I look forward the clips of Brennan doing some shit that knocks the players off their guard. Very few of them have actually played with him, and he's good at taking their shit into account and then using it to create shocking moments.

I've never watched this slop and so accept the possibility you're being serious. Do his "shocking moments" ever result in a liked character being permanently killed? No? Oh wow, le epic repercussions.
>>
>>96458890
Better question is "can it be good?"

Considering the player count and lack of initiative to back their own fucking system, I expect it to be the same made for entertainment crap it's always been with stakes as imaginary as most "B" movies like the acting gigs that are the peaks of the their careers.

The matter of the fact is that red flags don't matter. It's red flags all the way down. You just need the strength as a GM to kick out problem makers, or if you are a player to call out problem makers and to just walk away if nobody wants to kick them out.
>>

Nta, but I am a little bit gay yes.
>>
My friend has played one (1) male character out of over 50 I remember. All the rest have been female characters with vaguely similar looks (might just be his artstyle) but also very diverse things from monsters to mundane humans. He doesn't roleplay them with voices or anything, nor has he (except once) had his female characters do anything sexual. IRL he is asexual, aromantic, etc. I don't know if I should expect him to come out as trans in a few years. Tbh it's not even really my business but it does make me wonder. I can understand playing a female character once in a while, for me it's a big no-no as a PC, as an NPC certainly, and I do admit enjoying it. It is nice, on 2 steps of removal (both "it isn't me" and "it isn't even supposed to be a proxy of me") to play a female character. It's nice to include cute girls in your setting, as well as just normal women who would be part of the setting and any DM would include. When I used to DM for my dad it was intensely awkward to include ANY female NPCs and I only did so once. Now that I am older, in my early 30s instead of mid teens, that awkwardness is gone. But I still will not play a female PC, nor do I really feel any desire to.

>What is /awg/?
A thread to talk about minis and games which fall between the cracks, or peoples' homebrew wargames.
The >>>/tg/hwg thread doesn't entertain fantasy (for good reason) and the other threads are locked to more specific games.
This thread isn't tied to a game, a publisher, or a genre, let's just talk about fun wargames. Any scale, any company, any miniatures.

>Examples of games that qualify.
A Song of Ice and Fire, Argatoria, Batman Miniature Game, Carnevale, Conquest: The Last Argument of Kings,
Deadzone, Dropfleet and Dropzone Commander, Freebooter's Fate, Frostgrave, Gaslands, Judge Dredd, HeroClix,
Kings of War, Maelstrom's Edge, Malifaux, Marvel Crisis Protocol, Masters of the Universe: Battleground, Moonstone,
Oathmark, OnePageRules, RelicBlade, Rumbleslam, Stargrave, Sludge, Urban War, Void, Warcaster, Warmachine, Xenotactics...
...and anything else that doesn't necessarily have a dedicated thread.

Admittedly I never got into Quar or knew anything about it but this entire time I thought This Quars War was based on some old English comic and its actually just the brainchild of some Oakland dude whose been daydreaming about the Quar universe and adding to it since he was 11 and designed by a guy whose never touched a WW1 historical wargame or cares much at all about WW1 history.

anyways I played Quar this weekend. Good game but the mechanic where no one can really die until the player fails a medic check (rolls 1-2) made the game kind of a real slog

That's Lookshy's version. The Realm's version is the Immaculate Order.

>>96461664
The only one, because it wields the Realm's power against every other form of veneration of spirits. Also, it holds that the Scarlet Empress is a luminary that upholds civilization with the blessing of the Dragons. Part of the deal that she made with the Sidereals was that if she helped them carry out the Bronze agenda, they would directly support her reign with religion. Kind of a no-brainer for the both of them.

The Scarlet Empress is also said to enjoy a great deal of secular veneration... in the text of the Cult background. So she absolutely has or had an actual Cult as an objective fact of her Background.

.pdfs were great for /tg/, but I have a sneaking suspicion a few bad actors were using them to spread CP. Like they always do to ruin uploads around here. I remember old sound threads on /a/ and /co/ where .ogm sound files could be embedded into .jpgs and with the right extension, be shared and played over 4chan. But cunts were using the same sort of technology to embed .rars of CP in images (sink threads on /b/) so moot (remember that faggot?) had to ban all embedded files, period.
>>
>>96461737
I always loathe the smudginess of GPT's gens. In addition to its lack of style and disregard for pleasing aesthetics. Bing, for all its faults, at least tries to make its subjects attractive (unless told otherwise) and give you much more minute details.

