How come Netflix, Apple, OpenAI, or Meta use it in their stack huh? Will Zig be remembered the same way we remember Ruby when it was Ruby vs Python after Python won the race for being able to scale better?

The language looks good and I like their simple self-contained compiler and build system. I've seen more than one person say that using its built-in C compiler is a better experience than setting up a normal C compiler.
But I'm not sure where it's going to be used. It doesn't seem to stand out for any one use case. Games are going to continue using C++. Security-critical libraries are going to lean towards Rust. Low level reverse engineering stuff is going to stick with C. It doesn't compete with Go or with anything like Typescript or Python.

It's a big routing hub.
My weather location glitches out sometimes on my brower and says Langley, VA.
I think there is close to 0% chance that glowie care about me.
There are just a handful of major routing points for internet traffic afaik.

I don't get these desk pads. It's literally a mouse pad but big enough to put a keyboard on it, for no reason at all. I mean, what's the purpose of having a keyboard on a pad?
>>
>>107808673
i move my keyboard around a lot (like when i'm eating, or if i decide to play a game, or am doing some kind of work) and it's also big enough that i don't need to move it around if my mouse is in a weird position (mostly gayming)

I recently got hired and I sent out a out 200 applications in 3 or 4 months.
The place I got hired at asked me only about the projects I had done and didn't have a leetcode section. Every other place just asked extremely arbitrary leetcode questions and wouldn't so much as speak to you until you had solved 4 leetcode hards in 1 hour.
The lesson I have taken from this is that if a company doesn't talk to you until you solve their stupid riddles then they're probably a very bad company and just want to appear like they're hiring without hiring anyone.
