Statistically, in events where perpetrators somehow cop the piece off a cop, ignorance of the manual of arms vs. striker fired saved a significant number of bamboozeled and fucked officers from dirt naps.

I guess the modular frame is half of the point of a 2011 but does anyone make one that's a single piece of metal like a 1911? not like a para though.

327 isn't even good as a boutique offering
Other than 22, 357, 38, 44, 45LC and 500 there are NO calibers worth it
Even 45 and 9 are stupid in a revolver
Fuck does ever nu-/k/ suck
>>
>>65046898
Listen... nigger
I always dismissed 327 thinking why bother when 357 exists. But then I shot it and experimented with it and I learned really quick why it was not a dead round.
More company's are making guns chamberd in it then ever. Even if I didnt root for it I can't deny its getting more common. I can always find it at the big box stores. S&w might be doing a new run of model 16 with a + on it. I understand there has to.be an echo system of calibers but I will be dawned if 327 gets the 41 magnum treatment

You are correct saar, Iran still has an electrical grid because the US has deliberated not drops kilotons of conductive fibers around all their high tension wires. Iran still has water, or at least as much as it did previously because water and sewage have not been targeted. I could go on but you get the point. The heat can be turned up much higher. Whether that will have the desired result is another matter but even it if increased support for the regime it would also hamstring them into fixing their infrastructure. The real issue is that everybody white and under the age forty absolutely despises kikes either because they are racist due to kike bullshit or ironically because the diaspora kikes which indoctrinated them in academia made them think ebil "white" israelis are fucking with the poor peaceful brownoids.

They really can't drum up support for the war because everybody hates Israel.

>I want a return to the economics of the 50s
So when the country was 90% white?

>90% top tax bracket
Not going to happen because that was mostly the government taxing the shit it was paying to defense corporations to make shit for them, a holdover from WW2. If you want to tax 100% of the income from the stock market and thus crash it you'd have support but not because anybody likes socialism, they just hate jews. Who account for 1/2 of the 1% you dislike by the way.

>well paying government jobs putting upwards pressure on private sector wages
That's retarded because it lead to inefficiency throughout the 50s and 60s. Just get rid of all the non-whites and the value of labor increases and which products produce viable margins do as well. Just be racist and it solves all the problems. Also the government employers constituted a lower percentage of earned income reported to the federal government, so the only way it would be viable would also be if you drastically cut federal workers and then expected more out of them to justify wage hikes.

It's public theater. It's a show for the Russians and the people dumb enough to believe it.
Behind the scenes, the uSA is sending Ukraine whatever it needs, DARPA is pulling out it's latest and greatest, and organically creating the most effective weapons systems to push Russians back and knock their very expensive cruise missile spam out of the sky.

People often look at this through the robot themselves but I think we're overlooking the weapons these mechs are packing. Even at a grunt level, the Zaku's machine gun is an automatic Abrams cannon. Maybe that's why in-universe, they're not just putting these weapons on a tank because we can't even do that.

How do you think it's going to go down? I imagine there won't be an infantry presence until it's practically leveled.

Kharg Island basically looks like a Battlefield 2 map so I imagine it's going to go down exactly like that. There will be rapid territorial gains as the IRGC try to take their defensive neutral control points, unable to attack the US rubber boats. However due to the "assault" style of the map, and the layered defensive lines, it'll turn into a meatgrinder real fast. There will be a building down a hill where all the Americans will shelter and grenade spam onto a poorly rendered hotel uphill that acts as the IRGC control point. The bottom floors are accessible for suicide-C4, but the IRGC will consistently repel squad attacks. Even if the point is lost, the proximity of the next IRGC control point will make it basically untenable to hold for the Americans.

The strategy I think is most likely to work is if a squad on voice can get past the hotel on the sly, and coordinate a push on the hotel at the same time as they capture the rear control point. If they both go neutral at the same time? Check mate. But tickets are counting and if this can't be done quickly, we might see a total failure to break out of the quagmire and players will just settle into their roles, hunker down, and wait to go next. Commander's artillery is liable to cause TK and I suspect two commanders from both teams will be autobanned for friendly fire. No one is hitting pg_dn to forgive in this conflict.

