If BT23 Rosemon is deleted with a When Attacking effect, plays itself back with Fortitude and then suspends itself, can it redirect the attack to itself or did it miss the "When one of your opponent's Digimon attacks" timing
>>97222036Any effect that refers to attacking is specifically talking about attack declaration, if a card doesn't see the attack declaration it can't use "when x attacks" effects. Rosemon wouldn't be able to redirect the attack since the newly played one wouldn't have seen attack declaration.

>>97225124Agatha is from a root meaning "good", but they're flighty and prone to dropping their riders, so I think some irony was the order of the day, there. That, or the only consideration was Appearance 5. As for the saint, apparently his name might have meant "yokel", though admittedly that doesn't really get you a whole match, either, but it's not like Erembour necessarily fits, either (old english for "the whole castle")>>97225282Yes, this.>>97225184The Solar set is an entirely different problem, and Martial Arts don't usually go through the motions of perfect defense, social defenses, soak and what have you to arrive at a point of basic functionality because they assume that you're getting that from your native Charms (or you're a scrub that doesn't have them).
>>97225410Maybe that anon was too familiar with the homebrew, the sheer number turned a given yozi into an independent splat.

>>97222407I'm waiting to see if they release the urban war gynoids as a box again instead of individually. The Hydra box also swapped out the different chunks of hydra for the little skullpiles and the mother, which is cool but I'd like the different markers for the hydra more.

Several skills and mutations from Companion got dumped along with scavved power armor and the power armor customization rules. That said most of the skills did make it. Tribals kinda got screwed, they lose the most out of the bands that didn't get outright dropped to wait for supplements, and all the beastmaster rules also got pulled (presumably for further playtesting)I've been doing a comprehensive re-read as I have the time, it's just slow going because of the kid>is it hard to port stuffThe core system is virtually unchanged. There are a few minor tweaks and new rules to account for but the old points values should be close enough to at least spitball things. It very much feels like an update that rolls in Kickstart the Wasteland and bits of Companion rather than a complete refresh. On the flip side it *definitely* isn't the omnibus edition everyone was begging for.

I think the creator was trying to make this feel vintage, like toys from the 1980s, the use of enamel paint, the relatively clean work and the lack of any attempt to create shadows suggests this might be deliberate or manufactured.[Rhetoric: easy success] trying to look like shit an succeeding isn't an accomplishment. likely some boomer.

>>97223091Well, in which case i agree with him, not that isn't feasible but kinda unrealistic to expect. They main issue in that case is that the GM-in-the-making tackling gurps will have in his hands a bigass modular system with little to no guidance on how to build a game with, conversely something like d&d is presented as-is as already full-rounded for the specific task (that one may argue to be good or not at but still). To be more precise it's an issue more specific of gurps 4e, the 3e basic set offered more guidance in designing games, including a full adventure and even a solo one.

>>97205876I have this weird idea that Fiasco could make for a good crash-course if you hacked it together with a ruleslite system. The structure itself is scene based, and the game only gets two scenes per player (you could mess with this number probably). It's GMless, so the most senior player can teach by example what a player's order of operation would look like (rotating GM might be better than GMless.)It has players taking on NPC controls when their PCs aren't present, making them get in more than one character's headspace. (you could make the players stat them as PCs as practice)In Fiasco it's a given that PCs will have better and worse endings, teach them that their characters will just lose sometimes. You'd want a simplish system with quick-and-smooth character creation. Now that it's typed out I realize I'm just advocating for high-paced troupe play and low-prep systems.

>>97222872Despite how that question appears the Tek-Hunters are limited to a total of 8 due to having a roster rule that limits a gang to only having 2 of each of the 4 kinds of Tek-Hunter. Regardless yes being able to purchase Specialists right out of the gate can be as broken as it sounds. Conceptually the idea was fine but the actual roster entry implications were poorly thought out and the result of trying to make the Secundus box contents a 'full gang'.
>>97223244>Also, I guess if a Squat has a circular stone saw as their weapon besides their gun, they make unarmed attacks + circular stone saw. So cheap power pack weapons are overpriced on anyone with more than one attack, and the expensive ones are overpriced period. It still isn't really clear about whether a PPW can be used as a normal Melee/Sidearm weapon. They are weapons as per their rules, but they have the special rule to be able to be used in addition to other weapons during close combat. This FAQ really didn't clarify any of that and just poorly conveyed that when being used as PPW for extra attacks that it is just one attack with that PPW profile. Going off the actual Power Pack trait they are still a weapon and thus eligible for normal use, but it can also be used in addition to other weapons. If this wasn't the intent then it would be 'must/only' not 'can' in regards to usage.
