Everyone I know that watches LTT is a normie. Sometimes they ask me if I've seen x video and what I thought, invariably it's like 20% decent info you can get from reddit and 80% slop.
His house automation stuff seemed like a cool idea at first but quickly turned into "how much tech bullshit can I stuff in my house for free with sponsorships". I liked the homelab content at first but he's too rich to be relatable and too retarded to be educational. Level1techs at least is educational but most of the videos are a waste of time to watch and should be a forum post.

sadly true, i was looking for a reasonable replacement for me and the bois when the whole eu law and discord getting nuked,
my first choice was
revolt.chat - good but that shit forces you to use the desktop app which requires compiling on an x86
strafe.chat , rocket.chat , spacebar.chat had problems deploying them on my pi cluster
and finally ended with element.io which is less game but has the basic features of discord that our group wants.

I have the feeling, that the golden age of dumbphones is over. Everything what is produced today is quality wise not comparable to phones from back in the day. Be it battery lifetime, build quality and other small details. I noticed that dumbphones from today (even from Nokia) have a lot of design flaws, which would be back than intolerable.

Shit happens no matter how careful you are and some people, like military personnel, LEO and outdoorsmen, need rugged devices for emegencies. No, but people who come here to ask "Should I, bros?" over a cheap dumbphone purchase do.

Those people you have described already know they need rugged shit and don't have to ask /g/ for their (usually shitty) opinion.

>>
>>106473851
Same. Love me some fucking Steve, some of the silly shit he does is hilarious.
Oh, this guy renamed his channel, I was wondering what his name was, I remember watching a few of this guys videos a while back
https://www.youtube.com/@jarrodtoccitours/videos
He had some fancy ass stealth camper.

The thing I always have issue with in stealth campers though is more of a personal taste thing for me - so many of them are open, meaning less useful and efficient space yse.
Fine for the average person who hates cramped spaces, but I'd be perfectly fine with those cramped spaces if it gave me more function in said space.
You bet your ass I am having a bed as close to the ceiling as I can get. I will sleep in the bed coffin!
I remember seeing some guy build a neat looking bed descending mechanism to make better use of the space. The table and seats below could also become a bed as well, 2 double beds if needed.

>>106473174
For that you'd need to have some decent venting.
Having a whole roof that could open up but prevent water breaching in could be great for those hot climates. Having some mechanism to lift the entire roof up (outside of the frame) would be especially good as you could create more vertical space in the back. Of course, much more expensive and depending on the region, you may need to pass that by your road regulators to see if it is all fine structurally for insurance, etc.

>Blur -> Sharpen -> Feed model
>Poisoned data behaves similarly to steganography - tiny incomprehensible changes to exact pixel values carry meaningful information. Loosing the exact pixel values loosed the data, in this case - the poison.
>This defeats all adversarial models, on a conceptual level. The only slight downside is the cost of blurring the image - however, that’s negligible when compared to the cost of actually training the model (both tasks are efficient to do on a GPU or a TPU, so no extra equipment is required).
that requires you to do it to all input images though.

>>106475184

>>
>>106475254
it's very easy to do batch operations on files. A blur -> sharpen pass is two lines of shell scripting, and takes about 2s per file.
>>
>>106465465

>>106471024

>>
>>106475254
I already addressed that - the cost of blurring is negligible on a GPU/TPU, which you would have anyway because you’re training an AI model. Besides, blur+sharpen is just an oversimplified example to avoid derailing the thread into a technical discussion - in practice, cheaper and more reliable methods of removing the adversarial noise do exist.
Furthermore, you would only have to clean poisoned data. Even assuming no cheap detection method exists, you could safely clean only the images scraped from likely poisoned sources. Assuming your heuristic is mostly reliable, model quality wouldn’t be significantly affected even if many artists start doing this, which they won’t.
In practice, adversarial noise is only effective against uninformed hobbyists training a LoRA against a specific artist who uses it.

Theoretically, can you completely de-India your computer by only using software without any Indian commits? Linus removed all Russian code from the Linux kernel, so something like this is certainly doable.

What's a good base to start with for building a non-Indian OS under a free licence? Arch?

>>106475004
Two reasons: firstly higher pitched sounds are always harder to block (don't ask me why, but something about the higher frequences makes them much harder to match exactly), and rapidly changing sounds are also much harder to block - since the active mechanism has to itself process the sound, generate an inverse soundwave and then generate it from the speakers, there's inherent lag in this. Works perfectly fine for uniform drones (like engine noise, to some degree background crowd chatter or engine noise), speech is a constantly varying sound and even a tiny bit of lag would result in the inverse waveform always lagging behind the real sound and therefore never quite cancelling it properly.
