The only time I've ever seen the process described prior to the 2000s was Tim Prow describing how he painted a Blood Angels Captain for the original Tycho Vs Ghaz BatRep
>For the armour I wanted to get a really rich golden yellow colour that could almost be taken for a metallic gold. The base coat was a mix of Tanned Leather, Blood Angel Orange and Bad Moon Yellow. I washed this with Brown Ink into which I mixed a small amount of Black Ink to darken it.
>The highlights were Bad Moon Yellow and Skull White added to the base coat, gradually worked up to pure Skull White at the very edges of the armour plates. I've painted these white highlights with a small star effect in places to create the impression of a glint of light catching a reflective surface.
There was no write-up of the recipes or anything, but the studio Cdr Dante and Capt Tycho minis were both painted in a more defined NMM style when they released a few years later, so checking out the Codex: Angels of Death and White Dwarfs from around then for decent pics would be a good place to get some reference pics. Calgar also had some more golden-brown accents which I think were meant to be NMM, so that's another one to check out

The Technocrats were obviously funding Epstein's Island via Special Projects Division but most Syndicate looked the other way for the most part, when the funds come rolling in, Progenitors get large quantities of little girls and Iteration X gets funding thanks to nebulous banking deals. I'm also pretty sure NWO knew that Epstein was a Mossad/CIA asset. if not actively exploiting it Let's be real those guys know everything they can. That would be the least surprising thing possible

>>97815610
Correct. The Sabbat think they're 2-0, but they're 0-2. Pretty much the only person who successfully, with no caveats, killed an Antediluvian was fucking Troile. because I am a Ventrue Antediluvian truther, way too many 4th gens exist for him to have been dusted in the second city . Augie still left behind Cappadocius's soul and Saulot was indigestible by Tremere.

I actually like this April Fool's bit. It's low on interactivity between posters, but at least it serves as something of a pleb filter, at least there's an appeal to site culture . Lastly, while your idea is novel, it does make posting a little tedious to type.
>>
>>97816957
Thats why you just highlight text and control + s now youre censoring like a real NWO pencil pusher. Though nta i find it really funny how the Sabbat like constantly jerk off themselves for being the destroyers of the Antedilluvians they pretty much exclusively just make noise and do nothing rather than hunting down the actual threats to the world like the Camarilla Inner Circle, the Antedilluvians, or even Methuselahs who are all insane threats to their world view and life style instead just feeding like parasites on a carcass and attacking weak cammie cities or wartorn regions/3rd world nations

If the VtM to VtR2e conversion anon is around

I couldn't find any mention of vampire fangs dealing lethal damage to other vampires in the text. Considering they are lethal in Requiem and Aggravated in V20, I'd imagine they stay lethal in the coversion, but without mention one could imagine this means they do bashing, as per the "only if it says lethal to vampires" rule

Meanwhile, level 2 Protean Claws say they do lethal, while level 4 specifies Lethal to vampires, so I imagine it's intentional that level 2 only does bashing to vampires.

I'm sure you could think of a reasonable enough excuse. Off the top of my head:
1. They're not actually Albino, but bleach their fur.
2. They part of a breeding experiment to create more Albino Stormvermin
3. It's natural colouration, they live deeper underground than even most other Skaven

I love that GW is so much of a mess that they made a campaign set in Armageddon, gave the steel legion the squat treatment (except that this time it wasn't nids but the same enemy they've been fighting all this time), essentially reanimated yarrick with a "well we never said he died, just that he disappeared" because no one seems to like the new IG characters in years and then had to scramble to reanimate the steel legion too. All of this was avoidable if they just set the campaign in another place until the new steel legion models were ready.
>>
>>97816820
>just that he disappeared" because no one seems to like the new IG characters in years
More like they initially had like a 100 year timeskip after Rowboat returned then quickly retconned it to like 10 because it was way too much of a headache and they forgot that people don't have space marine lifespans.
>>
>>97816902
That's even funnier then, in a setting where long range communication is difficult and takes time everyone assumed he straight up died just because he didn't answer his messages for a while. He was even given a state funeral on Terra with the great bell being rung, his name getting written in the hall of heroes and all. Also there are rejuvenation treatments in 40k for important people mentioned in the fluff so it's not like him being 2/300 years old would not be too out there which I'm guessing is also something that got squatted then.

I understand how such approach would allow to keep the og Illyan concept "more intact" however imo, it is more important that the concept of half eldar is just pushed firmly out of cannon from 40k for the sake of the Eldar and their lore. Thats why I favor the explicit recon of Illyan into a full Eldar.

