So you're gonna pay the GM for their work, right?
No? You don't pay your GM for their labor?
Ah. I see.
So all your bullshit is just hollow, performative virtue signaling. Right. Glad we got that all settled. You may leave now.
>>

If a player generates a portrait or the GM generates some one-off NPC with imagen software, I don't give a fuck. I go into fuck debt if they actually set up a local stable diffusion thing and customed tuned their shit. Disposable material is wholly acceptable. No one should have to pay for a comm just to have a visual representation of their character.

If the GM is generating the entire campaign and doing rules look-ups with AI and not actually writing or creating anything, they should be removed from the GM seat and then beaten over the head with said seat.

Is there ANY miniature wargame that isn't insanely expensive? I'm talking about things you can buy in a box and play immediately, not "print your own minis" bullshit or things where you're forced to use proxies cause official models don't exist.

Because the rules in TW are virtually the same as in the Battletech Compendium. I do not trust Catalyst to not """"streamline""" the game for """modern audiences"""" and making it just Alpha Strike 2.
>>

That was just our local ban evader nicedaemonette getting obliterated. The mods nuke him from orbit whenever they sniff him out, regardless of what he's talking about. IDK what he did but he has their eternal enmity.
>>
>>97817532
They already summarized all of the changes and they're a lot less than what's been changed between Compendium and now. They didn't remove an entire phase of the game, for one.
Although honestly, I don't know anyone who is actually going to use this new core book thing since it only has the BSP rules for non-mechs. Everyone's going to wait for the actual full rules.

Oh no, at 10,000 you would never be able to bring more than a Star. A Kit Fox with a green pilot (3/4) is something in the range of 1500. Five Kit Foxes will of course effortlessly crush a Freebirth assault lance, but this is to my point: Not a whole lot of miniatures. Elementals, maybe, you could round it out with Elementals.

just take a companion on the prisoner pathway, make them reach sequence 0, and they can just give you the sefirot and make it accommodate you using their authority over it
>>
>>97818250
not really
I mean those western continent chuds in the 5th epoch were all using sefirots wily nily, and I'd bet none of them are sequence 0
even a sequence 9 like klein could use a sefirot
if you get to sequence 1 of the moon or mother, you can probably command enough authority in the brood hive to satisfy the advancement to moon, and if it doesn't count, advancement ingenuity got me
>>
>>97818286
>I mean those western continent chuds in the 5th epoch were all using sefirots wily nily, and I'd bet none of them are sequence 0
They weren't accomodating anything, they were dao integrators, used boons
>even a sequence 9 like klein could use a sefirot
He controlled it, thanks to CW's influence, not accomodated it
>if you get to sequence 1 of the moon or mother, you can probably command enough authority in the brood hive to satisfy the advancement to moon,
Yes, I planned to use it to be reborn from it while a KoA, as that would make me a part of it, satisfying the requirements, I wasn't saying it was impossible, just that trying to straoght-up accomodate it might be a risky idea (on the other hand with the help of the dao integrators might go better).
>>
>>97818271
This is why we can't have custom companions
>>
>>97818446
just pick one of the premade companions and convince them to help you take the sefirot then, I'm sure one of them would help

Prostitution is the oldest profession. It has always existed and it will always exist. The presence of prostitutes and brothels is crucial for making a game setting and world feel realistic and lived in. Otherwise, it will lack all verisimilitude. So, tell us, how have you incorporated prostitution into your game?

>FUCKING WIDOWS would get remarried instead of turning to prostitution.
Well yeah, I imagine most women back in ye olde tymes didn't want a bunch of foreign, unwashed, and potentially diseased [ugly bastard] dicks in them.
It isn't like today where the promise of STD treatments and abortions make women feel better about spreading for money, but the smart ones have figured out they only have to do that with a couple guys, have the babies, then extort alimony forever while also getting paid on Twitch and OnlyFans.

Syphilis was not a thing until age of sail.
Aids was not a thing until 20th century.
Contraceptives know at the time were allegedly pretty reliable (most notably Silphium plant).
For large part of history whore's only risk was not getting paid.

I kind of get what you are saying, but 5E does have rules, just not a lot. So its not chopping a tree to make a bed frame, its more like the wood is unpainted but the price being charged is for a fully prepared piece. You CAN have fun in 5E, just don't try to drown someone or explain why a giants rapier the size of a car does 1d6 damage.

>>

The youtuber has infinite avenues for new content. Your shitty module isn't special and isn't deserving of free promotion and advertising just because you mistakenly believe you are doing everyone else a favor.
>>
>>97818206
Modules are cheap and plentiful. The hobby is built around making your own shit. Someone sending you their module isn't a favor, but unpaid work to promote some faggot too poor and too stupid to know that they aren't entitled to other people's time and effort.

Besides, if it's so fucking easy, just make your own youtube channel and promote your own content. Clearly you don't value the labor of others, so why not just do it yourself?

Unfortunately I lost the game, but not by much so it wasn’t a total curbstomping. Think the main issue was my Gors being positioned badly and did nothing for two turns after destroying a unit of 2 leadbeltchers.
My Beastlord was also unlucky to be removed after a very lucky Ogre bull knocked him down when he was at 1 wound left after being in combat with the ogre general.
All in all it was a very fun casual game.

>TCaC
Dominus Emperor
>[Normal Trap Card]
You can activate this card the turn that it is Set. Declare 1 Attribute; Special Summon this card as an Effect Monster (Fiend/Level 8/ATK 3000/DEF 0)(this card is NOT treated as a Trap), and if you do, this card's Attribute becomes that declared Attribute. You can banish 1 monster from your GY, face-down, whose Level is less than or equal to 8; this monster's name and Level becomes that monster's original name and Level, and replace this effect with that monster's original effects, also for the rest of this Duel, you cannot activate the effects of monsters with that same name, unless their original name is "Dominus Emperor". You can only use each effect of "Dominus Emperor" once per turn.

I can't make a full archetype around it, so I just made one boss monster for it instead.

The basic idea is that it plays around the Dominus series' Attribute locks (you can just declare DIVINE if you don't want to use one that isn't covered) and also lets you use SOME monsters' effects while potentially under every Dominus lock by means of effect duping. I know that effect duping is dangerous, but on top of Konami generally not giving a shit about how broken their own cards are, I feel like I gave it a pretty sufficient level of restrictions (no Xyz/Links, no high-level monsters, the level is also duped which slightly reduces FTK potential, that card is fully unable to be used unless Dominus Emperor is using it).
>>
>>97818383
Perhaps a more reasonable version

Dominus Emperor
>[Level 8/DARK/Fiend]
>[ATK 3000/DEF 0]
Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned by the following effect. If a "Dominus" card has been activated during this turn, or the previous turn, you can Special Summon this card from your hand, and if you do, you can make this card's Attribute become any Attribute of your choice. You can only Special Summon "Dominus Emperor" once per turn this way. You can target monsters on the field, up to the number of "Dominus" cards in your GY: Those monsters' Attributes become this monsters' Attribute. You can only use this effect of "Dominus Emperor" once per turn.

Same intent, less dangerous (no effect duping)

I steal a lot of ideas and plot points from TV shows and books. My players are normalfags that don't consume anything that isn't current and popular, so they don't know how much I steal. The few times they actually caught on, they were fine with it.
I'm just worried I am creating a bad habit. I have tons of original ideas as well, but I'm very demotivated, since a lot of adventures fell through for one reason or another and I had to come up with brand new concepts every time, so I have been stealing a lot more recently.
