While Retaliation had a better Cobra Commander design I think Rise of Cobra is more fun overall. It feels like a toy commerical brought to life which I feel is what GI Joe is meant to be in live action, Also that Snake Eyes movie sucked, they made it so dull.

All of the casting from the movie mogged the show
>John Cleese as Monty
>Meryle Streep as Josephine
>Jim Carrey (even with his insufferble adlibbing) was a better Olaf
>Jude Law as Snicket (though Waterburn was a good pick too)

>>217457879
> Flimsy, uninteresting premise

It’s basically a TOS episode and would be an okay one if it were. Kirk defies God is a Shatnerian ego balloon worthy of Trek. It just didn’t have enough going to be a full length movie.
>>
>>217458102
>It just didn’t have enough going to be a full length movie.
that's why there's the B plot of Sybok
arguably a C plot with Kirk's camping escapades as well

Thoughts on the short flashback segments? I thought they worked great and liked how they were mostly used for comedic purpose and served as a window to Dunks mind.
>>
>>217458030
The quick cuts with flashbacks to past gags, like the beatings and especially the mucus guy, felt like early-2000s gross-out comedy, like I was watching Shrek mixed with the Ice and Fire universe.

Really? I thought it was his whole thing. In the comic at least, he's portrayed as this embodiment of the negatives of masculine aggression (being territorial, dominating, both a literal and sexual appetite) so the penis metaphor makes sense.

>use hallucinogenics to deep dive into themselves and heal or open their minds.

What's so great about a pretentious junkie? Drugs can teach you nothing about yourself or life or the universe, they only trick your brain into feeling profoundness. This is why when junkies try to articulate their drug-fueled "revelations", it's just shallow garbage about oneness and whatnot.
>>
>>217457590
If you get a headache do you eat tylenol?
>>
>>217457590
You're right about drugs tricking idiots into being less dismissive of their own fleeting stupid ideas, but they can genuinely be helpful for people who have locked up mentally.
People who are stuck on certain prejudices or ways of thinking. The barriers they've put up from certain experiences can be loosened, and they can have their brains made more flexible and it can usher them to relax, open up and live again.
American buttheads tripping to laugh at Jim Carrey is very different to a young tribesman searching for his spirit animal.
>>
OP here. I completely forgot about the movie. Im fine though.

Ive had very serious experiences before. I really dont view drugs as some opening. To me its just an interesting way to spend a night.

I'm the anon who recommended the Mask on mushrooms a few days ago. God, if you're still on mushrooms, look at the movie poster. Holy shit. He knows something you don't. He has already seen the end of times, all the comedy and drama of human existence. Although he can literally materialize things, he knows in the human world you need MONEY to have fun. Money to be famous. He comes in this ridiculously large limousine to mock at us, silly humans. We all worship the golden calf.

It’s not voluntary retard. It dosent require you voluntarily using social media. If the house you live in has been sold in the last 15 years, there’s pics of the interior available online. Are you not aware of how Google Maps/earth works? If you’ve ever gotten a line of credit or ordered anything, it’s out there. Do you not get mail to your home? You sound like you’re 15. I hope an adult isn’t this stupid.

>send a google earth screenshot of his house to him
>hilarity ensues
And that was done in 5 minutes. It’s easier than ever to find people

>I like to feel that something is on me. To be entirely without clothes is like being a cat with nothing to grab onto. You will be disoriented, distressed, and lash out for something, anything.
It feels weird at first but then you get used to being naked. It eventually starts to feel more comfortable than wearing clothes. I actually prefer it now. When I get home from work I take everything off and sit on a towel that I change out regularly.
