Pigheaded Edition>What is Trench Crusade? An alternate weird history 28mm/32mm tabletop skirmish game. Based on the art and lore of Mike Franchina, whose illustrations you may have seen floating around on /tg/ for a several years now, and designed by Tuomas Pirinen, one of the original creators of Mordheim. It's grimdark, it's visceral, and it's very Blanchitsu.>What's the QRD on the background? The Knights Templar turned heretic and opened the Gates of Hell when they took Jerusalem during the First Crusade. Over 800 years later the war is still ongoing as technology has developed to a pseudo diesel-punk WW1 standard and a third of Humanity has sided with the Infernal Princes.>How do I get started? All the files are free online:https://www.trenchcrusade.com/rules/They used to be split between the website and the discord, but no more. For posterity's sake, the old mega will still be kept active even if it's unlikely to need updating: https://mega.nz/folder/70QH0BBa#Eg-blxYQKkY_C02wErnFTQ>third party sources for making trenchers:Comment too long. >>97820456>TC needs to recognize this if it wants to grow as an IPThis mindset is the actual problem.TC was never designed to be anything more than a niche passion project made by a few guys for fun.It getting out to the unwashed masses unironically is the biggest problem. If it had stayed among people who actually played tabletop skirmish games, you would have questions like>How do we repair public perception of Trench Crusade?because the people involved would know what it is on about.Actual, real life faggots and mental fuckcases learning about the game is the biggest issue. They should not have interacted with the 'fanbase' at all. Just release the game, the art, the lore, do not elaborate.

>>97822139Even with the latest splat, the game still heavily incentivizes Linear Frame min maxing. It's nice to finally have other options after 6 years, but alot of the strongest guns still require Body 12 and no way to achieve it aside from frames.
>>97822191Sometimes I think about being Cyber-Legolas but I love guns way too much.
>>97822200how did I know I was talking to someone who would bring up linear frames? yeah if you spend a chunk of euro and humanity you get better. combat cyberware makes you good at combat in the cyberpunk game, news at 9. it's hardly minmaxing lol. is this the part where you bring up martial arts + linear frame?
>>97822191>VirginYou need a x2 MA skill and x1 archery to reliably deal 7d6 with specialised ammoVS>ChadGunmart Engage costs 100ebI'm joking anon, dont bite
>>97822215Sure but 2000 eddies and like 28 Humanity is nothing on CC. Keep in mind the corp deal gives you 1500 to spend on Cyberware. It's the single best piece of gear in the game. Lets you DUMP your Body while also maxing it out, massively increasing your survivability and opens the gateway to the strongest combat options in the game. It's the same issue as LAJ and Bullet Dodging, it feels like a mandatory thing you have to pick for your build with little alternative.

If i have multiple bt24 megidramon in the trash, and multiple digimon that can evolve into them on the field. Can i evolve them all at the end of the turn? Or can i do it only once per EoT?

>>97822056It's just a normal triggered Effect, you treat them like you would any other instance of multiple effects triggered at the same time. Which does mean the only thing about their effect that might stop you is the if clause, which is checked on activation. Since you draw a card on digivolution, there is a chance that the later ones will not be able to digivolve anymore because you have too many cards in hand.

I don't think either of them have ever played either of the decks and I find it especially strange how they talked about how little value you get off DGO to find pieces when they have more than 1 tamer in the deck, DGO > bt3 davis is a lot of fucking search that provides instant value AND is still enough to do your DNA comboprobably the most egregious thing was the hudie glazing and them talking about how strong it still is and how it can still kill you just as fastno, it simply is unable to kill on turn 2, if it giga high rolls and you don't play on board, it can kill on turn 3, but that requires it finding an unsearchable 1 of and a searchable 1 of, AND having way more setup, AND finding multiple hudies, AND getting down multiple tamers, which is simply unrealistic, id have to math it out to see if its even possible at all but its incredibly unlikely its even possiblethe deck can kill on turn 4 at the earliest minimum now, its a chip deck now, as was intended, no OTK, and for how much they raved about OTK and then said hudie is good is absurdthe loop got killed, that was what made the deck strong.

