I try to have some range! Indeed.
>>
>>97388830
Boys can't be best girls. Especially boys that want you to suck their cock.
>>
>>97391821
Well, your range is quiet impressive. To go from large standard to smaller chibi body style and do both well requires a good amount of skill. I assume you have been doing the artwork for this project for a while now. What drew you do it? Do you have a thing for character design and outfits?

Are there other fandoms you draw art for? Do you have an art gallery anywhere besides whats in the boorus?
>>
>>97392296
Eversor has been keeping this fandom afloat almost singlehandedly

He has been the main artist for the fan V3 gens and now the fan V4 gens
>>
>>97392345
That's a lot of weight on his shoulders. Does he keep creating new princess'? Or does he get ideas/concepts from others, and he draws them?
What makes a V change over to the next number, once you reach a certain amount of characters? I suppose the original artists behind the project left due to reasons?

>gameplay
For Centaurs, you should be able to use them as mounts when not in combat if they're lightly armed & armored. I think you could ride into battle with them and fight on their back without overburdening them, depending on your loadout. Squeezing into dungeons and caves might be a bit of a bitch, and your centaur companion may find themselves too cumbersome to accompany you in certain locations. If people in wheelchairs can make do, I'm sure a transmog potion or a shrinking potion might solve the problem.
>fantasy settings
They're more at home here for sure, like having a horse. Some taverns may give you a hard "no" for your centaur companion, but I'm sure regions that are steeped in centaur culture or adjacent ones have accommodations for their unique anatomy. If nothing else, they could help carry your camp supplies and other provisions.
>loadouts for fantasy
If you're not riding them, I think they can be pretty well armed and armored- think tower shield and a mace/flail. They also make good spearmen, so I think they'd be comfortable wielding a halbard and similar pike-style weapons. This would be with them wearing plate mail cuirass for the human portion and chainmail curtain over their horse hind quarters, or perhaps some specially fitted Gambeson. Other plate sections could be fitted to their horse body as needed. Archery and crossbows seem like they'd work for ranged options. I've not considered them using magic, but having a fairly mobile spellcaster seems cool as well.

I love Shining Force. We need a a game to bring it back like Awakening did for Fire Emblem. A sort of Shining Force: Awakening. With all the dating sim elements
>>
>>97371767
That'd be nice. There was a mobile game in the works that looked like it'd be Sega's version of Fire Emblem Heroes. Sadly, that got scrapped.

There was the Phantasy Star TTG that Skydawn put together, as I'd mentioned before >>97289191
, but from what I've heard, it kinda shit the bed. I'd like to get my hands on a copy of the pdf so I can judge for myself, but all the online reviews were a mixture of "not that great" to "it's good...if you're a hardcore Phantasy Star enjoyer and must own everything PS related". I'd like something like that for Shining Force, but maybe handled by a better publisher.

I'd be fine with either a D&D-style game with Shining Force window dressing or a wargame that focused on individual units and played more like the original Shining Force titles, with maybe a hex board or something like that, where battles could be streamlined, and the story would be secondary to quicker action.

You can search for 3-D print models. Centaurs are a little goofy anatomy wise so I wouldn't expect to find them in a regular store that pumps out mass-marketed stuff.

> No one can pay the loans back,
The federal govt. can and will pay.
Its a shell game that I wont try to unravel, but some things are known. The banks control the govt., the govt. will bail out the banks. Loans will not default unless part of a bigger scam.
>>
>>97391723
You're looking a little too far ahead into the conversation.

It's not unbelievable that the government will perform bailouts, but it wouldn't be as quiet as when the banks had to be bailed out last time (and that wasn't quiet at all). It probably fixes the numbers, but there's already so much tension right now over the economy that it would have some pretty serious consequences if it went that way.

Honestly, I would just prefer that these good-for-nothings sit in the holes they dug for themselves.

I guess bluntly grew up on 4chan and don't know how to socially interact with people besides raging. There's no pushback with these people because they just crash out and that's the end of that, so you have to sift through the grime to find people you can actually talk to.

Kakophoni, Kakophoni, oh Kakophoni... Why did you have to make the gift a surprise, honey? If you wanted to give us that vial, you could have just given it us. You remind me of a younger Boy Toy, always well-meaning, but kind of awkward sometimes.

Please don't take it personally, you had the best intentions and I would never dislike you for this. See, Scarlet loved your present! It's just that me and my other childer weren't in the best mood for surprises.

The Malk curse takes many forms. Sadly most of them make the lives of their bearers difficult.
In some cases cringeworthy.

>Can I say Vegas is a cool place yet? Looks like the best playground for adults ever built.
It has its novelty. Especially if you are able to bounce between class and trash. But I fear the novelty would grow stale fast in the wrong places. That orb in particular, that thing is HIDEOUS and I hope someone burns it to the ground.

Ok I borrowed some of Cope's time again and we saw the video together. Here is a selection of her thoughts and her chat's:
"It's like, a streamer has 300 people watching them, 299 are spamming congratulations and hearts in chat, and there's this one guy that tells the streamer to go fuck themself, and the streamer goes on a rant yelling at 'some people', saying their fans are bad and hate them, etc."
"Normies only focus on the negative shit, and ignore the wisdom the voices deliver."
>Time for meds!
"Bro! That voice was reminding the patient to take his medication! From the point of view of those who made that video, is that supposed to be a bad thing?"
>Stop staring at me
"The newscaster was just trying to help, it's the rare moment of self-awareness from a television channel that wishes for naught but your constant attention."
"Normies get mad when garbage tells them it's garbage, so they want all the voices to shut up."
"First you want to kill the voices, then you act pissed when they try to fight back?"
"Way to completely miss the point. They're a resource, learn to work with them."
You know what? I think she's onto something.

