Recently I found some Humanity Fuck Yeah YouTube videos that use AI voice narration on my feed. After using them as background noise while cleaning my apartment I found that that most of them are more or less the same. Humans are the only ones who know how to fight/love sex/survive/etc. How can we save the genre or reinvent it so it isn't so stale?

one of the things is that the humans aren't even incompetent per se, after all they still beat the Na'vi militarily despite having a serious disadvantage on the final battle due to the electromagnetic disturbances (they had no such issues during the attack on the home tree which is why that entire thing was the most one-sided slaughters imaginable, the only loss the humans suffered that day was one of their number defecting because of how bad a slaughter it was)
It's them getting caught off guard by the planet wide super-intelligence mobilizing literally the entire biosphere against them that deals the final blow

because again has to be said repeatedly, this was not a military operation in the slightest, the entire aerospace portion of the operation is run and operated by civilians and the mercs are damn lucky they actually managed to finagle mercenary pilots for their VTOL craft

aside from that of course, the biggest blunder the humans made was completely fumbling diplomacy not just with the Na'vi but also with the planetary supercomputer, but that blunder is already well established before the first movie even begins as a key part of why the movies even happen in the first place

the most common thing people took away from the first movie is that it was gorgeous, people might not have liked the characters much but they did like the world and how it was presented
and yes that means even among the general moviegoing audience there was a lot of sympathy for the Na'vi, mostly because the world was so pretty and the corporate dickbags in that movie were trying to destroy the pretty world

Sorcery was a kickstarter success and so far seems to be doing well but that is also due to recognizing it is very much a niche product and playing to that niche.

Since at least Occult Adventures in 1e, Paizo's been piecemealing the Warlock kit and ideas to various classes. Especially once D&D5e hit, they saw the frankly overloaded class, and just decided to not do it for 2e.

Arcane spellcasting is probably the least important thing from Warlock identity. Hells, you could probably fit them into any of magic types without changing much fluff-wise. Patron being the neckbreather is likely the most important aspect of the class identity thing, whereas Eldrich Blast being customizable thing is probably most important mechanical identity.

Race based slurs aren't really impactful or all that insulting/offensive in my setting.
Like the Blooded might refer to "lesser" peoples as stock (as in livestock, you know, because they literally feed off them or use them for their utility). But people are generally more concerned with what the blooded do, not what they say. There are still stories from before the Apex was revived, when powerful blooded did whatever they pleased in their domain, including horrific fleshcrafting and unethical experimentation. So just being referred to with dehumanizing language is basically nothing.

Fera will refer to humans as hairless or baldies, since fera are covered in body hair. But it's generally seen as a childish insult with no real impact or venom behind it.
Lizardmen will occasionally call the other races apes, but again there is no bite behind it.

People got more serious shit to deal with then fantasy racism.

Hell, to the people in Centennial, comments about piss and shit are FAR more offensive to them.
Meanwhile to the people of Soul, blasphemy in general and especially blasphemy against their main god Sol, are fighting words that will get you killed. They have zero tolerance for it.

I think that name rings a bell, I saw it when I looked up CSC in the archive.

It's a really great piece of work, I've been having a marvelous time with it at my Gongfarmers chapter.

The next adventure I want to do is a multiple-choice mission where the PCs are offered three jobs from their fixer;

Turns out, it's all the same guy. A mob informant is trying to duck out of his deal. The District Attorney wants him to testify, the triads want him dead, he wants to go to Tahiti with his mistress. The PCs will be up against two other teams of runners who have opposing objectives.

Anyone here ever tried using the Veins of the Earth cave generation system? I like how it can make nonlinear and challenging passages, but I can see it becoming repetitive with the limited number of options.

That doesn't mean he kung-fu'd his way through riots or that he trained cops to use wing chun to fight rioters. You're conflating basic training, which all cops do, with the movies where this guy was an untouchable badass.

Again, Ip Man wasn't the invincible superman of the exaggerated movies based on his life, nobody is capable to put down hordes of people with his Kung Fu irl. But the very fact he was a police officer during times of strife disproves the accusation that "he never regularly fought people", as the fact that he was selected to supervise police training, something a fake master could never achieve in pre-WWII China, disproves the accusation that he was just a moron spewing Bullshido, like many modern chinese lolcows. As for teaching cops Wing Chun, Ip Man did exactly that: several among them went on to be Wing Chun masters themselves, and take students of their own. Apparently, there were a few whose interest got beyond basic training. All of this is well documented: famously, Wing Chun associations very meticulously record master-student's lineages. While you can, technically, print a fake certificate and sell yourself as a true Sifu, trained by legendary masters, you would be immediately sued the moment actual practitioners learn of your existence should you decide to pull this trick with Wing Chun. Bullshido dealers either invent their style or claim to be the last successors of some style among the many that got purged by the commies.
