>>97395150the warp does not experience time in a linear fashion, reality does, slaanesh's birth in reality is a fixed oint on the linear timeline but simultaneously slaanesh's existence in the warp is not, that's a quirk of warp physics, they did create slaanesh and you're a fucking secondary if you aren't aware of that very cemented lore.>>97395072they didn't literally call out the name of slaanesh, but they did come to believe in absurd heights of degeneracy as a lifestyle to the point where (like warfare) belief in the power of that degeneracy created a warp deity to embody it.
>>97395261>they didn't literally call out the name of slaanesh, but they did come to believe in absurd heights of degeneracy as a lifestyle to the point where (like warfare) belief in the power of that degeneracy created a warp deity to embody it.Yes that's the entire point, the gods don't care whether you believe in THEM as gods, only whether you believe in the ideologies that they feed on.
>>97395674your "point" is semantics, no belief = dead god, or in the quirky warp physics, a god that never existed.
>>97395681This entire stupid reply chain started with one anon saying>The gods exist whether you believe them or not.and another disagreeing. But yes, an atheist who has either never heard of Slaanesh or denies that Slaanesh exists is still feeding Slaanesh when they do degenerate hedonist stuff.
>>97395758not necessarily, it seems the distinction is wether or not the hedonism and degeneracy are an end rather than a means, lust and pleasure in both positive and negative form existed before slaanesh was birthed, so the mere acts are insufficient, likewise when daemonettes or nurglings engage in violence they are not being khornate, for them the violence is merely a means to the end of pleasure/disease/etc... whereas for a bloodletter or a berserker the violence is the purpose, so for slaaneshes birth the eldar were the first society that existed on a large enough scale collectively believing in hedonistic pleasures as the purpose of their existence to create an entity in the warp representative of that.

How would you humanize enemy mooks even if the players have to put them down at the end of day? How do you make it so that players leaving piles of corpses in their wake is not a trivial matter?

>>97392345That's a lot of weight on his shoulders. Does he keep creating new princess'? Or does he get ideas/concepts from others, and he draws them? What makes a V change over to the next number, once you reach a certain amount of characters? I suppose the original artists behind the project left due to reasons?
>>97392372He mostly draws princesses made by the community. I'm not sure if he ever made one purely by himself. So V3 has 5 main gens, 5 fan expansion gens, and multiple other unofficial gens. V4 is newer and is mostly redoing the V3 princesses in a new larger format. New art style, bigger cards that describe the whole nation. >>97392296Thank you, that's kind of you to say Yah been about 9 years now. Time flies. Interesting enough, I learned about it from drawing in the /tg/ and /co/ drawthreads. Someone told me I drew similar to Towergirls and asked if I could come to the threads and draw some stuff. The rest is history. I've always had a love for character design work, this setting allows for so much freedom to explore unique aesthetics its been a blast to draw for.I've drawn for other fandoms, like Undertale, Monsterprom, Homestuck. But nothing has stuck as long as Towergirls has. (I have bluesky where a lot of my work is shown btw)>>97392345I've only been able to draw because of the amazing community around me and the talented writers and artists that continue to motivate me. >>97390685Well, I'd reckon that it's because blood's the thing that keeps us alive. Lose too much blood, you die quick. In a scientific sense, it's possibly the single most valuable substance in our body in terms of keeping us fit and fine. If it holds up scientifically, then applying magical thinking, it might as well be pure life given liquid form. That's why it always has to be blood. Anyway, Duquesne weren't a vampire, but he did work with a cult. Demonic one.
>>97395267>but he did work with a cult. Demonic one.Not that surprising. Many are willing to give up their souls and enter servitude for a sliver of demonic power. Nothing is worse than a demon, best to destroy these cults as quickly as possible.
>>97395310Preaching to the choir my friend. Back around 200 years ago, there was a huge cult of a very old demon killing people every new moon. It's what got my family into the hunting profession in the first place. Nowadays, we pride ourselves on being a demon-free community. We actually still have the muskets they used back then as family heirlooms. Only really good as a wall-hanger, but an important piece of history. My ancestor's hunting knife gets passed down from father to eldest son, though we've needed to have it restored two separate times.
>>97395356Glad to hear that there are dedicated demon hunters out there. From what I know most hunters out there need to realise demons are very much real and dangerous. I'm no demon hunter myself but I know a few, they also go after wizards and such.
>>97395427We hunt more than just demons and their worshippers, but that'd be a specialty. I'm surprised to hear that most hunters you've met are skeptical about demons. Once you know there's things out there in the night, demons seem like a logical assumption. I'm hardly a religious scholar, but I'm pretty sure most cultures have something you could call a demon.

>>97393212>>97393232I'm sorry, I was out of line, dealing with this shit is tough.
A few updates.First, our guest, Man of Florida, concluded his business in Bridgeport, but before he left with a few sets of clothes by uncle The Devil Wears Me, we let him transform into a bat and chase little Mercury Lamp all over the mansion, they had so much fun. Now that was one fine gentleman, why can't men, be them kindred or kine, be more like him?Second, I went to Elysium in New York to perform, and Princess Charming is here with me to shake some hands and kiss more posteriors. Although Elysium is the last place I'd look for Revelation, we met. I broke the news about my brother's final death, I don't know what was more spine-chilling, that raised eyebrow, or the new colors in Revelation's aura. I'll just say I'm talking about the kindred who introduced House Venus to the use of firearms, and Boy Toy was the best disciple among us.Third, we have a Ventrue living under this roof and her clanmates are questioning her level of safety. Me and Princess Charming agreed that we will be not facing whichever next crisis this world has in store for us without the help of Revelation, we will not wait for Mother Venus's opinion on the subject.
>>97395600>her clanmates are questioning her level of safetyIt helps that she doesn't go 'on patrol' with Blue Fairy waiting for anything ranging from kine to thinbloods to werewolves that also happen to be vampires to attack them.>Me and Princess Charming agreed that we will be not facing whichever next crisis this world has in store for us without the help of RevelationAre you joking me?>we will not wait for Mother Venus's opinion on the subject. Most excellent, you will not see Mother Venus pay for Revelation's services either. >tqHorus was wrong and rebelled for wrong reasons but the Emperor wasn't entirely right either. The Imperium was made for humanity, not posthumans. The legions were made to protect mankind, not to rule it.There is an interesting point brought up in some of the Black Books that the Imperium was building up new armies and fleets of mortal humans and led by mortals, not for sheer conquest but to hold and defend what the Imperium had. These new armies were raised by and ultimately answered to the Council of Terra. By and large these new armies also remained loyal to the Imperium rather than rebelling alongside the Warmaster.Perhaps there was a possibility, one that I have never seen addressed much myself, that had Horus's rebellion happened even just a few decades later then it may not have even reached Terra as by then the majority of the Imperium's fleets, which even in the Expeditionary fleets were crewed mostly by mortals, and armies would have been restructured and under the Council of Terra rather than the Warmaster directly. I don't know how much these particular details played into the Warmaster's plans, but perhaps he was aware that not only was the Council of Terra growing in strength politically but militarily as well.Pic related is from Book 4
