Oddly serendipitous turn in the thread.I want to make a nagaraja npc to scare the shit out of my players who refuse to lean into combat powers & mostly go around Dominating/Presence etc. in social situations & during combat they just dogpile & scrape through. They think that theyre able to go toe to toe with combat monsters because "its just a few extra dice". So my plan is the Nagaraja. Who will challenge them in influence by using necromancy paths, but will also be a combat beast in his own right. Hes gonna have Typhonic Maw & a few dots of Celerity too. Is there anything else I can stack on to this so that he can grab them & drain their entire bloodpool in one go?
>>97215133Path of Conjuring & MAYBE a few dots in Science

How much time has to pass having a wip and anchoring it to be cope?
>>97214517If I don't see anything in three months I'll stop anchoring. That said when I did that and someone posted my WIP in January the artist came back and restarted. (Then unfortunately disappeared again)4-5 threads of no movement would probably be a good cut off
>>97201840Requesting a cute big headed robot mascot for a korean cyberpunk theme park.He has both a cute mode for interacting with the kids, and a 'combat mode' where guns pop out of his arms and head to deal with when cyberpsychos try attacking guests. He's a giant big headed Korean noble with a Gat hat, and a slightly creepy smile.Inspired by mentions in the original cyberpunk 2020 lore that theme park employees had combat cyberware to protect guests from cyberpsychos.
>>97201840Requesting a long-term project of my mage the ascension character, the 'P.E.E.R.L.E.S.S' armor. It's heavily inspired by the ARS suit from vanquish and uses pretty much every magic sphere except for spirit. The armor itself is inspired by the armor of an arthurian knight who stepped through time the day he was awakened, and the sword is influenced by swordsmanship instructor, a samurai he met while falling through dimensions. The scanner is his own invention and his primary tool for interacting with his magical paradigm.
>>97201840Requesting Anja, a priestess of Sif the Viking goddess of harvest and fertility. She's a warrior priestess, so she's equally capable of tending to others while handling herself in a fight.

I feel like this edition has alot of objectively bad things about it and is absolutely where the alot of worst qualities of current editions showed up. But I feel like I prefer playing this edition compared to a lot of previous editions and 10th edition. Its a weird transitional period where there's still a lot of the old units that haven't been legended yet while still having the fucking Primaris lot. Its strange but I don't feel like I'm missing out on much staying on this edition and playing with friends casually instead of going back to playing the current edition.
>>97213029Any chance you have this written down somewhere?
>>97186108I like that primaris marines came out of it.
>>97212864Pretty much opinion exactly. It was pretty funny though how fast the excitement over 8th (oh thank god, 7th is dead at last!) turned to disappointment as it rapidly turned into its own form of debacle.
I remembering 1000pts of Eldar tabling 3000 pts of nids. I remember Eldar tabling Orks turn 1, fellow took out 100s of models, and didn't play a single one. We had a statewide tourney and the top 25 were all Eldar.
>>97213029Seconding a request for that
Tolkien is to blame for the state of 5e and generic fantasy that you see in TTRPGs. We wouldn't have horrible big fat fantasy books, nor power fantasy / wish fulfilment, which you find in scaling levels through so-called "XP". Fantasy used to be an experimental, creative, and wild genre filled with mad imagination; now, it is all wooden and samey. >tl;drListen to this:https://voca.ro/1Rwc7lMX0hfT

Would the Al Zutt be a good basis for a fantasy raceIn arab literature they were described as very tall, lean, strong, hardy man with very dark skin normally used for hard work and also know for their virility and sexual nature
>>97209594Fuck you.
>>97209594Generally, no. Basing fantasy races on real races or cultures was fine back in the 90s. But it is frowned upon nowadays.
>>97209594Do they run trains on the clerics?
>>97209594>still trying so very very hard to force ‘zutt’ into a memeGet fucking help or kill yourself

Moloch's Fun Park Edition>What is Trench Crusade? An alternate weird history 28mm/32mm tabletop skirmish game still in a pre-release playtesting phase but with the full release slated for this year. Based on the art and lore of Mike Franchina, whose illustrations you may have seen floating around on /tg/ for a several years now, and designed by Tuomas Pirinen, one of the original creators of Mordheim. It's grimdark, it's visceral, it's awesome, and it's very Blanchitsu.>What Trench Crusade is notTC not an excuse for you to discuss IRL religion, history that didn't occur in the game, culture war shit, or discord bullshit on /tg/. Keep it on topic.>What's the QRD on the background? The Knights Templar turned heretic and opened the Gates of Hell when they took Jerusalem during the First Crusade. Over 800 years later the war is still ongoing as technology has developed to a pseudo diesel-punk WW1 standard and a third of Humanity has sided with the Infernal Princes.>How do I get started? All the files are free online:https://www.trenchcrusade.com/rules/Comment too long. >most retailers setting up preorders for the minis we haven’t even seen yetBuying a mini; a purely visual item, without even knowing what it looks like is peak paypig
>>97208803>I figure the christian/muslim communities would just blame the jewish population and force them into hiding.Nothing in the setting really implies that, especially since it is known that the Templars were responsible for the Hellgate opening. The lore already gave hints that there are hidden fortresses they hold.
>>97194127Cheers for the great advice anon. Actually managed to find more than enough mini options for Stigmatic nuns.>>97212599In fairness, E-tool melee action is a well beloved trope, though it might risk game balance.
By chance does anybody know of some other wargames where Trench Crusade models can be easily adapted to? That uses vehicles as well?I like the aesthetics and some of the TC fluff. I just want the scale of the wargames to be larger rather than small scale skirmishes.I plan on using WGA's The Damned for heretics.

NGL some of the stuff in this thread and a recent work meeting has me thinking you could have finance bros be the demons offering funding/dark pacts for power. In exchange for 10% of your soul you get 1,000 gold
>>97211518generals are the only thing keeping this board frmo becoming a flood of every single 40k, MTG, and D&D people can think of. the way it is now, it still leaks but is mostly contained. without generals this place would be nothing but nonstop slop with no way to discuss niche topics or games.
>>97214930you could "solve" this "problem" by creating /tgg/obviously this isn't going to happen because that would be retarded and it wouldn't help in any way

>>97171614One of the most prominent ones is the Silver Hand. Started as a "revange plot" against the ruling noble family of the biggest kingdom in the world, with a desire to kill the major members and their supporters. Over time, its members have found some shady shit that is connected to stuff like godhood and also the nature of other world and demons. Nowadays, it has several different 'sects' that have various goals and try to work together, somewhat. They are also very prominent in alchemical and technological fields. One of their most infamous sub-organizations are alchemically-infused elite murderhobos that have little to no restraint. Other than that, their main power is them having a lot of money and influence.Named after a punishment performed against thieves and bandits.
