>>97827198Anon, I have some filthy model that need trimming, but please oh please, scrape off those 3dp print lines/bits before you paint that.
>>97827507>This man has never seen a tire before
>>97827378>>97827384Will be adding those paints to my hitlist then, thanks. What did you do for the red lenses, while I have the opportunity to ask? At first I thought they were painted like regular lenses but your additional shots make it look more like they're just a whole metallic colour that's getting actual highlights from the lighting.
>>97827560I'm probably not even gonna paint this specific one, because there are still a few support issues I want to work out, and maybe bulk up the tires.
>>97827580SureI did all the red the same way, but the eye lenses were slightly different. In the course of all the drybrushing, the eye lenses got the same treatment. It ended up with a dark edge, transitioning to silver towards the center, which is what you want. I thin took vallejo true metallic metal sterling silver light, which is pretty much just white metallic paint. I glazed it up to get a brighter center. Then, I coated it in blood red speed paint. It maintained a bit of the metallic, but when it dries it becomes SUPER dull, so you bring it back to the glossy lens look by then giving it two coats of gloss varnish.
I win the argument.

Been working on a yugioh based ttrpg on and off.Uses cards as spells and stat blocks, relatively simple mechanics, characters can cast spells summon monsters and do a bit of fighting themselves. Mana is limited but recharges somewhat quickly. Mostly inspired by the pharaoahs memories story arc so sort of balanced up to the legacy of darkness/labyrinth of Nightmareperiod of cards.Check it out and let me know what you think. https://files.catbox.moe/40h9rw.PDF

>>97816639>hey, I've seen some of this guy's videos and he has never once mentioned being paidNo, you're just blind. Most countries have laws that require people who do any sort of reviews to disclose if they were paid for said reviews, including if they got the product for free. In fact, I'm pretty sure this is a standard part of YT's ToS.But then again, maybe you're no blind and he does in fact not mention getting paid for reviews, in which case he's probably in violation of YT's ToS and maybe some actual laws...
>>97820260>>97820400What's happening to him sucks, but I think he still gets flak because he's such a repulsive guy. He's militantly political and wants leftist messaging in games, and has defended drag queens and porn books in libraries, calling those who don't Nazis.
>>97827561Holy shit, kill yourself you pathetic waste of space.
>>97816639Well, considering the jump from "this guy", singular, to "why are they all" I suspect it's largely due to you being a smarmy little shit with a narrative to push because you got butthurt over not getting the free publicity you thought you were entitled to.

Serious question: What value do slaves actually have to your average PC? Like, I've never seen any PC / group actively engage in slavery because there never seems to be any substantial reward worth the effort. It's like crafting or running a business, there's just no *point* in engaging with the mechanics because the rewards are puny. How could you make it actually appealing to players? It's not like they can load up a ship and sail off to the ivory coast.
>>97797671Most TTRPGs are focused on combat and adventuring. Slavery generally only has utility in getting menial tasks done (or, in some cases, like Roman slavery, niche skilled labor as well). The only point of slavery in most TTRPGs would be having extra bodies to throw at the enemy, but you'd have to somehow justify why those slaves don't rebel, run away, etc.The most practical "slaves" in your traditional TTRPG would be magical creatures that are forced by their nature or some even greater threat to be loyal to you, like a genie or some NPC whose choices are "be a loyal slave to these adventuring autists or get smited by an angry god" or something similar.
>>97797671My PC has a psuedoslave in one of my games. They're a techie who helps fix up gear my lowborn ganger wouldn't have access to and in return they live a life that's nominally more free than if they were to get captured by the authorities and returned to formal slavery.
>>97823276>The only point of slavery in most TTRPGs would be having extra bodies to throw at the enemy, but you'd have to somehow justify why those slaves don't rebel, run away, etc.In fiction or the real world? You've got Unsullied, Mamluks, Jannissaries, Aztec auxilliaries, plenty of examples with various obedience mechanisms.>>97823158Hill giants and ogres would definitely use human slaves for all sorts of things, both menial and technical labor, housekeeping, sex, cooking, infiltration, coming up with new shenanigans and other activities that can escape a 7 INT.
>>97808048well?
>>97823276probably didn't run away because the alternative was far worse, since they were treated quite well, like most slaves.

>>97819842My friends are first and foremost fantasy /awg/ players. I'm quite happy they gave Warcry a chance despite avoid GW's games like the plague, for a good reason but that's obvious to anyone stuck in the GW's hell. The local GW crowd is good-hearted but absolutely mindless, they only follow the shiny new releases and the mere thought of playing an unsupported game/edition gives them a panic attack.
So with the Nemesis Claw's prescience token system when it says "Skip" that operative's activation does that mean you can activate them later or are you totally passing their turn for that turning point?
>>97821339My condolences. Maybe try to get them to play Mordheim if they haven't already? It's surprisingly quite mechanically similar to KT18 except with an actually good campaign system.
Is the monster thing a one and done occurrence, or they are going to do more?I need great knarloc models...Also it's a good way to slow down the release of teams.
>>97826310It would help if you read the full ploy, really. "you can skipyour activations (in other words, you can delay that friendlyMURDERWING operative’s activation until your opponent hasonly one ready operative"they really explain it in the () that you can activate him later on. But it basically gets rid of one of you counteract actions.>>97826752>hate gw or only play the new and shiny thing>play mordheimdoes not add up, really.>>97827461Sounds more like a one and done thing for me, but that they have to slow down the release of teams means they are out of proper ideas for teams it seems so sounds like the game is really in a bind here.
I always hear about the stir this caused, and recently about how bad or redeemable it is. I'm not certain about it myself because I dabbled with 3e and then got into 5e, never paid much attention to the scene during that entire era. What does /tg/ think of the system?
>>97826882The reality is no one who enjoys 4e will call it D&D. It's a constant complaint that tying it in with the D&D brand did more damage to it than aided it. It has its strengths, it has its weaknesses. One can either take it as it or leave it.>>97826889Such as?
>>97824276They're not. They're expanded on in the Rules Compendium, a few Dragon Magazine articles, and the Dark Sun material.
>>97826997nta The Rules Compendium came out in late 2010. Dark Sun campaign book came out in mid to late 2010, if that's even the book it's in. 4e came out in mid 2008. I found half a column in the 4e DMG, that was it. There were a couple f skills or something in the PHB that were good for wilderness.Having to wait more than two years for a book to be published, or regularly read a magazine in the hopes of stumbling across an article or two, or having to buy a setting book that also came out more than 2 years later, for something that was a core D&D feature is a dumb way of doing things. There's very little obvious wilderness rules material in the Dark Sun campaign book. There are two pages about travel and survival. Is there more?
>>97826997The word wilderness is mentioned 45 times in the guide book, disorganized as fuck, and it asks you to think about outdoor travel is as an extended skill challenge using a few paragraph example on page 79. Fuck off you know nothing retard. 3e has a huge chapter on wilderness. 5e has a chapter and multiple supplements to boot. This image is practically the extent of 4e considerations for it. You got retards like you and the anon above wondering how wilderness is even important, you're fucked.
