Alright TV. I am going to give this movie another try. Good movie, biggest issue is that the film loses energy the farther into it we go.I understand that there is supposed to be an intentional juxtaposition at the end, showing that while everything that crumbles around us, only the ruthless can make it through and survive. Yet, the tone only allows us to experience the dread, and not partake in our protagonist's catharsis. The tone should have instead allowed us to experience both his catharsis along with the dread for society. This would have been more reflective of how, while we acknowledge the destructive force of our system, we all still partake in and enjoy our successes within the system, no matter how small they are. We tell ourselves, just like every person in the movie, that there is no other choice.
