I'm probably coping, but do you still need a discrete graphics card in 2026? If you're not running games then there is no use case. And even then you can get away with running a lot nowadays
>>107810863You are coping, no matter the application it's better to have and not need than to need and not have, especially in the current sociopolitical climate where jews want to ban you from owning anything and turn you into a rentoid paypiggy for kike overlords
>>107810863also depends on monitors you want to connect.older motherboards tap out at 4k 30hz, newer ones probably at 4k 60hz.however displaylink is a thing if you're not anal about perfect color and sustained hz.
>>107811282You know integrated GPUs are actually GPUs right? You can run those accelerated workloads on an iGPU, they’re just not as fast. Exception is CUDA, but that’s a brand thing, not a “not a GPU” thing.
>>107810863integrated graphics have a certain rizz factor that dedicated gpus cannot compete with

>>107811557Lol ya its sort of insane. I failed some interview for alt tabbing because I had to google React docs. Their question was literally write an updating table in React and they expect you to have the syntax memorized. Sigh. The automated follow up email was something like "please explain why you needed to alt tab 5 times and copy and paste 15 words" to your interviewer. The absolute worst fucking interview I had though was this one where the fucking guys were too lazy to actually even attend the interview. It was an email saying hey we're interested in your resume. Please send us a video of you answers these 10 questions. I actually considered doing it, but I'm proud to say I uploaded a cat video.

>>107811185Why can't the computer just give the amp the analog sound? can you buy something like a soundcard or dongle that I could plug into my computer and then plug the amp into that? Basically I want to know if there is some workaround to a STACK other than buying an all in one product.
>>107811197if computer has audio jack, then dacyour phone have dac so speakers worksaar please understand, if you are use the digital audio file, dac is present no matter whatyou can have small dac, big dac, tower dac, amp dac, everything
>>107811210Ahhh naruhodo, thank you for clearing that up.
>>107811197It can. A standalone DAC is just paying to eliminate the possibility of problems. A lot of PC and mobile sources have issues making weird noises sometimes or are noticeably colored. Maybe they just don't measure well and you want to be 100% sure you're not hearing the equipment.
>Why do we need a DAC?But do we REALLY need a DAC? Think about it. SACD DSD is 1-bit 2.8224 MHz signal. USB is 48 MHz.What would happen if we use purely software algorythms to 16x upsample DSD to make it more smooth, and push raw result over USB with no protocol control signals, like UDP on steroids? Can an amp work with just that?

>>107800469You're watching entertainment channels, not educational ones. You need to learn Ohms law, Kirchoff's circuit laws, what a capacitor/resistor/transistor/FET does and so on.To identify power rails, you start from the charge port (or USB-C) port and you can easily check the value of it on a capacitor there. It's not hard. All you need is some knowledge and practive.

>>107797419I damaged my T14 Gen 6 Intel Lunar Lake motherboard by using the (incompatible) eDP cable from a T14 Gen 3/4.HDMI works fine, but the internal display shows no video (not even faintly).None of the fuses seem blown, they all pass continuity. The image attached shows the voltages I measured, I can't really interpret them.I'm assuming the B118 2898 "chip" is damaged (next to U92002 silkscreen). You think that's right? If so, any idea where I can get a replacement?I haven't been able to find anything. Also, the T14 motherboard is inside a T16 chassis... so the numpad part of the keyboard doesn't work. Would you know a fix?
Since lenovo made certain nvram options write-protected, is there anything protecting it from a simple bios flash? From what I've researched, it seems that the t14/t15g/p15/p17 gen 1 and newer use a wson8 as a bios chip so you would need something like a pogo pin to read it with your programmer (or desolder it). Is there anything else you need to consider when attempting to flash, e.g. some secret checker saved elsewhere (same place as the SVP maybe?) that bricks your shit if certain values don't add up?I'm mostly interested in changing cfg_lock and overclocking_lock as you might've realised.

>>107811011>>107810689>>107810672hey retards. it's malicious people doing malicious stuff. when it comes to what they do it doesn't matter what your "preferred" whatever is they'll exploit it and subvert it so it works for themthe fact you sorta retards try and pretend regulation or deregulated somehow stops them only helps them>laws saying don't murder stops murderno>if everybody has a gun it stops murdernowhether it's regulation or deregulation you need to deal with the PEOPLE. they will erode anything and succeed since you two retards are arguing about regulation instead of dealing with the malicious element of people.
>>107811011Some companies may lobby to have regulations enacted that they can wield as a weapon, but companies growing to the size that permits this is only possible without enforced anti-monopoly laws. We’ve been deregulating since Nixon, and look where it’s landed us. An open market is an idealistic fantasy. If the government isn’t making rules, the big players in the market will, and they’ll enforce them too. As with everything, a balance is necessary. And one must be willing to kill companies that are causing social harm even if it might harm GDP. Our issues fundamentally lie in the fact that politicians nowadays only give a shit about GDP numbers, not about actual outcomes for their constituents.
