If you want a tablet and also want to draw, should you get an iPad or a Samsung tablet?

I've heard that samsung + tablets (not the base model or the ultra, but the +) are closest to the size of a manga tankobon, if that matters to you.

But then if you don't own a Mac you get no compatibility.

Just start with the basics. You should get a handle on the 12 principles of animation, that's where you start. If you were to do a college course that's the entry level tasks everyone does (it's what I did as a student too). Look at the examples of Level 1 exercises here (swap out "3. Brick falling from a shelf onto the ground" for a bowling ball bounce, that's usually the typical exercise for weight): https://www.animatorisland.com/51-great-animation-exercises-to-master/
Look up some references on youtube, it will explain some of these concepts to you: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twelve_basic_principles_of_animation
Student year 1 showreels are a good thing to look for on youtube too.
Don't worry about character animation for the moment, just focus on understanding these. Once you feel a bit confident with them, then you could do a small animation (like expressions, or a character walk, just basic things). Here is a good site for references and ideas: https://www.sakugabooru.com/post
And yeah, you can technically be good at animation while not being good at drawing (3D and 2D rigs come to mind as an example). Some people can make really fluid animation even if their drawing skills are not very good. But generally speaking you need a really good grasp on anatomy and perspective to be able to fully animate well.

It's sad, I'd really like android or even surface tablets to be successful but options outside of ipad are just not there as yet.
>>107849748
Can confirm everyone in the industry is using ipads and procreate.
>>107849927
The future of desktop tablets is moving away from buttons, look at Wacom's current lineup. They want to sell you them back seperately at a 100 bucks peripheral. Most people using ipads are using bluetooth keyboards too, they work surprisingly well.
>>107853242
Only thing you're missing is the native dual monitor thing. I have a windows machine I built myself for 3D work. Compatibility is fine.

All these fags making bimbo looking sex dolls into robots.

But why not do what futurama did where its just a plain robot and then they overlay the identity overtop. Now granted we cant do that but with ar or vr goggles why not have a character model superimpose on a blank robot like joi and that hooker?

Maybe add hair and clothing of similar mesh so u can twirl ur girls hair or w.e. but beyond that it doesnt even need eyes and shit. Its all presented in vr goggles.

So question how long until a proto holodexk. Where i can create on demand a virtual 3d space like a white villa on a fruitger aero blue beach surrounded by ocean. With a cute emo blonde girl with eyeliner that then i can snuggle with, dance, pick up, and obv smash her puss.

Like 2 to 3 years?

You are so full of bullshit and retardation. You assume that anyone who lacks a wife, kids, and community must be a "bad person." You assume being a "good person" 100% guarantees success in your metrics of attaining a wife, kids, and community. You are like a toddler who can't comprehend that other peoples' lives and circumstances are different from your own. I, like many, am pretty normal and successful by the vast majority of possible metrics. I've even dated around a fair amount, moved around, worked at several different places, etc. I have yet to encounter a relationship or a community that didn't disappoint. It's well-known we're in a period of serious social decay and generally bad morals and low happiness. You are nothing but a huge faggot for trying to gaslight those realities.

Okay I installed windows 11. Now what? The guides seem geared towards windows 10. Like I dunno I tried going to the task scheduler to disable tasks but there was no disable. I could delete the folder though

Should I disable service and use the shut up windows thing or just the latter?

A lot of it was saved, there’s a channel on YouTube called curiousmarc who’s working with a bunch of other Silicon Valley old-heads to revive the original Apollo equipment, preserve it, and the software that ran on it. They’re working on reviving the ground service equipment at the moment, they already revived the main computer on the Apollo vehicle and hooked it up to a simulator, and it completed a moon landing using the simulated inputs.

Can’t say for sure with regards to the mechanics, but in general NASA is very good at keeping info around, and where it does slip through the cracks (left in a storage facility, gets auctioned off 20 years later), collectors sniff it out pretty quick. A lot of the original engineers also took home copies of their work once the project wrapped up. This is how we have the original code listings (on paper) for a few of the Apollo missions.
>>
>>107846568
Not unique to NASA at all, military projects regularly have the same issue, and it’s because of the way they structure these contracts to permit cost overruns. The companies working on them know they can milk them by bloating costs, so they do, and nobody in the government does anything because once they leave government they want a cushy job with said contractors.
>>
>>107851418
It’s not for regulatory capture, it’s to encourage a naturally arising Ponzi scheme. They hype it, and silence anti-hypers, so stock number go up. It’s that simple. It’s the reason for every asset bubble and retarded trend (crypto, web3, AI, sneakers, trading cards). They hype it up as the next big thing, that’ll make you super rich and is the next revolutionary technology, do not explain how that works, and then their first round of retards buy-in, see success, and then become proselytes pulling more people in, none of who have any idea “how” it’s supposed to make money, but if this many people are investing it can’t be a scam, right?

It can get corrupt some times and just needs a quick "reboot" for lack of better terms.

i bought 2 970s for SLI. After the VRAM issues became well known I returned them to Newegg for a full refund. I then joined the class action lawsuit against Nvidia and was the named plaintiff in my state. I bought two 980s with my settlement money. Even for free that was the worst purchase i ever made. That was the shittiest generation of GPU ever.

But I also got a B580 12GB because it was on sale so I will probably build a budget rig around that as well.

Considering the premise is ludicrous, you have two options. Either:
1. Nobody reasonable is actually expecting AGI from current-architecture LLMs. They mean something else but journalists are tech illiterate and don't care anyway, they want a catchy headline, so they'll distort everything just to get more clicks. Or,
2. The claim is hype blown out of proportion by constant repetition and modification on social media, like Chinese whispers but dumber. You've heard of it specifically because it makes people go "whaaaaaat???"
I suppose it could be a bit of a mix of the two as well.
>>
>>107851546
It's even worse: the average AI enthusiast is retarded, and they are probably 1-2 std deviations above the average population in a western country, which is 1-2 std deviations above the average population in the world.
