Turned out that he'd be extremely useful thematically too. He'd be the squire of Tyland Lannister in KL in season 1 alongside Clarent Crakehall, training with the Red Keep with the royals. He'd be visibly sad after hearing the bastard insults thrown at the Strong Boys when they arrive. He'd then have a father son type conversation with Lord Caswell who witnessed the whole ordeal and he'd talk about the regrets with his own bastard son, Tom Flowers. When the Green Coup happens he's one of the few people trusted to capture valuable targets in the Red Keep and is promised knighthood, he catches Lord Caswell escaping and is struggling with the choice of capturing or letting him go. He promises everything will be fine and peacefully takes him in. But Caswell is killed and he feels immensely guilty because of it. He's entrusted with guarding a quarter of the gold that's being sent to Lannisport/Oldtown. Either because of uncertainty on the safety of the Gold Road due to news being leaked or his guilt pushing him to try break the news to Lady Caswell, he takes the Rose Road. Just when he's about to gain the confidence to reveal the truth to Lady Caswell, she makes an off hand remark about bastards and he cowers away. He goes off to Highgarden and is apprehended (episode ender type moment) where several lords have arrived mad about the news that the lords were murdered in KL. It's intense but they make it out due to schizo fence sitting Lady Tyrell and go to Lannisport where they're greeted well. We end that as season 2.

These two were allies of Ormund (killed by who) so Ormund panics and attempts to forge a marriage pact with his son but the maester and/or septons intentionally mess up causing a marriage to Ormund to be forced. He reluctantly marries her to bind Alan Tarly. At the funeral at the Real Highgarden (somewhere in the maze of hedges) ahead of the wedding, Owen promises that he'd find a way for him and Samantha to be together. When word comes out of the Green Coup, Beesbury and Owen convince Tarly to rebel and switch allegiances to their friend. They initially do well and just when the Honeywine is going their way, Daeron comes to the rescue and fucks the shit out of them. Owen dies, the Alans cry and so do we.Isembard Arryn would be a peak slimy sleazebag of sorts that's good with money. Funny shit stirrer for the Arryn succession crisis mess in the Vale during the Regency seasons.