When did Magic players get so delusional? The performative outrage about UB has got to be some of the most faggy outrage ive seen in this game. If you bought/played with any secret lair cards or LotR cards then you have no room to complain about the current trajectory, this is your fault.
If you are anti UB because they dont "fit" Mtgs setting, but purchased/played Neon Dynasty, Thunder Junction, Duskmourn, Aetherdrift, or Edge then you have no media literacy because they are all basicly UB sets without an IP attached.
Stop posting like UB is the death of magic, I remember when we thought Mythic rarity was going to be the end and now look at this bullshit. Its going to keep going on until people are done playing the game and move to something else, and theres not a single TCG right now that could take its place.
>inbf I proxy so I win
You are a faggot in denial, if you play the game in anyway, you are coupable in this.

You don't seem to understand what a grand adventure constitutes. The hobbits in LOTR weren't just crawling through dusty old tombs in search of loot, they were going on an epic quest across the land meeting interesting characters to destroy the One Ring.

It was for a fucking TOURNAMENT like was said in the post you replied to. Ffs, I don't have high expectations for the posters of this site and yet you always disappoint.
As a tournament module the goal was to filter hundreds of players in a relatively short time period (one session) so you could find the 0.01% person who played the best. It probably didn't need to be published but was done so at the request of people who play it at Gencon that year.

Author aside it is a well acclaimed module from early in the hobby. Though some of Jaques' other works may disturb the tourists if they ever find it.
>>
>>97374144
Everyone who answered before me is wrong.

The original reason was Gygax's group had become so powerful and munchkiny that they smugly told him nothing he could do would challenge them anymore.

"Bet."

He made the Tomb of Horrors just to fuck them over, specifically players who think they have enough power to just faceroll everything. It kills you by getting past your HP, features. If you get 8d6 damage by a boulder you can live if you have tons of HP. But if you get teleported into the sun, it's over. You need to start using your brain again.

AFTER THAT, they started using it as a tournament module to see if other players could be just as smart.

Are tripods technology or living beings? If they're going to be in the "hyperborean critters" book, I imagine they have to be alive in some way, or at the very least maybe fully wild ones. Maybe things like the Combine from Half-Life, where the tripods used by the hyperboreans are weaponized and techified organic tripods?
>>
>>97387676
To me they resemble the 1906 versions, the ones with the big eyes, so that could make sense.
Alternatively, it could be entirely mechanical but still acting wild because the first layer is a weird place.
>>
>>97387676
>Are tripods technology or living beings?
I feel like Hyperborea tends to blur that particular line quite a lot.

It is somewhat odd to realize that there are now old players who have to be caught up with rules changes. Actual factual Agarthan Grogs, of a sort.

The reality is you aren't designing a perfect system because people want different things. VtM had had wounds and penalties in the 90s and some people hated it. Blue rose integrated a wound penalty track in to d20 in 2004 or whatever but no one played blue rose.
What's ideal depends on genre and on player taste. People have been writing morenin depth injury systems for as long as there's been rpgs.

What is a good tabletop RPG that is easy to run and prep for someone who is a new gm but has experience playing in games before?

Mentzer Basic D&D
Fuck the HYTNPD&D crowd and fuck the Moldvay is better/Mentzer isn't even D&D crowd.
Mentzer has one of the best tutorials for a RPG so you can pick it up fast. It's core is nearly identical to all other forms of D&D through to 1999 and once you learn one you can pick up the others and adapt freely. You don't have to worry about that mystery stuff , especially at lower levels if you want to just dungeon crawl that's fine. You can use it for years. It expands nicely into domain play at higher levels if you want. Just be careful it anyone wants to play thief. Thieves do advance in skills a bit slowly, Mentzer himself came up with a better way years later and it would be worth looking that up. Don't even look at the Immortal rules.

Because Friend Computer said it's against the rules to read the rules. You're not doubting Friend Computer, are you, anon?

Stars/Worlds/Ashes/Cities Without Number. I think it has one of the best GM's sections for prepping and running sessions, and how to chain those sessions into a campaign.

You're onto something imo. You can think of most adventures as some kind of flowchart or directed graph of scenes. For more narrative adventures, that flowchart becomes more abstract. In a dungeon, the physical space is the narrative space, and you understand how the narrative branches or even loops back on itself (like a red herring) from the layout of the dungeon.

The dungeon makes this easy, obvious, and it's constrained setting of a location-based adventure helps give you guardrails so players don't do something totally outside the scope of your prep. If they come up with some clever idea, you didn't anticipate, they're still in the dungeon - whereas something more abstract might see them try to go into a scene that you have not prepared in the slightest and have to ad-lib, which usually means lower quality narration, a lower quality narrative, and more interruptions as you think on your feet.

This is why flow chart style prepping is really bad. If you're thinking of your prep in terms of NPCs or factions with plans and goals, you don't run into this kind of thing. I agree with the rest of your concept, though, the dungeon as a space is an easy thing to run once it's built because you can effectively firewall all your encounter spaces.
