>>65046889>>65046993My asshole has been itchy for like 8 months now. At first, I thought it was hemorrhoids, so I ignored it, thinking it would go away. It got significantly worse, so then I thought it was parasites. I took some parasite medication, and it didn't really help. So I went back to the hemorrhoid theory and bought some preparation H. It helped, but hasn't really solved it. Every now and again, the thought of ass cancer crosses my mind, but getting that diagnosed would involve having someone look at my ass hole, and that's extremely fucking gay. So idk, I'm just going to keep using the preparation H.
>>65047651Ur probably diabetic
>>65047709Doubt it. I have to have my blood drawn once a year at work for insurance purposes and I haven't shown any signs of pre-diabetes. My values on pretty much everything have all comeback in the perfect range for the past 2 years. I'm pretty much the only one in the office that doesn't get put on some type of wellness plan.

Why did older, obsolete SAM systems outperform the supposedly high-end ones? Both the THAAD and the S-400 have been major disappointments.
>I stole a post from /r/NCDThis might be a self a report, but I'm bringing you with me you faggot.
The whole point of IADS is each system is optimized for certain targets, THAAD and the S-400 are both anti-ballistic missile systems that get dunked on by crop dusters throwing VOGs out the window. The issue right now is there isn't any small drone optimized systems leaving a capability gap.

>>65046306>paki propaganda AI slop andLmao okay. Just for reference some of those images are downed paki aircraft (old Mirages) and even so maybe you missed the part where 12 of their bases were rendered unusable and their C&C centre blown up and pakis went begging to their benefactor for a ceasefire. In a real war i'd know which side was "winning">>65046312This is exactly why i'm against the Rafale deal and India's approach in general. It's going to be a shitshow. Just try to scalp (usually disgruntled) the designers/engineers as needed they way they had a German who designed their old Marut or how USA had a Taiwanese as chief designer of the YF-23. Rafale is too expensive for what it is. If they are going to lose other potential buyers lile UAE then Dassault is going to have problems

What is France's deal anyways?>No no zis fighter must be centibaguettes in length exactly it also has to have a plethora of features only our carriers and tech use and Germany will pay for it ouiThen they expect people to go along with that. I don't get it.

Is it fuddlore that if you use 9mm r.i.p rounds from g2 research in self defense that a prosecutor will hang you in court off the acronym of it?
>>65047686No. I’ve shot 10 people in self defense with just those rounds and never had a problem
>>65047710
The recoil spring in my old pocket pistol had been busted, so I replaced it with a furniture spring. It's noticeably weaker and has less tension, but the pistol cycles dummy rounds so smoothly and easily, I almost can't believe it.I'm afraid of testing with live rounds and risk causing a damage. How low quality can you go with recoil springs? Is there a way to tell beforehand if a recoil spring is going to be able to handle the blowback?
Thoughts on USAF pilots survival gear?
>>65047468The more reason to have a survival weapon that could enable the downed pilot to hunt and get food in the wild while not leaving evidence (5.56 casings).

>>65047314Does midwest still make these? I always thought they were cool
>>65047541they have gone all in on "America has taken more casualties than Russia and is just lying about it".
>>65047329>>65047361I do not understand the number of people who seem to think you can accurately guess the calibre and mag well design and bake that into a weapon, and that this somehow makes more sense than just grabbing a guy's gun while you grab his mags if you need it.Presumably you have someone either detained or dead if you're able to get their ammunition, just take the fucking gun that goes with it, christ. It'll work with their ammo about as close to 100% of the time as you can get.I swear to god some people don't even realise there's two common rounds that AK pattern rifles are chambered in and that it's a complete crapshoot which someone will have in that part of the world, without getting into any of the more esoteric possible arms.
This looks familiar to me.

the main problem i have with this claim is that the shitter schizo that said it has to jump to extremely contrived loops to say it happened, ive read some 60s account on nuclear bombs and the explosions they pointed too dont match what was said overwhere i do have to give it to them those large explosion are pretty suspicious i find it extremely hard also because kikes cant maintain shit and they would absolutely fuck up nuclear psysischs and mainteinance(oppeheimer was the pencil pusher and eistein was a fraudI but i digress

