If that's your concern, just use a tracker or some overlay to rate cards. But also you don't need to do that, as long as you know the set mechanics you'll be able to estimate the strength of most commons and uncommons. A lot of cards across sets follow similar archetypes. A frequent example is the 4 mana green 4/4 with upside. We get one basically every set, and while the strength varies they're rarely awful. The ones that are bad are fairly obvious, like cautious survivor which is practically vanilla. You don't need to pick up a perfectly crafted deck to win games, especially at the start when nobody else is either. Just take the generically good cards and 9/10 sets you'll do fine. Once you get some experience with the set you can start worrying more about synergy.

Kingdom Death is a tabletop miniature brand stared by Adam Poots and operated by himself and his Team that later spun off into a miniature based bored game funded by two very successful Kickstarter campaigns.

Monster is a Nightmare Horror cooperative boss battler/miniature hobby game for 1-4 players about hope in a strange world of bizarre monstrosities and perpetually darkness. Obviously in a general context yes, but I feel it's a bit disingenuous to state that here without the qualifier that pretty much any currently practical alternative is going to have more drawbacks, and be more fragile, than plastic for miniatures, especially high detail ones.

I don't particularly see the idea that Custodes could be female as a problem, even if there weren't any prominent female characters among them before. The way that they're made is entirely different than Astartes, so logic could follow that the limitations and restrictions are different too.

Tabletop RPGs tend to split up crafting into a high number of crafting subskills for every individual area of expertise. There's no question that crafting is still extremely powerful despite forcing you to go through this hassle, but what are your thoughts on which particular crafting subskills tend to be the most useful in the context of a TTRPG campaign, be it a medieval or modern or sci-fi setting?

Both have value, depends on your set up.
If the grind is the only unit that will fight, 6 wide. Since that has 1 buffer, then 6 buffer on next RB instead of 3 buffer, 5 buffer on next RB for the 5 wide.
The bigger benefit for the 5 wide though is it gives you more room for flank attacks against what your grinding out since your frontage is smaller.

Yeah.
There are some other considerations at the margins. For example if the unit is 26 or more models, you need to be 6 wide, 37 or more models 7 wide. You'd be in March formation again due to shape otherwise.
Also which units your using. Gors should essentially always be 7 wide (other than pure maneuverability) because they have no armor (5+ with shield is the same as no save, don't kid yourself).

So I bought this as I really like Conan 2d20 System and I was surprised that system appears to be very rules lite compared to Conan 2d20 or WHFR 4E and a lot of rules and stuff appears to be on GM to flesh out. Usually i pay for RPG books because i don't want to figure out how much damage or to hit modifier some fancy sword has but in Dune core rulebook, its precisely that, book demands that i figure it out instead of giving me stat blocks.

So my DND group was kind of disolving, 2 out of the 4 players left because of life issues (one got a job abroad and the other one is dealing with life), to keep playing we incorporated 2 new players with not so much experience but avid watchers of Critical Role.

One of these player conditions was that we incorporate x cards to the game, she says that it makes it much more comfortable for her to know she can avoid unpleasant story elements having this tool.

I started to read a bit about it online and is this something you guys have used? In my 20 years playing I've never used this.

ss14 is gay and lame for variety of reasons. The most obvious one is that they don't have tile-based movement, so they can fuck right off. /vg/station fork tried to implemented it, and it kinda worked, but it was gay and lame (like ss14 code itself).

Now. /vg/station13 is the only real ss13 server left, really. Real, as in with old-school code and full of oldfags still playing. It is the one I am playing right now, the only one.
Ignore the bullshit in the generals on /vg/ or /vm/ or whatever the fuck. They've been taken over by shitposting schizos.
It's not the biggest one, population-wise, but we get 20+ players every night. Now, the problem is that it's US evening/night time. European hours are dead as fuck. Which sucks. If you want to try and fix it, I would be happy to hop on with you.

/tg/, the board, had its own server at one point. It was the d20station. When I made a ss13 thread here last year, a guy who was involved with the project said he wants to resurrect d20 and host something. Unfortunately the thread I made got buried pretty quickly and nothing came out of it.
I would happily play some games on d20.2, especially if it was more European timezone oriented server.

But yeah. I started playing this stupid game in 2012. On /vg/station13. Then moved to /tg/station13 and played extensively there. Until the things I disliked reached the breaking point for me.
Now I'm back on /vg/station and I'm not going anywhere. Join. Play. If you want the OG ss13 experience. You can RP on it as well, just don't treat it as Baystation roleplaying, where you write paragraphs of emotes. You can play a character, there are many of those around.

What are you talking about? You don't need to deal damage to end an encounter. If you're fighting a single shambling mound or whatever, and you cast force cage on it, you win. You can just leave. You don't have to kill things and there's very little incentive to do so. Most of the decently high value density treasure isn't found on monsters, and random magic items are just vendor trash, so it doesn't matter if you miss a few. Everything you use will be crafted from gold you get from selling ultra-valuable gems and other similar items.

This is why most higher level creatures have some manner of dimensional travel.
Even still, saying that the optimal way to play the game is to render obsolete large parts of it's core system and assumption doesn't reflect well on the game in play.

You're not rendering it obsolete. Defeating a monster with a sword doesn't make magic obsolete, and defeating a monster with magic doesn't make swords obsolete. They're just different ways of interacting with the world. There is no correct way to approach any challenge.
