there are like max 3 different controllers used in such consumer cards anyway should be hard to search which one is the good one.

i think asmedia and jmicron are considered more trash then the others. realtek ones are usually quite hackable so have modded drivers.

jk, I wrap myself up in Saran wrap because it holds and seals well. It might sound like I'm into diapers, but I think pamperchu and all that shit is disgusting. Tight, shiny, non breathable clothing (latex) is sexy. Adults playing with piss and diapers is not.

Wouldn't that require bifurcation from the motherboard, or a PCIe switch on the card?

Unfortunately it looks like 2025 will not be the year of the linux desktop.

I showed this to an biological woman and she said this is fake, gay, and likely Indian.

Man and Female both type the same way, and like teenagers. No one in real life says "babe". Classic Indian pretending to be a woman style. Try again next life saar

I'll probably just move her back to mint and install Bluedevil again. She quite litteraly only uses it for uni and set her up with chrome.

>>106532481
I had her using mint but blueman is a piece of shit so I installed Bluedevil and it worked and I figured "why not just give her kde, looks closer to windows anyway and fedora had good driver support (allegedly)"

>I don't actually feel like changing keyboard since I got it
Am I missing anything with newer keyboards, or have I finally sated my appetite for the perfect sound/feel/size ? Literally the only thing I'd change is the fact that the switch to power it on/off is below a keycap.

So you are happy about this keyboard? I got it based on sound and concept, but I have 2nd thoughts after ordering. I type on logitech k380, which is nice aside from the fact the keys feel too small and i can never hit the right key when touchtyping.
>>
>>106536279
It's better than my previous Monsgeek M1 (closest direct comparison), my Keebmonkey 1800 or my CIY GAS67 (mostly because of the form factor, I dislike 60% keyboards).
It also has the advantage of being good pretty much out of the box, no tinkering required. I swapped the kaycaps, but it's for cosmetic, even the default keycaps were alright.

I've seen a built in USB hub (though it'll depend if you have 1.0 or 2.0 - 2.0 supporting usb 3 speeds). Card readers, m.2 ssd adapters, HDMI ports, wifi adapter, even pcie converters. Anything that USB or pcie can do.
It's limited by speed though, 1 lane of pcie 1/2 (depending on version) so you won't get ssd drive speeds past sata (sequentially, that is)

Is it normal for gaming laptops to have a terabyte of storage?

I was gifted a Dell G16 7620 gaming laptop that has a NCMe PC801 SK hynix 1TB SSD drive and I want to get a 2TB SSD drive

Also should I just stick to SSD? I hear that data can rot away if the SSD is unpowered for a long time

so what stops companies from giving higher speeds? 1gig is common common here but I never see any offering more than that, can I just call the isp and say "hey I want 10gig to download/upload loads of porn" and they offer a custom plan for it?
>>
>>106536280
ISP infrastructure is generally the determining factor.

Anything beyond 1gig is fairly new and expensive, and if your ISP COULD offer beyond 1gbps, they likely would, even if only some $150+/month plan for the rich morons to get.
>>
>>106524881
It seems the only decent options here are independent fiber companies in Bumfuck Nowhere offering 8-10 up/down. But if you live anywhere that isn't a wasteland, it's 2.5 max on copper if you're extremely lucky, most get less than 300.
