Lol, that's good. From my tests seems to a really weird assortment that I don't really get, can't do most big cartoons like simpsons, family guy but can do teen titans go, adventure time, rick and morty (sort of, not super consistent), steven's universe (you have to describe the characters for it to work). Maybe we have to find some cartoon popularity list from Israel lol

Why do you need 24GB of VRAM? What will you do with it that 16GB can't? Most people don't need more than 12 and you NEET highschool dropout hobbyists can get by just fine with 8GB for your projects and old games.

This NEET here just upgraded from a 8 GB RX 6600 to a 9060 XT 16 GB and I can finally play games without lag and dropping quality to low..

Fuck off. Just played Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Space Marine 2, Alan Wake 2, Expedition 33, Atomfall and Silent Hill F and they were fucking great. My old pc shat itself when I tried them even on low settings with fake frames and shit.

No and I don't intend to. I have enough cash to go a few years without working. After that, I have enough investments to go for 10-20 years depending on how bad the market crashes. After that, I can start tapping into my retirement accounts.
Though some recruiters have been cold-messaging me, from legit companies too. Not even Indian recruiters. So idk what I'll do.

Besides the fact that its low powered and cute n tiny. Whats the advantage of buying a raspberry pi for $160 versus buying something like a used hp elitedesk g3 for less than $100? Why pay more for less computing power? Besides people out there living off the grid trying to conserve power, i dont understand the point of these things

Archlinux got a BIG donation, to replace pacman with a rust rewrite "ALPM".

>>
>>107854169
>One Question: Why?
It's pretty fucking simple. Somebody who likes writing Rust as a hobby knows somebody working for the government so they set up a fake contract to siphon the taxpayer money. It literally happens in every sector of the government. It's just a way to get some of the govt funds to your friends/family.
>>
>>107854376
>knows somebody working for the government
Too generous. The someone in question is likely working in government themselves. In the civil service it's called "working off the side of your desk." It's where you have insider knowledge of government requirements for a contract and nail the bid to a tee, or are somehow able to create government contracts and give them to a company owned by yourself. Happens in most western countries. In Canada a guy working for the federal government got them to pay him $50 million to make a web front end that added a single column to a database. Ended up turning into a bit of a scandal when another company proved that they could have made it in a matter of a couple days for a few thousand dollars if the bidding hadn't been restricted. Seems like half of Ottawa's politicians and civil service were involved in some kind of healthcare start up or another during covid too.
I'm sure this is just a less egregious version of that. Some government worker finagling xerself a contract.
>>

luddites can never explain why rewriting in Rust is such a big deal, it's not like they can stop you from maintaining and using pacman, sure, they might add some breaking changes, but you aren't a nocoder and can update pacman to support that, or are you? Because if you are incapable of maintaining pacman, yiur opinion on this is worthless. You were eating shit from arch for decades but now one irrelevant thing changes and you get mad.

Mostly because I just fundamentally disagree with the licensing model. I don't care that it costs money, I don't support differentiating based on how many HDDs you have hooked up or any other random bullshit like that.
The software itself is fine. I prefer the proxmox ZFS version but if you're fine with the licensing and the money go ahead, it seems pretty retard proof from what I've seen.

I don't understand, why isn't Microsoft using AI to update the signature database dynamically??
What the fuck are they doing still manually "pushing" out updates, they need to use AI to dynamically update the system in real time and make the dynamic changes. The code needs to live and breathe as a living entity. This is the future we were promised. AI is supposed to fix these issues. This isn't Windows XP or Windows 7 anymore. The mere concept of... installing an update... like dude what the fuck get with the times Microsoft.

Don't buy anything OTHER THAN IBM/Lenovo ThinkPad T, X, and W/P Series if you want the Real Business Experience™
>Other business laptops are welcome in /tpg/ (Dell Latitude/Precision, HP EliteBook/ZBook)

Why ThinkPad?
>Used machines are plentiful and cheap
>Excellent keyboards, tactile feel and quiet + the TrackPoint
>Great durability: magnesium roll cage for structural integrity, with high quality plastic body panels
>Utilitarian design: e.g. indicator LEDs, 7 row keyboard layout on older models
>Docking stations that easily turns your laptop into a desktop
>Easy to repair (most models), upgrade & maintain thanks to readily available service manuals for every model, spare parts easy & cheap to obtain
>Excellent Linux & *BSD support

I have the actual genuine keyboard this is based on that includes the win key instead of the other one that doesnt have it and comes with the ibm logo
I dont really use it much and it feels lighter than the keyboard on the x220 and also a specific combination of win + shift + right seems to not work while all 3 of those keys individually work fine
I'm curious if the tex shinobi feels better than the genuine lenovo one or not. I heard that middle button where mousewheel up/down is supposed to be doesnt actually work properly as a mousewheel like the regular thinkpad keyboard would
>>107827945
Honestly if i wanted a numpad i would just get a separate standalone one that can be placed like on the other side of the mouse and mousepad instead of increasing the distance between the kb and mouse

>Song submission rules/guidelines
Upload the file somewhere, preferably in a lossless format, and post the link here. If you want to update your track, make a new post.
Include the song title in the post, and make it clear that your song is a submission for the album.
Optionally you may include cover art for your track, but please confirm that the image in your post is the cover art or it won't be included. You may not use your real artist name.
Songs that contain anything against YouTube's policies won't be uploaded on YT, but will still be added to the album.
By default, tracks will be normalised to -14 LUFS (integrated loudness) in the release. You may specify a lower loudness for your track.
Use of AI is banned. This includes AI generated stems, samples, and effects. "AI" includes all neural network-based models and not hard-coded automation/procedural generation. You are allowed to ask an LLM about music-related questions, but asking it to give you musical ideas (eg. generating a chord progression) is already a no-no.
