving her powers on top of her tokusatsu costume, which is a real, physical object. I don't think Twinned Wrath or Geistzer are much taller than Shu or Ran are, 2 meters at most. But their anons probably know better than I do
>>96911013Other people already chimed in and are good for the role, but feel free to use Madoka if you'd like to. Or rather I kinda wanted it to be a running gag that Madoka's a professional damsel in distress who keeps needing to be saved, so the thing you're writing plays into that gag well.>>96914462For Madoka in particular, she's the exact same height and build, just with different clothes, longer hair, and slightly different hair and eye color.
>>96914488The fact that they transform doesn't mean they can't be bigger or smaller to a great degree.

Sup /tg/. I come here tonight to present you with The Realm of Yolmi.I first learned about this book years ago while reading the Critonomicon thread on one of the arhives, from this post >>24433917.>I hate to break this to you, OP but this is not the true RPG hunt.>The true all consuming RPG hunt, is the hunt for an intact copy of Realm of Yolmi. This fabled book has gained near legendary status as one of the strangest RPGs ever written. As far as I know, there are no scans. When it came out in 1977, the book had a very small circulation and seeing as it was printed literally on printer paper and bound with plastic rings it should come as no small surprise that very few copies have survived. I chalked it up as a neat little oddity, set an ebay alert, and forgot about it. Just last year a seller with an intact copy posted a listing there, then I shat bricks as I remembered what the hell I was looking at. I managed to be the lucky soul to buy it from him, and then I proceeded to be a piece of shit as I procrastinated fixing my printer and scanning it.Today I finally took 30 minutes to finally troubleshoot my printer, and then spent the next few hours in between handing out candy digitizing this old tome. Did a page check of the PDF and found pages I was missing, also finding out that the book skips page 32 due to a typo, going straight from page 31 to page 33. Regardless, here is the complete work as a searchable PDF for your amusement and bewilderment. The text may not be entirely accurate due to OCR errors. I'll mirror it on the Internet Archive shortly.https://files.catbox.moe/nlvjpv.pdfHappy Halloween, /tg/.

In his defense I think while we used to get along our personalities clashed and I needed him to be blunt with me about things, which he refused to do, instead agreeing until he personally got burnt out but only sporadically putting his foot down, instead all his statements seemed wrapped in either sarcasm or banter so it was hard to tell what was serious and what was shitposting. He ended up wanting to TPK and rewrite the entire campaign by the end, which he had done once before. The other player he kicked was the one that was in the game the longest. He also gave the advice to multiple players that if they were a "control freak" they should DM instead. He was a great writer, but clearly struggled with DMing.
I will never understand how people can so much difficulty with something as simple as saying words
Has anyone actually played this shit? All I ever see is people saying that it looks good, but nobody ever says whether or not it actually is good. Have any of you ever you ever run a campaign with it?
>>96563345Here’s a thought, are there any settings that would make for good Maiesta crossovers/fusions? What about AU concepts not already mentioned? Like, maybe one where the setting is virtual reality like the Matrix and gravs are a kind of program?
>>96905238One that I liked, though it has already been mentioned was the SMT-inspired one set on modern Earth that is invaded by demons, and some girls gain Maiesta powers to fight them. The broodmother player had a fun concept, where the character was a gamer whose broodlings, instead of looking like small creatures or mechanical things like they're usually depicted, took the form of gasmask-wearing soldiers inspired by the Helghast or the HECU troops from Half Life, who communicated in garbled radio chatter.
>>96902576Could just make another Maiesta thread, chuthulu time.
>>96906836I'd be fine with that. Though should we wait a while before making a new thread?
>>96906454Cool! Got any more art or ideas for this? Like maybe a Maiesta converted to the side of the demons?
If you created an Amazon setting, what would it be like? By Amazon setting, I don't mean a single society among many where women are primarily the fighters, I mean a setting where every society is this way.
>>96891085Nothing, I just include beautiful combatant women to my posts because it matches the thread theme.

I feel like I'm taking crazy pills. I hate Foundry because it's over-complicated, clunky, and because useless things like LOS and dynamic lighting are baked into the product. But, everyone seems to love it. What am I missing? Am I truly the only GM who despises line-of-sight and sound effects and all that video game shit? >>96909970>Using "abstract" as a term solely to indicate that it has no "theme" is retarded becausebecause there are abstract games with a lot of theme, see also Chess, Homeworlds, arguably Diplomacy is an abstract as there's only like four things each unit can do (move, support, hold still, and fleets can convoy if at sea)

>>96914467For most of the game there's turn after turn of setup before you do anything impactful. Sometimes it feels like you're getting incremental advantages but it feels like nothing is going on. This continues until the 3-pip spaceships are out in mass at which point the doors have opened too wide and the game becomes a chaotic mess because of how many options each player has.
