The only retard is the person who doesn't understand what a comparative advantage is. The middle mouse button has a comparative advantage in navigation: the mouse is already used for navigation and other non-destructive inputs. Putting destructive inputs like copying and pasting right where they can and will be easily misfired is not good UX by any metric; the mouse should be used for mouse functions and any destructive inputs must be intentional.

Given you already have your left hand rested on the keyboard, why not just copy with Ctrl+C and paste with Ctrl+V, allowing the middle mouse button specialise in its comparative advantage? Whatever "efficiency" there is with X11 style copying & pasting is completely overshadowed by the opportunity cost: accidental inputs, losing out on drag-to-scroll, and losing out on other navigation functions.
>>
>>107810501
>Given you already have your left hand rested on the keyboard
retarded assumption, middle-click paste excels at mouse-only navigation
also, having two different clipboards is pretty useful
>accidental inputs
literally how are you doing this
>losing out on drag-to-scroll
you don't lose drag-to-scroll, you can use both
>losing out on other navigation functions.
what other navigation functions even are there
>>
>>107810501
>The middle mouse button has a comparative advantage in navigation
>why not just copy with Ctrl+C and paste with Ctrl+V
this isn't about "one or the other" feature, you absolute retard. I've used both. you CAN use both at the same time.

thanks for proving my point, btw. you are yet another retard. you could have tried things yourself before even responding, but you decided to argue against me for no reason whatsoever.

Maybe buy tokens from z.ai. It is almost as powerful as Claude and costs only $3 a month.

Also, you can use Antigravity, which includes a few free Opus tokens paid for by Google.

When your tokens run out use Grok via the web UI.

Also, there are a few free tokens from ChatGPT.

Use Opus to plan and Gemini 3.0 Flash to implement the plan.

Also use shadcnn, Figma, etc. for CSS.

To plan, use a free site to make mermaid UML diagrams. Iterate by hand, and then, if youare satisfied, generate it as code.

desu if I was president I would make
a new operating system that just werks with no ads or bullshit
a new web browser that just werks with no ads or bullshit
no NSA backdoors etc whole thing is open source
pros:
>job program for unemployed tech workers
>make life better for business
>make life better for gaymers
>we could all finally forget about Linux
>solidifies america as the best country in case anyone doubted it
>also I would hang bill gates but only after my OS pushes microsoft into bankruptcy
>also drone strikes on scam call centers in foreign countries ( we declare war on scammers )
cons:
>could get hacked, no matter how hard we try someone could still find an exploit maybe

So, I recently switched back to Gentoo after spending the last 10 years on Debian.
I currently am running the hardened musl profile, wayland only, -O2, pie.

I was looking at the wiki and see that LibreSSL in gentoo is deprecated, except in an overlay. And there seems to be an opinion thag LibreSSL is mostly unmeeded nowadays.

What do you think? The most common weakpoint is usually a web browser in security, it's the most attacked one, and firefox is compiled against NSS, (neither Libre/OpenSSL).

Most of my shit runs in rootless podman alpine containers, too...

It's not worth it to hunt for patches to make things compile with LibreSSL.

i made a master template for a long fall boot, this can also serve as the base of an exoskeleton.

heres the basic(and entire) idea

>boot platform(red) - this is what you strap yourself into. the boot platform(red) is connected to the top eyelets of the shocks(green). this is the platform you stand on that absorbs the most acute impact that would otherwise break your foot/ankle.

mechanized outsole(blue) - the mechanized outsole is the part of the boot that contacts the ground. you can design any kind of outsole you want that has its own springs and shock system for different types of action. the outsole(blue) is connected to the bottom eyelets of the shocks(green)

>shocks(green) - the boot platform(red) has a wall at the heel that allows the rear shock to be attached without risk of pinching you. there are 2 front shocks, one on each side not shown in the 2d image.

this is simply a master template mostly for the boot platform. you can design any outsole you want. my next post will show how to put disk brakes on the knees and use a servo to actuate them during a fall to further absorb the force and save your legs.
>>
[ADDITIONAL INFO}
>the shocks are mountain bike rear air shocks. the rear shock of the boot depicted is a FOX DHX 5.0. the front shock depicted is a DNM 210x55mm air shock.

Hello investors, Cave Johnson here. Now I know you've sunk a lot of money into the dual portal device. But I'm here to tell you we're not banging rocks together over here. We know how to make a quantum space hole. Caroline?
See, portal here, portal there... Heh heh! Look at this thing go!
Now, we have run into a reproducible human error problem: a lot of expensive equipment getting broken. But don't worry, Cave took care of it.
Gentlemen, I give you the Long Fall Boot. Think of it as foot-based suit of armor for the Portal Device. I'm not gonna lie to you, it's expensive as hell. But check this out: we told this Test Subject to just go ahead and try to land on her head. Heh heh! She can't do it! Good work, boots.
So anyway, we're between banks right now, just make those checks out to cash. Cave Johnson, we're done here.

To be clearer, I was expecting a much better imaging in video games. I saw no difference in bf6 (the sounds localization is kind of shit in this game anyway). However, the occasional missing sounds are much easier to spot; the PC350 is so old that I lost a lot of details, making it sometimes hard to miss such bugs.
I slightly increased the bass using an EQ: It's fine now, for music.
