Nothing, but booting from a USB is a lot easier than disassembling a laptop. Also doesn't leave behind any traces

For me, it's more about determining the minimum amount of data and the composition required to train an LLM from scratch to exhibit basic intelligence and common sense rather than creating a model useful in practice. Random web data isn't useful for that.

i'm pretty fucking sure you can't eq 15$ koss so that they have sub-bass, unless you get into distortion/clipping territory, they are like the most open open-backs you can get, no seal whatsoever, getting sub-bass is physically impossible under such circumstance.

In 2018 I bought a slightly used (about a month) LG V30 for about 300 euro. I've been using it ever since, and it has met all my needs. The sound quality -- both from the built-in speakers and the 3.5mm analog output -- is excellent. It's not bulky or impractically large, and the build quality is outstanding. It looks great, offers expandable storage (to store my music), and I can still get through an entire day on a single charge.

Why can't they make anything like that anymore? I've been looking at recent flagships, and every single one feels like a downgrade -- aside from having the latest specs. There's no expandable storage; instead, they expect you to pay hundreds more for extra internal storage. And if you want to listen to music with wired headphones, you’re stuck carrying around a bulky DAC dongle.

So, what are the options in 2025? It seems like the only viable choices are the Sony Xperia 5 series or the Asus Zenfone (up to the 10th edition). But both have been discontinued, and the Xperia barely sold to begin with -- making it really hard to find one.
So, what now -- just surrender? Or am I missing something? Is there anything out there that still meets these basic, reasonable needs?

The name Radio Shack has passed hands a couple of times since the bankruptcy. Even when Radio Shack had thousands of locations, in some places the Radio Shack wasn't owned by the company, it was a local electronics store that was licensed to sell Radio Shack products.
When Radio Shack went out of business, those independent dealers stayed in business because they were never owned by the company. Some of them continued to sell whatever stock of Radio Shack merch they had and then eventually took the name off their sign. Others loaded up with Radio Shack merch that was sold in the bankruptcy sale. At one point some of the dealers were talking about forming a co-op to have new products produced to replenish their dwindling stocks but I'm not sure if that happened or not as it would mean licensing the name from the current owner.
All of that is a long about way of saying that it is still possible to buy Radio Shack stuff at a Radio Shack dealer, if you can find one in your area.

I am feeling the urge to libreboot a t480, but of course a laptop isn't all that I need. I also need a workstation, which will be most likely not librebootable, a have an old laptop for a server, which is of course not librebootable. Some TLD's cannot be registered at 3rd party registrars.
Especially the 2 letter ones belonging to a country.
There might even be a policy where you have to be a resident of the country or at least have legitimate business there.
Every country can make their own rules when it comes to their TLD.

Don't know about .im though.
>>
>>106516431
You can see at what date a domain was first registered.
So it should be easy to find out if they do this.

Let me guess you said something bad to your politicians?

Software companies claim that generative AI is greatly boosting productivity, so where are the results of this? We should be seeing vastly improved software with new features being added at a faster pace, more frequent releases, and less bugs. Has anyone actually seen an example of this happening with any software?
