Tor and I2P websites are fundamentally tied to a "server (site) - client (user)" structure, making them highly vulnerable to censorship. If the site goes down, all content disappears.

Upon learning about Hyphanet's FMS (Freenet Message System) and Frost-Next, I was initially impressed by the possibility of a serverless, decentralized forum. However, I soon realized that Hyphanet itself offered less anonymity than I'd expected. In particular, I questioned the practical value of Hyphanet's Darknet mode.

Ultimately, due to Hyphanet's inherent limitations, I had to seek out alternatives.

I discovered Syndie and researched it. I learned that jrandom, one of the key developers of I2P, deeply valued Syndie, a decentralized forum program.

Using Syndie, I was truly amazed. It truly embodies the ideal dream of privacy-conscious users.

"An anonymous and uncensored forum."

However, not many people, not even the general public or those concerned about privacy, remember Syndie.

>that are impossible to scale
How can batteries be impossible to scale? If you can make a small battery, you can just put lots of those in series & parallel.
>>
>>107800734
you need to do it fast and cost effectively
if you need the equivalent of a tsmc plant to make some batteries that cost thousands theres no point
>>
>>107800957
I see, you mean scaling the production not scaling the actual batteries.

Looking at Finnish news, Nordic Nano Group, who apparently are responsible for manufacturing these, employed a total of 9 people in September.

What about the motorbike company using their batteries? Those are shipping this quarter, are they exit scamming to that extreme of a degree?

They dont do it that way over here. They make the package in china and then send a single package over here.
But maybe with this law they could start doing it that way instead. I'd assume at least one company would start doing it; they wouldn't leave the money on the table (I hope).
And about the taxes, right now all these sites take the 60% tax automatically on payment and probably register the package it to some goverment database. They probably open all other packages and manually look up the price.

>/g/ makes a 19th album
Theme: [Accepting suggestions]

>Song submission rules/guidelines
Upload the file somewhere, preferably in a lossless format, and post the link here. If you want to update your track, make a new post.
Include the song title in the post, and make it clear that your song is a submission for the album.
Optionally you may include cover art for your track, but please confirm that the image in your post is the cover art or it won't be included. You may not use your real artist name.
Songs that contain anything against YouTube's policies won't be uploaded on YT, but will still be added to the album.
By default, tracks will be normalised to -14 LUFS (integrated loudness) in the release. You may specify a lower loudness for your track.
Use of AI is banned. This includes AI generated stems, samples, and effects. "AI" includes all neural network-based models and not hard-coded automation/procedural generation. You are allowed to ask an LLM about music-related questions, but asking it to give you musical ideas (eg. generating a chord progression) is already a no-no.

Why are NGMIs obsessed with chord progressions? I notice that people obsessed with that aspect of the music never make it. Is it because when brainlet plays a single note he only hears noise, but when he plays a single chord his two neurons identify it as "music" and he becomes fixated on that?

Before, they used to hire Mexicans to solder through-hole components using lead-heavy soldering tin. Since they used huge, but easy-to-replace components that were capable of withstanding large temperature and voltage ranges, you could have the same radio, TV, or calculator working for literally decades. While there were fabrication and assembly errors, most large PCB assembly companies had a set of experienced, relatively well-paid workers who could expect to get hired for many decades.
Nowadays it's all just designed through CAD programs by kids straight off college who know very little about actual manufacturing processes or geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, which is why first-run PCBs often have strong manufacturing defects that come about due to PCB designers' severe lack of knowledge on manufacturers' capacities.