Splicers fans, what's up with host armor?
In a lot of the book it seems synonymous with Dreadguard, but for some reason Roughnecks and Outriders have it. Why? Especially Outriders, why do they get giant warbeasts AND host armor when packmasters and archangels don't?
It feels like they just slapped it on them late in the setting's development to justify the giant host armor creation section

Also, how exactly is humanity organized? There are nobles mentioned, but they're ruled by warlords selected through duels, so how does that work?
Finally, what is a true Gene-Pool, the stare of a gene-pool beyond Engineer and Librarian?

Prostitution is the oldest profession. It has always existed and it will always exist. The presence of prostitutes and brothels is crucial for making a game setting and world feel realistic and lived in. Otherwise, it will lack all verisimilitude. So, tell us, how have you incorporated prostitution into your game?

A meaningless distinction. It's skilled labor like any other. Building rapport, curating a list of reliable and trustworthy regular clients, negotiating sales, and putting on a good performance.

I saw a documentary once about male prostitutes who take female clients. It was fucking sad. Most of their clients were also prostitutes.

Player characters are also well poised to offer that kind of service for supplementary income.
>PCs are often race unusual for the region, that factor alone makes them in demand even with average looks
>PCs are usually powerful enough to deal with troublesome clients all by themselves.
>PCs usually don't linger in one place long enough to draw ire from people running local business on whose income their might trespass
>PCs should be already well equpipped to deal with minor injuries, disease, or any such negative consequence sustained in the process.
And general thrill-seeking nature of adventuring has implicit overlap with thrill-seeking nature of sleeping around. Might as well get paid for it.

FFG/Asmodee/EDGE still has the license, they did a reprint of all the books with the EDGE logo and they're still reprinting stuff (you can tell because books will be insanely expensive and only available 3rd party and then suddenly they'll be normally priced.)

I think it's more that EDGE is a zombie company with a ghost staff, and they would actually have to hire people to write new stuff, and why do that when they can just rerelease the old shit? I think more people are interested in the original trilogy/immediately after, and those game lines are essentially complete.

Of course they want to keep the IP running, but I'm not holding my breath for upcoming Mando movie
The Starfighter movie next year is basically a clean sheet, which may be a good idea but OTOH it's again linked to the shitty sequels.

They hired too many idiots, they actively insulted their core fandom for years, they outright refuse to do teh smart thing and use their existing treasure trove of stories and characters. . .

>>97814166
"Star Wars Fatigue", according to Disney's damage control brigade, famous also for calling fans entitled, saying their fan theories suck, and calling them bigots for any criticism against their shitty writing.
>>
To add to all the anons correctly assessing the FFG situation I want to add:
It's basically a completed system. There is tons of material for enemies, talents, vehicles, gear, resolution mechanics etc. and you are hard pressed to add something new in a meaningful way.
Playing as jedi, thief, senator, pilot and whatnot is all covered.
It is so good that the genesys homebrews are more often than not just starwars mechanics with the serial numbers filed off.

Unless you need an official source telling you that the stat block for Kylo Ren or Glibb Shitto is precicely this and that, I don't see why anyone would need much more for material unless you absolutely have to consume.
It's not like the movies introduced particularly new concepts. Vehicles remained the same across the board but with a different paint job .
>>
>>97816940
It's just weird how decades ago anyone could pay royalties to Lucasfilm/LucasArts and a Star Wars TTRPG would be guaranteed money to the point where the royalties would be effectively meaningless.
A healthy IP capitalizes on its opportunities, and big name TTRPGs have never been conscientious where actual game design is concerned; they just want to put that big name out with a fresh coat of paint.
Just look at how many reskins of Monopoly there are, for fuck sake, and that hasn't added anything new in a meaningful way since it's inception almost a century ago.

Jolly good time

>Cyberpunk 2020 vs. Cyberpunk RED?
Cyberpunk 2020 is the second edition of the Cyberpunk TTRPG by R. Talsorian Games, set in a (then) future inspired by film noir and the dark science fiction films and books of the late 20th century. It focuses on simulationist gameplay and lethal near-future combat.

Cyberpunk RED is the latest edition of the Cyberpunk TTRPG, set after the devastating Fourth Corporate War. It focuses on more balanced, streamlined gameplay and is currently supported by R. Talsorian Games.

Never say never. You just can't see them because they're inside screwing each others' brains out with stated consent and with pre-sex contracts filled and sign in triplicate. NC2045 is shaping up to be a great sourcebook, which is a good thing since I've had high expectations for it from the jump (the 2020 sourcebook is god-tier). I hope it sticks the landing, since I'll be deferring to it for most NC-related matters, if not all.
