It was pretty cold yesterday; I sprayed some paints outside, left the model outside until it dries & the smell fades away. Couple hours later, I found the paint being cloudy? milky? on the model. Luke just came in as a complete rookie who had no clue and went with what felt right, Han ultimately just wanted to GTFO and get the reward money (long shot, but if Jabba wants you dead anyway why not risk it all?)
And they were just allowed to leave so that the Empire could find the Yavin base, so the whole 'recue' was allowed to play out with Tarkin ordering in a few stormies so thatit would not feel to easy.

If you want to see Leia being competent, she shows that on Hoth. Or when she strangles Jabba. Or when she calmly loads the Death Star plans into a droid while her ship is actively being boarded.

It was a complete shitshow, neither Luke nor Han had thought to plan out any kind of plan of egress from the prison levels and were… basically stuck in a corner with an ever-increasing number of angry stormtroopers showing up to make the rescuers position even worse. Frankly dropping into an oversized dumpster with some thing lurking inside was actually still a significant improvement, though I will concede that this is more a testimony to just how shit the rescue was going up to that point, but still.

And as another anon pointed out, one should remember to not be too harsh on Luke, it was his first day after all.

It kinda annoys me how the anime just... ignores the energy generator completely most of the time. There were a couple of scenes in the first few episodes and occasionally someone decides to actually mention that they set the generator, but I feel like I'd enjoy the concept more if Divinez gave more focus to it. If charging the generator had some kind of flashy visual or something to make it feel cool.

Probably some idea that they had good reason to use, but then all those benefits were overwritten by other things as the game developed. We already know that the idea wasn't "we measure in shapes" but "we measure in colours", but then the shapes were added last minute to help with colourblindness and that's how they ended up with the pentagon representing 6" and triangle representing 1" and then people started thinking more in terms of the shapes than the colours.
Probably also something that sounded good in theory, but was less so in practice.

If it's a mind-melting or reality-bending shit the likes of 40k, you'd instead be chased out of the village with torches and pitchforks.
Further, even if it is relatively safe, it'd still depend on the public perception of mages and magic as a whole.

The reason /tg/ isn't creative any more and 4chan as a whole fucking sucks even compared to 10 years ago is because being anonymous means nothing any more because the internet is not longer just for fat nerds to bitch about their interests.
