>>96536129The picture is from a scene in the wolf of wall street in which the main character says "absolutely fucking not". I'm not answering the former.
>>96536129It's a very deviant and dangerous masturbatory act, pretty much the most masochistic thing that you could do without "really" hurting yourself in a conventional way.
>>96535767Is that why he's so gruff? Suffering from twinkdeath?
>>96536129It's sticking an item down your urethra. It feels more interesting than it does pleasurable really. Like the back of your palm kinda sensation but inside your cock. Move too fast and it is extremely painful though. Boil whatever it is too or you will get a minor infection that will make you feel like you are pissing lava.

Why do most sci-fi settings sideline space combat but instead mostly focus on ground warfare?

How accessible is Magic as a quality of life improvement device in your world? Assuming it's fairly high fantasy, what are some magical items that would be available to everyday people and how much do they cost? Some examples from my world are; Vines that levitate and can be used as rebreathers once prepared properly, they have large sacks of air on the end that are often used for under water salvage missions and the leaves bite when you try to harvest them. There are also stones that create the bulk of fresh water in the world, they're used as ballasts for ships crossing the oceans and as a constant source of potable water during the voyage.
>>96535931They do use it all the time, just not in an active way.The tech can't work without the biological component (you, in this case), being able to allow the tech to interact with the energies that make it all possible. Your brain/soul acting as a conduit for data as long as you use the tech
>bio leggingsA creature that has evolved into the shape of pants with foot coverage. The wearer slips it on over their naked lower body; a tendril slides its way through the wearer's anus, until just below the stomach. The tendril's purpose is to absorb nutrients for the creature's sustenance, which reduces the absorption of its host by about 50%, so the host will need to eat more, and more often, as a consequence. The sex of the creature must be the opposite of the wearer, as males have hemipenes on the front; having a female host makes the creature more willing to be worn, because even though they're biologically-incompatible, the creature still receives pleasure from being hosted. Same goes for females, the cloaca-like organ is flexible enough to house a human penis of any length and girth while cradling it and the testicles comfortably.Pleasure and comfort aren't the only benefits, however. The creature has high twitch-reflexes, and can slowly develop a psychic link of increasing strength with its host, to improve synergy for any task involving the legs. Increased running speed, better strides, longer leaps, higher jumps, harder kicks. Incredible force-dampening properties on the exterior reduce impacts of all forms, and the leggings themselves act as compression wear to reduce stress on the wearer's joints. The creature has adaptive temperature control, of up to 50°C in either direction of the wearer's preferred temperature, enabling comfort in somewhat harsher climates.Rare variants, or those who have adapted to a fighter's body, will have empowered psychic ability, enabling levitation, or energy dampening. Depending on fighting style, the creature may develop bioluminescent nodes for low to no light areas, ocular nodes that shoot psychic lasers, nails/talons/dewclaws for attacking/climbing/gripping, thorns to punish attackers. Some are even known to develop exoskeletal shells for additional protection.
>>96535945Anon if you don't use your legs, arms, or lungs you will literally lose all function of them and other parts of your body.
>>96535966>They do use it all the time, just not in an active way. This makes no sense as they would gain skills with it. This is as dumb as settings that say "everyone is actually a mage but you have to meditate for 50 years before you can cast a simple spell".
>>96536141It takes active effort to use telekinesis. More so if you're trying to learn how to use a machine that makes your telekinesis ultra-precise enough to move atoms to build meta materials to build the necessary space infrastructure. It does take some effort to use the tech to sort information with your brain but that's th extent of the actual exertion you are doing aside from not resisting it.

Which FEP should I buy for a Mars 5 Ultra? Does brand make a difference? There's like, KOYOFEI and a few unbranded ones on amazon. Could go for the original ELEGOO ones too, I guess, but the shipping takes longer.

>>96535612The fact that they need power attack in the first place is what made them worse. In most systems you could just pump your strength, get a big weapon and that's enough to deal solid damage. In D&D you must have power attack and then preferably to also have ways of offsetting the attack penalty. Mind you PF isn't really better in that regard.
>>96535651monster AC did not scale that much so you always had plenty of bonus bab to power attack with
>>96535651Power attack & combat expertise should have been baked in combat options available to everyone & the weapon focus tree should be free to fighters
>>96536109Yes and yes.
>>96536109I have no fucking idea why Combat Expertise was a separate option from fighting defensively.
>Party fighting monster in cave>Hey DM are there any stalactites on the ceiling I can shoot to make them fall on the monster?>Party fighting invisible enemy>Hey DM is there any flour or other powder around I can use to throw at them?>Party fighting flying enemy>Hey DM is there a blanket or something lying around I can throw on them to weigh them down? How about using the tools in your toolbox to solve the problem instead of asking me to magic up a solution?