Any military vets here? I just discharged last year after 8 years in the US Army. I spent 3 years in infantry (11B) stationed in a really rainy German town and got deployed to a country full of commieblocks before I applied for the Special Forces and managed not to washout of SFAS and after 2 and a half years or so I spent the rest of my time in Army as an 18B in SF. Since I did the full 8 years active I'm not IRR and pretty much a full on civilian now. I have no idea what I want to do. Since getting out, a case worker at my local GI forum got me this job doing basic maintenance on folding machines for a laundry business, and honestly it kinda sucked, so I got a different job now working in a really cold warehouse for an online grocery store. I have little to no prior work experience outside of the military. From my service I do have experience in some building/construction, mainly basic shit like excavation and laying concrete and I've installed basic electrical wiring but I don't have any certifications in that type of stuff. I'm also bilingual, fluent in spanish and ayacucho quechua (lol) but even with all that my case worker can't get me a job that pays more than $16 an hour like shit man come on. I'm having to live back at home with my dad and my mentally ill sister. I was going to take advantage of the GI bill and go to school but I have no fucking idea what I want to study as a career. I don't want to get a bullshit degree and reenlist and go the officer route (there's a lot of bs involved) and tbqh I don't feel like going back to the military in any degree. I have no interests other than my hobbies and no aspirations of what I want to do. I tried looking into PMCs/PSCs and I found this website called Silent Professionals which seems kinda fishy desu. Idk man. Anybody in a similar position?

Don't give up. You've overcome so many challenges, you won't fail at this one. Alot of Veterans I know have turned fitness coaches or coaches for Military Fitness, preparing people for SF or SOF selection. If you maybe get a degree or certificate in sports, this could be something worth looking into. I am a western European however so I don't know how easy this is for americans.
Has anyone blown their cock off with appendix carry?
>>65046378pizza is delicious though
>>65047080Another dopamine hit fatty?
PROTIP: if you have carried a gun over a year without shooting your cock off, you aren't handling it enough. Painting your thighs red is a natural part of handling weapons, just like tweaking your back is part of weightlifting and car accidents are part of driving. My crotch looks like a Ken doll because I actually HANDLE and know how to USE my weapons. It makes me a better firearms handler and lover, and it's a small part of the price you payin the sheepdog lifestyle. Simple fact is, the "safety mentality" will build mental blocks in your head that willget you killed. You need to be comfortable putting your finger on the trigger and pointing the gun straight into your twig and berries no matter the time, place, or status of your danglies. Taking time to check whether your shirt gets caught when you re-holster will serve to make you hesitate in a personal defense scenario. You fucking safety idiots are going to get people killed all because of this fucking "tranny gash" shaming. Guns are inherently dangerous, you need to accept it.

I'm working on a sci-fi universe and I want to know which spaceplane concept would be the most practical among all concepts and implementations for fighters, bombers, transports, reconnaissance, helicopters, and other military or fleet aircraft across Army, Navy, and Air Force roles. I am open to including the rule of cool as a factor in the decisionPart 1: >>64971918
>>65043753>If it's stupid and it works...>>65043782>well it doesn't work, but what actually works is the reverse, which is only slightly less "stupid" if you think about it>but what actually worksIn space? (sarcasm)The ISS have been grabbing spacecraft using the Canadarm and docking them for decades.THAT is what work.>the helicopter "grabs" the ship by throwing down a cable, which is then winched in.This is done because the ship move a lot and the helicopter being lighter, faster to maneuver, is the one who will adapt its speed as it see fit.A sea ship can also accept a landing so long as the aircraft is roughly on the platform. In space, a space station/carrier is (basically) immobile, a smaller craft can be easily grabbed, saving precious propellant, and docking it would require precision anyway. In fact, the RCS thruster needed to move a big ship would be so dangerous to point at any structure or ship (can't afford any real armor) so IMO it would be standard process to use arms & frame to grab and dock ANY vessel that way.

