it works
it has virtual keyboard for tty which is unfathomably based

I ain't doing shit my nigga, it works now, I'm done. I even got a new gpu in the mail today and I am not installing that shit because I have spent enough of my precious day off fucking with this computer.
>>
>>107801869
you mean sxmo?
this shit is aids at the beginning and default keyboard is unusable but once you get the l44t h4x0r keyboard of some kind it can suddenly replace your other devices
esp. if you get bluetooth keyboard as an addition to the virtual one and there are drivers for your bluetooth
shit basically becomes laptop without usb ports, you can straight up start developing your projects on that thing like you would on a laptop

oh and i almost forgot: hooks
yes they do reveal a horrifying truth: that this whole thing is just a bunch of bash scripts in a trench coat

You can make the client open quietly in the background
You can't do anything about the updates and UI, as far as I know

7. Emotionally, Chaossque feels like Nexuiz never died

This is the part that matters most.

When you play Chaossque, you don’t feel like you’re playing a fork or a reinterpretation.

You feel like you’re playing:

Nexuiz 4.0

Nexuiz in an alternate universe

Nexuiz if it kept growing

Nexuiz if the modders took over

Supposedly it's one of the more prescient series, and politically-poisoned fans turned against the lead writer of the series because he wrote a Digimon stage play with the original seiyuu revolving around political correctness corrupting the internet or something of that nature.

Anything I need to know about setting up character cards that focus on representing a full setting rather than a single character? Is it worth the effort, or should I just throw a ton of characters into a group chat instead?

1. Just write 'This description about this erp scenario/story bacgkround, setting, etc`
2. Put the char def on WI, but mention its name on card/def or foreshadow/hint on intro
3. Use the macros {{outlet::char1}}, {{outlet::char2}} from WI and place them in your prompt. This means you may need to adjust your presexxx.json file as well. After all, most presets out there have statically defined prompts like “You will be {{char}}, bitch.” That's not really what you want, is it? Indeed, those presetmakie bastards are a bunch of bitches.
4. Make new prompt, can be toggle off, when you switch to singular/individual (the fuck is the right term…) card
{{//Note: It just a matter of your wordsmith choice. Something like "Girls, listen to me, mkkay??? Below is the overall setting of this RP. Got it?????"}}
{{description}}
{{trim}}
{{personality}}
---
Description of characters that appeared or were mentioned:
{{outlet::char1}}
{{outlet::char2}}

>put linux mint 22.2 on USB key with rufus
>boot
>open GUI software manager from the start menu
>write "steam" in the search bar, click on the install button
>error message
>try to uninstall a random software with "rightclick, uninstall" from the start menu (one of the libre office applications)
>another error message
I eventually got steam working by using a flatpak, and I uninstalled successfully the same libre office app after rebooting. But both failed my tests on the first attempt. I noticed a lot of improvements since I tried linux 10 years ago but it's sad that it still feels like beta software nonetheless. And linux mint is supposed to be the most polished non-technical oriented user-friendly distro.