janny mad lol
>>96514391What are you bitching about? Many DMs would sell their souls for players that use their brains.
>>96536134lol yeah using your brains is when you just expect the GM to hand you a win
>You NEED to follow canon >Anyway if you question anything related to a popular head canon theory most online take as fact you are wrong
>>96519790>Trust me bro it's NECESSARY to have court cases that takes literal generations to resolve for the Imperium to survive Nurgle and Tzeentch totally don't get empowered by the suffering the administratum causes every minute of every day dude no wayYou're confusing necessary with unavoidable unfixable dogshit.
>>96533636>You're confusing necessary with unavoidable unfixable dogshit. They are the exact same thing in 40k.
>>96528679>Yeah m8 fantasy settings work like that. you fantasize what you’d be in the given setting. sometimes people like to stand in for a character close to what they are irl, its fun.All fine. But that doesn't make the figments of you imagination your family or even warrant care about them. Because they aren't real.
>>96502019The constant debate over "Something's chasing the Tyranids!" or the "Tyranids were lured here by the Pharos!" when they're both single-source things that have never been mentioned since. The longstanding Ork Logic bollocks where they parrot "They lose because they don't want to win!" and other such retarded statements, when they could just pick up the book and see its not rewriting reality, it's greasing its wheels.
>>96535899Yeah, while Pharos is what got the Tyranids' attention, what's REALLY attracting them is the Astronomicon.Ironically, there's Tyranids very near Terra, the Genestealer malstrain from Necromunda. But, unlike the Ymgarl strain which are avoided and used as side-hoes, they refuse to even hear the Malstrain's call.
5e < PF1 < 3.5e < PF2Shrimple as that.
>>96534710those game mechanics predate 5e and my 6 month year old son will beat up your third grader with a gurisame . you cannot advance.
>>965349492e is good beacuse of the depth of the different settings it offered. I find the rules to be pretty mid, though the metagame was healthier than later editions and that is worth a great deal. >>96535007Skill list are retarded 90% of the time. 3/4/5e type games have one players Autosolve the encounter most of the time, or feel terrible when they roll a 3 and someone who just dipped the ability rolls a 20. Without pedantic skill lists you get far more players engaging with a social encounter or dungeon room and I get to reward and punish my players appropriately for nonlinear thinking or general idiocy . I often finding myself saying 'you need to pick a lock give me int or dex' instead of ' who has trapfinding?'
>>96534947It didn't say it was bad, I said it is one of the traits of 5E D&D that the FFXIV RPG kept as it evolved out of a 5E setting hack into something a little more of its own thing.>>96535090You're retarded.
>>96535640yes but my son is deadly

>"IRON WITHIN, IRON WITHOUT!!!"
>>96532952That's the catch 22, isn't it? When the sci-fi armour does cover up the wearer's mechanical replacement limbs, how can you tell that the wearer has mechanical replacement limbs?
>>96534530Pert isn't worthy to lick the dirt off of ferrus's boots.

>play in 4 AD&D games a week>stop caring about the hobby, becomes a way to pass the time>drop down to 2 games>start caring about OSR theory again, engage with the hobby critically and find renewed passionBeing nogames is kind of good, actually.
>>96535518>My system is so dogshit I need to carefully control every single thing my players can do to make it work.LMAO
>>96526231Brain damage in action.
>>96535540wrong game bub>>96535548>leaving it up to chaos by making them select things based on labels and not contents>somehow this is perfect control?
nope right game I'm batman
>>96536051Yes anon, deliberately controlling the players access to information so they can't make informed decisions is controlling and manipulative behavior. As is forcing them to allocate points in a specific way instead of how the rules would allow. It's pretty pathetic that you need to hamfist shit together to even get through the starting point that is session 0.

>>96534890>>96533801if we put half-elves on there, we should just as well put Shadowheart (BGIII) in it, Jaheira (BG 1,2 and 3) or Camellia or Octavia (Pathfinder)and while we're at it just put in Daeran he's technically not even an elf, in any way, he's an Aasimar, the pointy ears come from his Azata blood, but apparently something like that doesn't matter to anyone in here

>>96535934Might as fucking well do that, go all the way up and yap-no-justu at the two in charge of the Abbey. Hey, she Kos'ke into Planetary Governor position. Everyone gets inside the walls as the sun sets and the wall turrets are repaired. Callidia gets the Sisters to stay at the precinct and rest at the vacant bunks of the Arbites, Proctor Dietz can complain when he arrives back if he wants.Callidia pulls Haxta aside to have a chat and tells her she knows she's not telling everything. Haxta agrees and says it's because she also wasn't told everything. Take it up to the Canoness and the Palatine.Haxta says that the Lord Sector used to listen to the Canoness, he doesn't anymore for whatever reason, and that the Lord Sector is a cunning monster. Well then, a few things that might buy favour for Callidia:>she's the reason the sisters even knew the guard was coming and is a chance to get help against this siege>she girlplotted and restored the tithe by having the ashleen harvest a fuckton of ghostfire, and had their main opp cleaved in two, freeing them to secure even the PG post>that means the guard doesnt have to go after the tithe and is free to help the abbey>restoring the tithe should please the Lord Sector, as per some of the Proctor-Laureate's wordsThe crackolytes are supposed to fuck off from Iocanthos before the guard arrives, but fuck that, might as well send a preliminary report that their original mission is done and go fuck around the Abbey. Callidia's self interest is gaining clout with the Abbey to be officially promoted from Novitiate and restore a modicum of relationship between the Sororitas and =][=, even if its only with her Lord Inquisitor.Hopefully figuring out this issue and saving the Abbey also adds to her and the crackolyte's resume to get promoted within the Inquisition too.Comment too long. Has anyone taken a look at Battle Century S?It sounds like its a bit of a simplified version for those playing online/without a map, also cuts down the math a little.
>>96534670Nevermind, just realized its free so I'll take a look at it.
>>96530331>>96530346>>96530528I am still struggling to come up with a good name for the mechs. Would something like treadwalkers be too on the nose? It was going walking as the main locomotion but they would have a short speed boosts using treads or wheels on the feet for certain things.
>>96535961>Would something like treadwalkers be too on the nose? It's not on the nose, it's just bad. They don't have treads, so why would you call them a treadwalker?
>>96532980It's pretty basic and doesn't feel like a uniquely GUNDAM card game but it's alright. Granted I only have the Fed and Zeon starter decks. Feds (control) feel and play better to me than Zeeks (aggro)