Requesting a better reference drawing for my poitou (very fluffy/shaggy) donkey """knight""".

She has no idea what a knight, or a crusader, or a Europe is, as all such things belong to a prehistoric age, but data and the dissemination thereof is a fundamental aspect of the world, always cropping back up in some shape or form. Presently, her relatively isolated village is being hit hard with visions of knight films, and it has become her personal reason for being. So, she grabs whatever trash and brush she can find, pretends it's weapons and armor, and acts like a chivalrous Ye Olde English-speaking spaz all the day long with no particular goal.

You can give her more chainlink mail/miscellaneous trash armor if you want. Her home's like a forest landlocked by an industrial zone.

This is Dea; the brown tomboy gal and her high elf husband Estromo. Can I please have a picture of them preparing for their upcoming child/children? If 2nd or 4th are THAT much better than I’ll have to reconsider my plans for army comps since I’ve been basing this off of 3rd’s army lists. Here’s a picture of all the space marine stuff I received btw. That’s 3 companies of marines with command and as many rhinos as needed, and 40 terminators with not enough land raiders to carry them

>>
>>96460847
We know very little about the box overall. If you're just starting out, the Combat Patrol and/or the KT teams are a good starting point. As a new player, you don't really want or need the terrain as most places you will be playing at will already have terrain and the DW team is not a necron team. It will take a bit for the new stuff to get ported to the codex if you are interested in more than just Kill Team.

Star Wars seriously misses some grim and gritty war vibe. No matter how retarded shit like Dark Empire was, imaging the sheer butchery and carnage that Legends gave us was as kino as it gets. We need more giant fucking battles and a focus on warfare and military.

>You'd still need to answer the question of whether or not the BFF-1 containers are detachable from the drive section. It seems like they should be, but I think X-Wing implied otherwise.
X-wing didn't say anything about it, but the ship is seen with four Type A containers every time it appears. i'd say there is an airlock to climb into the containers for exactly the reasons you mention.
>I was always unclear about whether the BFF-1 was a properly engineered ship or something a second-tier manufacturer built from recycled parts that ended up being a big success despite that.
I decided that this freighter was more like the IRL 'class' of Panamax ships. Built by various shipyards across the galaxy, with varioous reactors, engines, etc., but to a standardized set oof docking ports and dimennsions.
If you get one of those, you will be able to carry 4 containers around, fit into berths of a known size etc.
But you may have wildy different types of reactors, thrusters, navcomps, cockpit layout, etc.

I came up with this because my group wanted to fly in on something inconspicuous to blend in, but ended up on the 'oh no the city is full lof riots and fire' end of the inconspicuously blending in spectrum on the way out.
So they ran up the ramp of 'their' freighter, only to find out that the HowalWorks ship they had flown in on was very different from the Dawon Heavy Industries one they were to leave with.

Itt we help each other find a system that fits given setting.

I'm looking for something fitting Blue Archive lore. Expectation:
>combat-focused
>handles gunfights well
>has cover system
>hitzones unwelcome
>crits should do extra damage, but no additional effects
>can handle vehicles, combat robots, artillery
>can handle big bosses
>allows for some gun autism
>no magic
One guy suggestes using Cyberpunk 2020, but I think it's a bad idea.

OP here
55 bucks for basic GURPS pdfs is absolutely insane. I know I could pirate, but, y'know, wanna play fair.

What supers system would be best for a Reckoners game? Especially with the weaknesses.

Fair. I pirate so much shit, and assume that everyone just follows the same "try before you buy" mindset (it's just good business practice), that I rarely consider the cost.

It's not mandatory, a lot of painters want to lean into the grimdark aspect and OSL lends well to that. There have been some really good entries to the contests with relatively flat lighting. You will definitely want to get good at glazing though.

>>>96383179 Shit like this leads me to believe this is 100% a gooner game.
thats a homebrew that some sick anon made is not in the actual game nor is anything similar in it, I won't denied that the game has gooner stuff but is not "100% a gonner game" more like 40% a gooner game.

Remember that most models will be about 3-4feet away from the viewer most times and no one will see the real intricacies. For models I paint for table top games, ill speed paint them up and get to playing. Models I paint for display will get the full treatment and possibly NNM.
