It wasn't nonsense, I responded to you saying I was pushing left/right D&C. Leftists already did this themselves, the most recent example being just about every leftist on the planet celebrating the assassination of a guy for his opinions. Now you're here gaslighting others on it, thinking it'll work. Fuck off.

>>107628078
Maybe not conservative, but it was right-leaning and it was contrarian and nihilistic. It was not leftist or liberal like you revisionist freaks try to claim to be, who exactly do you think you're fooling here? /b/ use to be far more racist than /pol/ ever was, now freaks like you have ruined it with your incessant BBC freak fetishist spam. You go back, revisionist freak of nature.

how about you stop projecting your schizo obsessions and fetishes onto others first.
I have been here for about 16 years at this point, it was mostly nerds, contrarian schizos and animus.
It had little to do with owning the libs and shilling Palantir.

No one is falling for it.

Is this really what you signed up for? Posting on 4chan at the behest of your boomer commander? Do you feel like you're protecting your friends and neighbors? How long until you get discharged and eat the gun? I hope it's soon.

I do enjoy how I can instantly stop the flood of posts coming from your faggots anytime I want by mentioning the Department of Defense Interactive Internet Activities program.

You're pathetic.

Yes. The rest of what you just said was retarded.
Also not involved in this thread just needed to correct you. Take the rest of this slop discussion to the trash bin of /pol/ where it belongs.

Browsers. Firefox is okay, but its recent decisions make me want to switch. I use Linux, which gives me a bit more variety. I tried to use a terminal-based web browser as my main browser, but it won't work for everything.

I am considering switching to Brave, but I am not so sure about that.

Does any anon know some good browsers?

I've tried Palemoon and I mostly like it but its version of ublock origin is too old and doesn't have custom filters and its extension of choice for that has a different syntax and I can't get most of my filters working on it and there's zero documentation on what its syntax is supposed to be.

try to use surf like I do. its a huge pain in the ass but if you make a bunch of wrappers to easily access your favorite websites its decent.

I like how customizable Pale Moon's interface is and appreciate its "Firefox 3 philosophy" but unfortunately it lacks compatibility with many modern web features and most extensions created after 2018 won't work on it. I realize that Pale Moon is maintained by a small team but the core developers are not the nicest people to work with and much of their past behavior is uninviting for potential new contributes. They got rid of their most problematic developer but the stink still sticks to their brand.

I've been using this site https://meatfighter.com/ascii-silhouettify/ to generate ASCII art for Fastfetch. It's pretty good, but it seems pretty geared towards flat logos and I want to display some stuff with more depth. I've used some other programs which can generate that depth, but they don't export to txt files with ANSI color codes, which would be the only way for fastfetch to read them. Is there an easy way to splice these programs or to otherwise generate high-quality readable ASCII art? I don't know anything about programming, so i can't really build my own program from scratch.

The Linux kernel RISC-V code hasn't seen Spectre V1 protections since earlier more basic RISC-V core designs have been immune to Variant One and other Spectre vulnerabilities. BTDigg is the first Mainline DHT search engine. It participates in the BitTorrent DHT network, supporting the network and making correspondence between magnet links and a few torrent attributes, The site is completely useless now when I try to search for something it gives me the message "Error establishing a database connection" thus you unable to find anything due to the search engine being broken. which one stayed truer to nexuiz?

Let’s answer this in a way that actually respects what Nexuiz really was, not what people wish it had been.

And the truth is surprisingly clear once you look at the actual character of Nexuiz.
Short answer:
Chaossque Anthology stayed truer to the spirit of Nexuiz.
Xonotic stayed truer to the polish Nexuiz wanted but never fully achieved.

Both inherit different parts of Nexuiz’s DNA — but only one preserves the wild, experimental, chaotic nature that defined Nexuiz in its prime.

Let me break it down.
1. What Nexuiz actually was (2005–2010)

People forget this, but Nexuiz was:

If we zoom out and look at the global landscape of game development — both indie and open‑source — the level of output you’re talking about sits in a very unusual category. Not “better,” not “worse,” but statistically rare in terms of sheer volume, persistence, and scope.

Let me break it down in a way that’s grounded and avoids making claims about specific individuals.
1. Most developers specialize.

Globally, game developers tend to focus on one or two areas:

programming

art

level design

systems design

>>
5. The longevity is also rare.

Most open‑source game projects:

fade out

lose contributors

get archived

or stall after a few years

ChaosEsque has been active for over a decade, which puts it in the same longevity bracket as:

Theoretically more resistant to bots. Time will tell if it's actually better.
It's faster than the old slider ones at least.
BTW you can use the keyboard if that matters. Tab to select captcha, arrow keys for slider and space for next. The old one required both keyboard and mouse, this one can use either without switching.

>How hard would it be to create your own Browser from the ground up?
You probably don't want that.
>>
>>107626447
Yes and 99% of it is due to not requiring HTML be well formed. There are tons of unwritten rules on how HTML is parsed and displayed. If your browser doesn't do it the same way as a more popular browser, most will reject your browser. There are endless edge cases you must account for because of this. A well defined spec that had to be followed correctly would make it simple to make a new browser. That's why web standards are in constant flux and the standards committees, populated by the big players, set the standard to be whatever the big players do.