I want to put thishttps://www.midwayusa.com/product/2420373744?pid=373744On pic related. Current scope is airsoft and idk where that ends and gun begins. The rings are 1 screw per side and direct thread into the rail which screws into the top receiver 1 in the back 2 in the front.I think the rings and rail are original, should I run 1 screw rings on a 30-06? My 30-30 runs 2 screw rings. Original scope was a 3-9 Nikon that got lost along the way
What was the point of these gay ass screws? I took them out and nothing happened
If mid-Cold War had sea skimming missiles but no reliable CIWS / SHORAD, how were ships expected to not die?
>>65046221Countermeassures were a thing. The missile doesn't know where you are when it can't see shit.
>>65047050>SOMEReread the chapterDozensWhich is retardedClancy clearly forgot the math in this section
>>65047178>Clancy clearly forgot the math in this sectioniirc they used Harpooon to wargame those scenarios, and Phalanx was stilll relatively new back then. They probably overestimated it.OTOH, the system was develloped to counter those exact Soviet missilles.
>>65046221soviet missiles were hardly sea skimming in the modern sense, they had around 50-150m minimum altitude until the mid 80s, which is much easier to detect and shoot down than actual sea skimmers like Exocet or Harpoon who fly less than 5m above the water.soviets generally weren't big on low flying missiles because they are more visible from the air and they were trying to take on US carrier groups who obviously had air cover. they were also big on supersonic missiles which get massively decreased range if flying low so even if this was an option for a missile it likely wouldn't be used.
>>65047506Styx could only go down to 300 fteven the big ones like Sandbox and Shipwreck, only 100 ftfor comparison, Exocet was 7 to 35 ft
How do you think it's going to go down? I imagine there won't be an infantry presence until it's practically leveled.
>>65047257There is "open to freedom of navigation", and there is "open, subject to approval and a 2 million USD toll fee paid directly to Iran". Only the first is acceptable to the US and its allies, and only the second is acceptable to Iran. If the US bails, then the straits remain closed to everyone who Iran doesn't like or who doesn't pay the aya-tollbooth.
>>65046455>until it's practically leveled.IMPLESSIVE. now post terrain map chang
>>65047282Physically, nothing is stopping Iran from setting up a toll and they've been doing it in the short term as a form of leverage.Economically and diplomatically, it's not sustainable. It just triggers economic retaliation and damages their own trade.
>>65047310Given that now French ships are passing through freely, collecting a toll isn't feasible. It's pure thirdie fantasy.
>>65046701I know about inspect element too, you aint slick.

>>65047906Hey fuck you, I'm disowning this cunt. We sent more tanks to Ukraine than the US has (for what good that does at the moment).
>>65047885Yeah because the retards ITT drag the conversation into stupidity and refuse to let it leave. That's not a good thing. Zero political accountability for the military industrial complex is an absolute bad. Nothing good comes from that. Not only will it be used when it shouldn't be because there will be no consequences for the people using it. Not only will it be used in a retarded way that won't work because nobody is asking why it didn't work. But ultimately all military success rests on a social contract between the leader and the led, and nobody is going to sign that dumb contract any more because normies just don't give a fuck. Like the fact that China is probably going to start WW3 next year, and we're probably going to lose, just doesn't even exist in 99.9% of people's heads. Nobody is signing up to fight the war, and nobody really cares that our chances are slim to none. Republicans are going to blame democrats, democrats are going to blame republics, and then they all get executed for not being communists. And still nobody gives a fuck. And I'm sitting here giving a fuck and I'm the fucking bad guy? No, more people like me, less retarded trolls please.

>Winchester 1866 is "Yellow Boy">loads via a "King's Gate"So it's the King in Yellow?
>>65047011one of the weird things about the 1866 is that I'm pretty sure it's the only model where the carbines are more common than the rifles. Well other than the 94s I guess. there weren't that many henrys. most 1873s and 1892s are rifles, not sure about the 76s and 86s and most 1895s are military contract. a decent number of 66s are also military contracts.the 66 also has a way sharper drop in the stock angle than the 73 which has a way sharper drop in the stock angle of the JMB designed winchesters. not sure why they did that but you can find boomers online seething about not being able to get a good cheek weld with the 1866 and repros when they do their cowboy action shooting since CAS bans cheek risers for some reason
>>65047024Yeah, that drop is breddy absurd. Imagine being a Spanish tranarchist in '36 and getting a shot-out Yellow Boy dumped on your by Stalin.
>>65047047Did the 1866s end up in Russia? I know a significant number of 1866s were military contract guns, but I think the ottomans and french bought the 1866s and the russians bought the 1895s
>>65047128Ruskies bought Yellow Boys as well.
