You're not too late to get your 16GB card, are you?
>>731135492>130W tdpdamn, wish nvidia still made 75W cards
If they ever make a new line up then I'll probably just finally go for xx90 card despite what will most likely be the most absurd price point we've ever seen. At least then I have pretty good resale value and can just keep doing that for each new flagship card. But I think if they do make a new lineup this will probably be one of the last two lineups before they really start to force cloud shit.

Stop playing online grindslop and go through your backlog.
>>731128991Unironically used be addicted to Destiny 2, and for the first time in years my PSN report came back with Death Stranding 2 as my most played game last year. Im so happy to be free from that dogshit game.
>>731133638People who compete online do so because their net worth is measured in negative, but still strive to be better in something than others. They lack any IRL skil which can be turned into money. Combine this with a lot of free time, and you get a clear reason why trannies, uggos, retail workers etc types are so attracted to this environment. Because its the only playground they can taste victory and allowed to compete.Things only change if you make money with it, but that doesn't apply to 98% of those who do this, including you.
Being a good for nothing NEET I wouldn't mind playing a grindslop game but I still require them to have actually good gameplay which none of them have.

Gacha games with gameplay are the biggest traps ever. You're supposed to autobattle or sweep your dailies quickly and then go play actual real games. The gameplay in gameplay-focused gachas will always be an illusion because it's just stat check behind stat check with combat design around mobile controls
Why aren't you playing QuakeWorld? It is the superior multiplayer gaming experience for your computer.
>>731135723I have no idea how to bhop/gain speed in Quake. I figured out how to go faster/further on the first jump by doing some weird diagonal half circle "wind up" with the mouse but that is obviously impossible to do on consecutive jumps. I also keep defaulting to what l'm doing in source

>>731136262Well l can't get it to work
Should I play this?
>>731134648It was may GotY, I still play it now, just understand that a core part of the gameplay is grinding. You will be doing the same missions over and over, especially when you get to end game. What I suggest to do to make the grind less tedious. Assuming you want to actually fully level up every character.Grind all the way to proud until you get your terminus weapon for your main. Then start playing with the other characters, levelling them up to proud and get their weapons. If not you can end up stomping the game with your main rather than playing with each character on the lower levels. What I am saying means you will play the game in variety doing all the missions with each character doing the missions at least once per character rather than just doing everything with one character.Doesnt matter, just a trap I fell into as I played on release and grinded with 1 character playing online so by the time I go around to levelling the other characters weapons etc I hadnt really played with them and they were already OP for the majority of the content.
>>731134648yes, the combat is fun, but pick the girl or enjoy getting cucked during the story
>>731134648It has 2 towns.
I enjoyed it a lot. But I'm a formed GBF battered housewife so I had a bit of a bias. Still a very enjoyable game even without knowing GBF I think.
>>731134648Amazing game to play while I waited for the nightreign DLC.It's a stupid grindfest that makes you go over and over and over the same kind of fights, not even missions. It's all boss fights. Which is fine for some I guess, but there's barely anything for me to keep playing because it's so insanely grindy. The game went from 2/10 to 7/10 the moment it let me recruit my favourite character, so I hope your favourite is in.
The lack of high resolution of the 5th and 6th gen gave those games an air of mystery and exploration, as they were filled to the brim with easter eggs, references, and other obscure and esoteric imagery added for fun that you couldn't immediately discern and identify. Small secrets designed to invoke curiosity and certain moods and thoughts.Players perceived the game worlds as a whole, through in-game cinematography and environmental storytelling rather than focusing on individual elements. All this gave way to urban legends, myths, and speculations. Those were the fun days.Modern games, on the other hand, are plastered with text and imagery on every surface that you're supposed to look at. That’s the new way of feeding your information. You don’t have to look at the larger picture anymore, just closely following the obvious is enough. By flaunting its high resolution games lost that sense of mystique. There are no more urban legends. Nobody is talking or speculating about games beyond the initial market hype. There is no more place for someone to go “is that…”Sometimes less is more.

>>731135660I just watched the whole sequence yesterday and most of the things he talks about are his travels and jerking off to bathmaids. But all chuds talk about is "nooo, he said they used more spices in granada, that means he's in the game to shit on European culture, waaaaah"
>>731136415Makes no sense to me why grenada would get more spices than the rest of europe when the major trade routes for spices came from the silk road.
Now that the dust has settled, what did we think of it?
The actual problem with this game is the story, or rather, Lace. Everything else goes from fine to great.
The third act retroactively poisons the rest of the game and it fucking sucks.
Dusty old bones full of green dust
Yesterday I quit the game at the final boss. I had already made several attempts and was starting to get the hang of it, but the whole game was such an unpleasant and abrasive experience that I asked myself if it was worth wasting another hour on it.Karmelita was amazing, though.

>>731128704its giving them something new-ish and isn't trying to shove politics down their throat.that alone was gonna get people interested into it.I am even seeing some true oldfags of minecraft getting into it like ethoslabs.Let it happen and see where they go with it.Most of us are bitter and jaded for a VERY GOOD set of reasons, but don't let it get too far.Its probably gonna get pozzed the fuck up with microtransactions as people said, so if that does happen we can shit all over it then.anyways.minecraft modding takes a modicum of effort at the least, and a lot of effort at the worst to patch a custom modpack. Vintage story is focused on a specific vein of survival that makes it already niche, and the mods only increase that... while also requiring some effort to patch.A game that offers something different to vanilla minecraft on its own is gonna appeal to a lot of normies that are too scared, lazy, or ignorant to spice things up with mods in minecraft.

>>731132526Majora's Mask is style over substanceOoT is just a better overall gameplay experienceI really like the art and sound direction of MM, but OoT is more fun and enjoyable
The first 40 minutes of Majora's Mask are basically the whole of what I remember about it. I love how casually the Moon is introduced, because you may just look up yourself or you will notice the first NPC that talks about it at any moment, and go>Huh. Can I see the moon-- Oh shit!Yes, especially the 3DS boxart has it on it, but I distinctly remember when this was just referred to as "Zelda 2" by people who had an N64, you really didn't know anything about the game beyond that cover, and you'd start playing it, and you'd exit the tutorial and be like "fuck that's scary." and then realize it's actually moving. That's what the Majora's Mask experience is for, and then all the side-quests that co-exist with the doomsday plot. The main plot is more of a short-story than OoT's and honestly a lot weaker. (It's just about friendship and bullying, and much less existential)OoT is a more full-rounded experience with a really satisfying and climactic finale. I also prefer all of the dungeons in OoT to the ones in Majora's Mask. I also prefer Hyrule Field to Termina Field, but I do enjoy the 4 locations in MM.
>>731134682I'm not reading all that
why does this keep happening?
>>731128638Let me put it as simple as I can so even a low IQ inbred like you from the third world can understand. The original source material is what people are fans of and what made the existence of an adaption possible, you respect the source material by adapting it faithfully and the fans will repay you in kind. That's it.If you don't respect the source material and adapt it into something that is completely original while still skin walking using the original name and franchise then you are not respecting the source material, not respecting the fans and you will fail.
>>731128246>retards thinking their ideas are better than the source materialThe source material isn't always great but ignoring it is a sure sign of vanity and arrogance, stupidity as well.>>731128286Then call it shootyman and wandyman instead of halo and harrey pottah and see how well it does commercially without the brand name. Them using the brand name is the clue that they want unearned attention instead of their work standing on its own feet.
