I don't know if it's the best but it's a solid plug and play distro and really good for gaming setups. I don't daily drive it, because I use fedora, but when I tried it out I think I had less "issues" with gaming than I do with fedora.

Maybe not a stupid question and perhaps even worth it's own thread but I figured I'd ask here first.
What are some legitimately GOOD guides for computer related stuff and good resources, from programming, to internet, to any other thing? I don't care what it is.
I still have a lot to learn and I've barely started learning.
I found one really good guide from a persons recommendation for C++ on the channel The New Boston. Seems like a generally pretty fantastic channel on youtube. There are so many guides on youtube but most are kind of slop, perhaps for the sake of engagement. Few that are concise and autistic yet long and thourough, the way I like it, at least from what I've seen.

Would appreciate any recs as something of a beginner learner. I know this is also quite broad in scope, but I'm looking for anything, even niche things. If you found it particularly useful and helpful, please share.

That's what I'm doing now, I'm preparing for job interviews and asking him to ask me questions and if I don't know I ask him for incremental exercises until I grasp the concept.
What's really good about it is that you can target the exact hole in your knowledge, you don't have to seek materials for it which will cover 90% of what you know and 10% of what you don't.
Good pattern is:
>tell him to ask 1 question about something you want to learn about
>answer to the best of your ability, even if you don't know just say whatever vague idea comes to your mind
>he will tell you you're wrong and where you're wrong
>ask him about clarifications on those gaps
>he will explain
>ask him for 3 exercises where you have to answer correctly
>repeat answering questions and asking clarifications until you consistently get the 3 questions correct all the time
>move onto next topic

I had to take the role of an old relative's caregiver. Let me tell you, it was kinda a godsend. I could had it set timers with voice commands, which is a huge help for keeping track of their needs, you can play radio, streaming, music, weather reports, YT. It can keep them entertained, etc.
yeah Alexa is in no way as advanced as the latest AI chatbots, but it was super useful to me for what it is. Also I feel that is ok being as intrusive as it is, I dont know if I want it more intrusive by it being equipped with a (most probably) AI suscription service.
Yeah, Alexa needs to be improved, and I guess iot could be even more helpful as an old people monitor, but I dont want it using old people as free beta testers when their wellbeing is a stake.

One summer I was working construction out of town paving roads. Near one town we had to split the road to put in a drainage pipe, and pave over it after. One of the local boys was a retard and would watch us work all day, not saying anything just gawking and waving his arms and hands around with a smile lf facination. Anyway, the day we filled in the trench with aggregate this retard boy got too closed was buried beneath the road probably 3-4 feet down, and we just paved over it without saying a word. This is probably the wrong thread so I'm sorry, but I'm frustrated at me current Bluetooth earbuds: I have a handful of skullcandy and Jlab earbuds (they were free to me) that Have failed after a couple years. The skullcandies just refuse to connect in their charger pod and simply won't charge unless I have the rubber earpiece in a specific orientation. Then on top of that when they reach full charge they turn themselves on and connect to my phone and drain to 0% without charging again. I'm confident the developers at SK are legally retarded.

The JLabs seem to connect and store better, however they don't fit in my ears very well and simply aren't secure there, plus have horrible passthru audio and barely make it past mowing the lawn an errands.

Any tips on bluetooth earbuds that don't cost hundreds of dollars? alternatively, what thread should I go to if this is incorrect?
