How come you don’t see paparazzi photos anymore? It used to be huge and every actor was getting their picture taken. Now I don’t see any anymore.

There's no law for it, but I could see it.
Like, if you use an actor's face, and post it on social medias that monetize the content, for every 100k views you gotta pax X% amount to the actor's rights instead of pocketing everything yourself.
I could see something like that being fair and realistic

there isn't anything like the original twilight zone.
I've gone through tons of these anthology series. 1960s twilight zone was one of a kind, not all episode are good but most are, more than one would expect.
i found original outer limits lame and outdated compared to twilight zone - a lot of it is shitty robots and flying saucers and rubber aliens and stupid normal 50s/60s scifi crap with little imagination.
twilight zone had a ton of novel ideas, and even the flying saucer etc episodes are more about the characters, as a friend pointed out 20 years ago - the same fucker that introduced me to this site in fact.
the 1995 outer limit however has a lot of quality episodes, some of the most memorable of which have dark twist endings which tend to haunt you after the episode's over.
there are a handful of episodes from other anthologies which are memorable, but overall not great.
5-6 good episodes from the 80s twilight zone remake/boot, which unfortunately is incredibly corny and jewish on the whole.
the later TZ series are awful.
>>
>>217367534

Why the fascination with old stuff?

I rec Beverly Hillbillies, I Love Lucy, Dennis The Menace, The Monkees for early sitcoms.
Threes Company for 70s/80s sitcoms.

If you want truly weird, surreal black n white movies watch

Last Year At Marienbad
Even Dwarfs Started Small
>>
Also watch the 80s Amazing Stories.
Also watch Twin Peaks.
>>
>>217367534
>general 1960s shows
hogan's heroes' first episode only is in black and white but it's very 1960s and also actually fucking funny
in general >>217367673 is right though, there's really nothing quite like the original twilight zone run. it really is an anthology of character pieces and how humans are still human no matter the setting (there is an episode actually called almost exactly that, but- i won't spoil it) and futurism and sci fi are fun and cool but also cool as just set dressing for really fucking good actors doing their thing. and yeah you can say it was political at times, rod serling was that kind of guy, but there is a massive fucking difference between even the worst twilight zone episode and anything new that gets compared to it. if you ever hear someone mention any of those netflix specials like love sexy robots or black mirror or whatever in the same breath as twilight zone, you have a good reason to ignore anything else that person will ever say, because it's not going to be worth hearing
>>
>>217368005
only of the only episodes from a modern anthology series that stuck in my mind was 'a view through a window' in the series Night Visions. don't read spoilers or anything.
felt more like a 1995 outer limits episode.
black mirror people kept telling me to watch and the few episodes I have seen of it were either mediocre or awful, but with no intelligence or sharpness to them in the slightest.
quite a lot of the original twilight zone episodes can function as observations of a specific feeling or part of life that's rarely expressed, some almost allegories useful for modern concepts.
of course a lot of the background of the more obvious episodes are the cold war, and various other themes of the time.

I would say that those who participate in this should be judged even more harshly than this whore. Not by women, but by other men. Like, dude, don't you have any self-respect? You're rubbing your dick against a hole full of someone else's cum, helping some slut build her whore reputation, and for what? This shit show is meant to showcase how valuable a vagina is, that a thousand losers are willing to fuck at least one. Not to mention how much they inflate the price of a vagina = women's sense of self-worth.

And no, it's not the same as fucking a regular chick who's had, say, 100 guys. The only way to look at it is, “Well, it's like a scientific experiment...” But that's bullshit.

It's pretty much the premise of Shokugeki no Soma for the first few volumes. I can't claim I've watched its anime adaptation, but the manga is genuinely fun and similar to
>arrives in a kitchen academy to prove he's the best
>must compete in a 1-v-1 against some other accomplished chef
>the academy staff determine the rules
>the dishes are made from secret ingredient
>the dishes are served to ~3 judges
>the winner is the chef who creates the best dish

Fore-warning!
As much as I endorse how fun "Shokugeki no Soma" is... it cripples itself within a dozen volumes. "Iron Chef" is incomparable with how high quality it remains, consistently, through its entire run as a Japanese television program. The manga/anime I suggest? Not so much. Concept is close and it's certainly fun for a while at the start.
>>
>>217367553
To be fair, the English dubbing that got broadcast is only, like, 1/3rd the entire episode count of the Japanese broadcasting.

>Michiba > Sakai > Chen >>> Morimoto = Kobe

Michiba is obviously number #1 because Japanese give elders maximum respect, and of course Iron Chef Japanese has to be number 1 on a Japanese show. And it's funny because you have several episodes of challengers saying "My cooking school must take down Michiba! It's for honor!!"

Sakai is the middle age veteran warrior. Definitely #2. He's also trained in French which is very popular around the world for sophistication and wonderful taste.

Chen, at least during filming the show, was fairly young. So he's a kid in my eyes. A spunky young iron chef with fiery and spicy Chinese cuisine.

Morimoto was the Michiba replacement. He was experimental with some of his Japanese food designs and many cooks from the conservative faction hated him.

Kobe was like a junior Iron Chef. Didn't he lose his first debut battle? I remember there was one episode where they said the Chairman wasn't happy with Kobe and he needs to get a win or the Chairman will be displeased. Kobe eventually grew on me.

DON'T watch House of the Dragon. HBO done fucked with our boy and lad, George R.R. Martin.
>“It’s worse than rocky, it’s abysmal. I hired Ryan. I thought Ryan and I were partners. And we were all through the first season. I would read early drafts of the scripts. I would give notes. He would change some things. It was working really well — I thought.”
>When Ryan came to loggerheads with original Dragon co-showrunner Miguel Sapochnik, Ryan asked for Martin’s support in their dispute, and got it (Sapochnik left the show after season one).
>“Then we got into season two, and he basically stopped listening to me. I would give notes, and nothing would happen. Sometimes he would explain why he wasn’t doing it. Other times, he would tell me, ‘Oh, OK, yeah, I’ll think about that.’ It got worse and worse, and I began to get more and more annoyed. Finally, it got to a point where I was told by HBO that I should submit all my notes to them and they would give Ryan our combined notes.”
>Martin says he can’t say anything beyond this. But sources say Martin and Condal’s relationship deteriorated further and came to a head during a Zoom call with the show’s producers and some HBO executives. The purpose of the call was for Condal to present his vision for season three. After Condal spoke, Martin detailed his many objections and allegedly declared, “This is not my story any longer.”
>After their contentious Zoom call, HBO asked Martin to step back from Dragon altogether. A few months later, the author was brought back aboard. “I can’t talk about it,” Martin says.
>“George and Ryan had a disagreement on the direction of season three,” an HBO insider says. “At that point, it was clear that the process and communication with them was broken and needed a reset. So there was naturally a period where everyone took a step back for a while until we could figure out a new way forward.”

>Approximately 19 years after the end of the original series, Malcolm now lives a happy life with his daughter Leah and girlfriend Tristan, having purposely distanced himself from his birth family. He is forced to bring them into the family's chaos when his parents Hal and Lois demand his presence for their 40th wedding anniversary party.
Wasn't Malcom like 18 or 16 or something in the final? He's the middle child. There's no way Francis was under 18 considering Reece was an adult at the end of the show. Did the parents have Francis out of wedlock or something?