He was in his prime during the 1920s.
>>97819665That's actually not a bad idea. A lot of martial arts involve meditation, philosophy and other mental conditioning that could potentially increase one's resistance to lovrcraftian madness.
>>97819486We don't fucking know because we really only have vague description of his achievements when he was younger and few videos recorded when he was dying from cancer. It's impressive tho that week before dying he still was able to move and training daily. The cinematic Ip Man? He was kind of cracked and machine gunning opponents with Wing Chun punches seems to be broken.
>>97819948>Ip Man was not actually a good fighter in real life>Ip Man didn't regularly fought peopleHe was a high-ranking member of the police in Nationalist China before and during WWII, trained officers in hand-to-hand combat and riot suppression techinques, and went on to become a legend in 1950 Hong Kong during his old age, a place where people regularly beat each other to near death on rooftops. I'm quite sure he could, in fact, hand anyone's ass to them in a street fight, and that it took a long time doing exactly that to become so respected a master. Even the fucking commies, which he politically opposed all his life, have been forced to aknowledge he was a certified badass.>>97820771I think something cool could be done with breathing techniques, meridians, and other more esoteric concepts of traditional Kung Fu...
>>97819523If I recall correctly, if you roll under your unarmed fighting/brawling *and* under your martial arts skill, you get bonus damage.
>>97821548To be fair, odds are shit like that would straight up work in Lovecraft's universe given how a decent chunk of mysticism does work, even if most of them are spells are stuff.

Am I supposed to learn how to play every deck to get good at this game?
>>97821418>t. coping that his epic rogue deck only loses every time because he hasn't properly "mastered" the matchup (re: learned his solitaire route)
Its competitive solitaire. Just lock out your opponent until you get your ohko in 2 turns.
>>97815281Serious answer is that you only really need to learn like 5ish decks. People who think Yugioh is a solitaire game are retarded, it's by far the most interactive card game in relevance. Decks don't actually replace very quickly and there's a lot of holdover between formats but balance between decks is not good. It's very unlikely for a lower tier deck to be a serious consideration in a competitive setting so you only have to account for the top tier in any given format. You pick one to play, learn the match ups and that's all there is to it.
>>97815281To be world champion level of good, yes.To just be good for a casual or locals, no. Just knowing your deck and the general rules really well is often good enough to be good at that level. Of course learning popular and meta decks is a good idea that allows you to better counter such decks with your own.

Recently I found some Humanity Fuck Yeah YouTube videos that use AI voice narration on my feed. After using them as background noise while cleaning my apartment I found that that most of them are more or less the same. Humans are the only ones who know how to fight/love sex/survive/etc. How can we save the genre or reinvent it so it isn't so stale?

>>97821629Honestly, a lot of latter-day HFY stuff feels like impotent seething and coping about Avatar mixed with unironic gushing about the Imperium of Man or the Empire from Star Wars.
>>97822115Star Trek is a show about how humanity made one of the largest factions in the galaxy within a span of centuries, beating out numerous long-standing empires by remembering the 'diplomacy' part of gunship diplomacy. >Xeelee SequenceEven just looking at the wikipedia plot summary describes how humans managed to carve out the Milky Way for themselves despite the hyper-advanced aliens ruling the rest of the universe. The fact they even got that far is already HFY as hell. A better example would probably be something like All Tomorrows, where humanity as we know it ceases to exist after immediately losing a war. But even that's less about how amazing the aliens are in comparison to humanity, and rather just an excuse to explore the types of genetically engineered posthumans.

Hey lads. I'm looking for a buffed out werewolf STL like pic related in terms of detail fidelity and proportions for a KoW Undead Army.I don't like Mantic resins so I'm going the STL route.I didn't really find much that suited my tastes on myminifactory when I searched "werewolf" stuff was mostly overdesigned. I did find WGA's werewolf STLs so those will work for the smaller werewolves of KoW's Undead Army so that's covered.>>97819906Where do we go eventually?
Should I? Was going to get a wash+cure for 160 too. Be total of 50 in shipping.I've used FDM for some practical parts unrelated to tg and this would be my first resin. Is the auto-fill/drain a gimmick or actually good? I know me and that sounds like a feature I'd immediately want after trying to reclaim resin for the 3rd time.
>>97822131A regular M7 is $389 off their website... I don't own either, but I would base your purchase on whether or not you need the heating more than anything. Pouring resin into a tub isn't hard, pouring it back into the bottle just takes a funnel (you'd need to wipe down the tub film afterwards either way).
>>97809417https://consumerrights.wiki/w/Bambu_Lab
>>97822131A few years ago, some people started using electrical pumps to get resin out of their vats. It didn't go well for them (and the pumps).Just get a huge syringe, they are great for empyting full vats and are easy to keep clean.

Last one I played with other people was basically just a slightly more silly version of earth were slapstick rules applied. So not only were bananas a thing but were technically a viable weapon and punchline. As far aa my more serious worldbuilding setting that I use for solo play and writing, there are bananas but they are the wild kind that are small with seeds. No one has consistently domesticated them to make them like modern bananas yet.Maybe if the island of Chim (still working on the name of the island) is properly settled then after a generation I will just handwave that bananas were domesticated in the background, but for now you probably won't see a banana at even exotic markets. Only found wild in tropical climates. So that is my real answer for a silly thread.
