I'm in like multiple friend groups and I've also watched multiple friend groups crash and burn out of drama so many times it's unreal. I have long time friends I've known from my PS3 days that to this day still hang out and chat, I have my own group I made where I only invite people I'm close with and won't exactly cause drama, are some irl friends etc and other communities that I dabble with from time to time. Making your own discord and only inviting specific people is legitimately the way to go because I swear the rot for a group starts slowly and you have to be prepared to get the fuck out eventually unless you make your own.
