I personally enjoyed the option of quicker traversal in TotK. If I wanted to get to a destination faster I could, if I didn't and wanted to soak in the atmosphere simply didn't. I will concede that the underground was a slog but that wasn't enough to detract from my entire experience. I'm not going to sit and tell you TotK is a S tier experience. I personally think BotW is a B tier game, while TotK is lower on the A side.
