>>97175422Absolute crazy, people waited in line like 2h before the official start, some didn't even get promos, people weren't let once a certain number was reached (even when people left; No badge = no entry, meaning people sold their badges after leaving???), the store had so much downtime people went apeshit (especially One Piece players lol), 2h delays on some side events, etc., crazy experienceBut the people attending for Digimon were extremely nice

>>97174610That's the kind of bold-but-crazy-good twist you can pull with a classic Forgotten Realms dnd campaign and then send your players right into Planescape, though I never had the balls to try it for real.
>>97167043>Space Marines don’t see the Emperor as a godBut why would they? They have the power, independence, and age to see the Ministorum for what they are; a tool of social control and surveillance. They have the ability to travel multiple worlds throughout the galaxy and see the lies told on each world. Every preacher a new religion, and about the guy you're gene-descended from, that some of your dreadnaughts met and remember for the man he was.
>>97174071My friend was like that as well and now he loves the setting. We convinced him to join a Dark Heresy campaign as a tribal death world recruit, so he could still play as a "fantasy" character, just thrown into a very alien world. He enjoyed it very much and soon got fully into 40k.Honestly nice thing about 40k is that depending on what you prefer you can present it as almost hard sci-fi with a few soft elements, you can present it as almost fantasy with a big focus on space knights and daemons, or you can present it as something in-between. So maybe just ask your players to give it a try for a single one-shot and lean more towards the second approach, who knows, maybe it will buy them. Just don't shower them in lore right out of gate Honestly from my experience people who claim they "don't like sci-fi" mostly have stuff like Star Trek or classic raypunk space operas in mind. Which is still abysmally shit taste, but 40k is almost as far away from that tonally and aesthetically as it is from D&D. And if they refuse to even give it a single try out of courtesy for you, that's just being a stubborn asshat
>>97172442gork and mork were created with the species, along with the Eldar gods. These "racial gods" are engineered psychic defence systems to ensure that these races do not create malevolent entities in the warp. The Eldar fucked this up by abandoning the worship of their own gods and becoming hedonists, while the Orks simply degraded because they were a rushed project made purely for fighting and the old ones were no longer around to reel them in.
>>97172900this is genuinely fucking terrible display from players. When I GM the players have ZERO say over what happens outside of their IC choices, they don't get to "plan arcs" or tell me where the campaign will head, and they dont get to retcon anything either. Also players need to learn that gear can be lost, this is not a video game where you get to keep a fancy gun forever. God Im so angry on your behalf, I hope thsoe faggots all get what is coming to them
May I play as a demoness?
First you'll have to answer where the fuck that art is from.

Cloudspire is finished. Is it worth getting into?
>>97175395Only if you got someone else as autistic as you are.Cloudspire shares the same problem as Mage Wars Arena. The skill FLOOR is way too high for many to really get into it much and as such most will never dedicate enough time to it to see it shine. If you do dedicate the time to it? Fantastic game with enough depth to last a literal lifetime.
>>97175414doesn't it have a solo mode that is supposed to be kinda good?
>>97175439The game has solo scenarios which are more akin to puzzling out a victory given a starting board state. It works, but it isn't really a solo game mode with a lot of legs. Cloudspire REALLY shines in PvP but odds are high you will not have the patience and dedication to get what it has to offer and odds are even lower you find another human who will be able to do the same. It's a fantastic game but there is a damn good reason a lot of reviewers weren't keen on it. If your job is burning through games and finding strong impressions on a very small pool of plays? Cloudspire is going to come off as middling at best.
>>97175395finished how?
What system has the best rules for playing as a giant?
>>97166949Mutants & Masterminds. Because it has probably the most streamlined, consistent and easily applicable system for punting people, buildings, ships and even planets. No matter what it is you can easily see if your character capable of punting it and how far. You can easily have a giant brawl in the middle of the city with giants throwing each other left and right, toppling buildings, squashing humies and throwing horses at each other. Or shoving a bell from the church tower over the head of your opponent and ringing it.

>>97175391it works great on an open tabletop. People stopped buying infinity because metal prices went up 400% and they had to transition to shitty forgeworld resin and forgeworld prices while not having nostalgia-goggles of braindead 40k players willing to buy shitty overpriced resin in a gay setting. The rules themselves were a blast. The free reactions doesn't work on wide open table, they'd have to split reactions into paid-reactions and free-reactions and make paid-reactions like shooting a moving unit cost points like reaction points in horus heresy already do.
>>97175201>Horus HeresyNo
>>97175391also, there's zero reason why a game benefits from a wide open bowling ball tabletop. Neither horus heresy or 40k are playable without heavy terrain with their trash rules already. Have you not seen tournament layouts in the last 10 years?!

>>96935804I have a request. I'd like to request a picture of a Fallout Super Mutant dressed like a mafioso enforcer. So he'd have that classic mafia attire of a dress suit, fedora, spats, etc. But all weathered, patched, and slightly ill-fitting, shoes torn open to accommodate his feet (the largest size anyone could find for him was size 13, but he needed size 15).

>>97153772You could play a halfling.
>>97158390>lolibarbarian is supported by canon. It'd be pretty hard to qualify for, because barbarian kit for Fighter required 15 strength, and women had a strength penalty (unless that's one of the rules removed between 1e and 2e).Shotabarian would be easier.Though calling 14 shota or loli is stretching it. They're minors, but they're not prepubescent. /aco/ allows them, so at the very least 4chan moderation thinks they're on the non-loli side of the line, since loli/shota is only allowed on /b/.
>>97175372You could do both. A child halfing is very smol.

>>97175308>Non-wizard because kids don't have enough time to become oneWarforged have a weird twist to this. >>97171987Also abs, yum.
I've decided that the best part of OSRS's sailing skill is the revelation that Catherby's mayor is a fish. Because the locals hated the person running for mayor and decided to elect a fish and just replace it when it dies.
>>97171887Sadness.
>>97172261You find out the mayor is a fish because Catherby has a law against non-humans working in the town, which was made by the woman no one wanted to have as mayor as a response to the town's decision to elect a fish.Thankfully they had a loophole since the law the woman forced through immediately before that one was that mayors serve for life