However, this is an expansion pack so as it stands we're seeing the server failing to populate, and randos hopeful that the server will reach a stable 24 players will continue to fuck around in 'waiting for players to join'. During this time it wont be unreasonable to see the US forces pushed all the way back to their carrier spawn point, and the kind of animosity that will brew from camping the plane spawn might bleed into the game when the match starts for real. If so the cohesiveness of the US air force will be at risk of total disintegration.

Welcome to doody.

>Kharg Island basically looks like a Battlefield 2 map

That's because it's based on a Battlefield 3 map. Iran never paid a cent to the hard working game developers who came up with the idea.
>>
>>65046768
Yet another case of Iranians stealing Swedish intellectual property rights. However, here we go straight into politics; because if the US recognised the ICC then they could avoid this conflict simply by issuing a C&D. This would reduce tickets to zero and password protect the server on map change.

It should also be remembered that in lore the typical space marines engagement doesn't involve fair fights. Early lore was much more calm about space marine's capabilities, and said they'll do badly in the open. They're not supposed to sit there tanking lasgun hits, they're supposed to engage in ship boarding actions, or do a huge orbital drop onto a HQ. Obviously tabletop stats aren't purely comparative, but they are meant to be an indicator and it's a reasonable assumption that a bolter really is meant to be about as powerful as a heavy stubber.
>>
>>65045171
This tracks, seeing as if you play guard, bolters of the heavy variety are one of your options for your heavy weapon squads. The others being heavy stubbers, lascannons, and I think some manner of mortar, and a heavy flamethrower for kriegers.
>>
>>65045292
I fucking love mortars.

Why didnt eastern swords have handguards?
They used swords for far longer than europe because they didnt learn about guns yet so how come their sword tech is still so shit? I hear that they are all horse archers but surely they have to dismount and fight after running out of arrows.

>That went away when robbers could afford flintlocks in a large calibre that could just kill the horse with a single shot to it's chest
Depending on region, some robbers would still try to do it the old-fashioned way, with sharpened bits of steel on pointy sticks. In some places, being a criminal wasn't an automatic death sentence (replaced with deportation to the colonies), but using a firearm in felonies would always mean summary execution if caught.

Fun aside, there was a brief intersection in sword cultures during the Dutch/Portuguese period of trade with Japan. What this largely amounts to (inasmuch as what has survived and been cataloged), are smallswords in the Northern European (as in north of the Alps) form, with decoration emblematic of Japanese sword design. Usually called Sawasa swords, they're really cool and I've only ever seen the blackening/bluing and lacquer like this done on some giga rare Napoleonic era French turbo high ranking presentation swords. Usually Euro blades with Japanese made hilt fittings, look at the huge physical difference of the relief details on the pommel and inside of the guard.

It can't decide what it wants to be.

Really it's a much shittier version of the Browning BLR. If you want a mag fed lever action rifle look into it. Japanese made, great shooters, and only a little bit more money. They don't use AR magazines though.
>>65044029
Lighter than a bull barrel, less overheating and stringing shots than a pencil profile. The biggest downside is that it also lightens your wallet. Theoretically it's also possible for the carbon fiber to delaminate and cause horrible barrel harmonics problems or even catastrophic failure but that's pretty rare.
>>65044230
Depends if the gun you are running them out of is picky. If so, stick to what you know works. If not, buy a box and try it.
>>65043083
Yes but insignificant.
>>65040808
I have a Pre-B CZ-85 (just a 75 with ambidextrous controls) and it's a great gun. I don't see where CF has them in stock currently but if the price is comparable to a current production B model I'd consider it. The only downside I've found is that modern CZ-75 pattern magazines seem to be a little wider so you have to scrounge around for the older Pre-B pattern. New production mags seem to just get stuck in the magwell.

82s and 83s are VERY nice if comparing to a PPK or Makarov PM. Again, value depends on the price and 82s are way cheaper because they are more abundant, at the trade-off of ammunition that is harder to find.
