How is a provisional license different from just a normal hero license?

Enoch stayed because the facility is all he's known, and he has the delusions of grandeur (glorious view) to think he can change the parts he dislikes about it. The arc I imagined for him would be one of struggling to stand out as an individual inside a military, trying to mimic the """heroics""" of his gene donor, and eventually reaching a point where he has to choose to fall in line as just another tool, or break away and forge a new destiny along with the other escapees.

Although now that I'm looking over the mp, maybe it was a wrong choice. There are too few escapees and too many stayers with defined roles and squads. So maybe I could write about him going on a chaperoned mission before The Revelation, and seeing the bright lights of life outside would be enough to sway him. I dunno.

Maybe I should have separated those by gender, unless we really want to mix them. Looking at the class roster, we have 25 characters in 1D, with 12 boys and 13 girls unless that one piece about Sora getting genderbent was canon, or Noah gets treated as a girl.

So far, meeting the preferences listed of girls is easy, for example:
Sally - Tame (although she hasn't specified he preferences yet)
Orochi - Chihiro
Kaylee - Yui
But, there is an odd number of them. So while the rest can be paired up randomly, there is one girl in a solo room, a three person room, or matched with someone from another class.

Now, for guys, it's more complicated. Since it's an even number of guys, it would be better to just pair them up inside of 1D, which doesn't work great.
The biggest issue is Inigo. Hiro is his only male 1D preference, and it's one-sided.

There are some reasons to keep it same class
1. The reason they were put in the dorms in the first place. 1D specifically is perceived at higher risk as Sandy's former class. In canon, when they got put in the dorms for similar reasons, different classes were put in different buildings. Getting assigned to room with them might raise concerns.
2. There are just too many dumps in other classes. Some chosen builds that people care about are fine, but let's not mix a wave of NPCs into this.

Bastly doesn't plan on shutting the Hob House, so the answer to this question depends on why the guild shut down in the first place.
If Bastly died, and his provisions to keep the Hob House running failed, he couldn't really do anything about it. If he knew that's how it ends, he'd be pretty dejected. He hoped the guild could be a form of his legacy. Maybe it at least did some good while it was operating.
Another possible reason is that the Magic Council decided to shut it down after Seph went on a rampage or something like that. Bastly might end up at least partially held responsible for it, so he could land in jail. If possible, he'd try to make up for the damage done. If he still has resources after, he'll open some other charitable institution to help the lost youth, just not focused on mages.
It could also be a more "slow death" type of thing. With just a lack of new members, old ones quitting and so on. In this case, the answer is also opening a different type of charitable institution.
The last option is that Bastly went bankrupt somehow (Vera's machinations?), and is simply unable to continue operating the Hob House. He'd try to downscale the operation and help the members out however he can, but it's possible that the guild would just have to be dissolved. In that case, Bastly would simply have to find work, and help people out on a personal scale.

Lorus would join a light guild, probably Hob's House if they take him. It would be fitting, he does have some repressed trauma and maybe Bastly can do something about the looming threat of Lorus snapping. He would still try to keep close to his friends tho, so if most of them go another way he would try to follow them.

If Lorus gets his memory back without snapping he would try to make a guild. It would be a small thing, mostly to gather his friends. It would a light guild, mostly taking exploration and protection jobs. He does not have the skills to redeem people but he would at least offer a place for those that want to redeem themselves. Depends on how Moon's Watch closes down. If it ended with some serious tragedy, Yam probably wouldn't join another guild out of fear that the same thing will just happen again. He would also blame the demon that cursed him and become a wandering demon hunter, staying mostly alone and rarely remaining in one place. As a close-quarters marital, Yam is, of course, a frontline fighter. His luck can put him into a more advantageous position when fighting, but he can't 'use' it willingly, it just happens and he adapts accordingly. He uses a big sword that deceptively makes him seem slow, but combined with Blade Bound, it isn't as cumbersome as people would expect. The cyoa seems... okayish? I know it's a beta test but pure blood devils don't have much going on for them. There are 72 pillars and 4 super special bloodlines to choose from (which you can't even reach in some scenarios), but that's the only choice they have. If you try to make a pure blooded devil without a noble bloodline, you don't have anything to spend points on. You have to take the noble pill or the hybrid pill.

You could probably introduce costs to the pieces of a reincarnated devil. If being a queen costs the same as being a pawn, queen becomes a lot more attractive cuz of the greater stats. There should also be an option for multiple piece investment (8 pawns or 2 bishops).

Honestly, the more I think about it, DxD seems like quite the annoying franchise to cyoa for. The biggest "draw" of the series is the sacred gear system, which requires too much customization. Everything else is just different flavors of punching and beams from what I remember. Rias? Destruction beam. Akeno? Lightning beam. Issei? Punching + dragon beam. Kiba? Sword beam. Koneko? Punching + life energy beam. Asia? Healing beam. Angels? Holy beam. So on and so on.
