>>97201188While I dislike a lot of it, I do find it mildly amusing that "INFINITE DEMONS OF MYSELF, NO OTHER CHARMS" looks to be a viable build for 3e Infernals
Not really about Infernals, but can I just say that I really hate it when 3e gives nonsensical resistance rolls to defeat supernatural effects?I'm going to point at Supernal Awareness for this. You're observing the webs of fate around you, automatically detecting everybody participating in a particular activity of your choice... unless they are concealing the activity or their involvement in it? How in the actual fuck are they concealing their fate? Don't say 'oh but Secrets are all about hiding things and the comingling of fate and reality means hiding things in reality also hides them from fate' or similar ass excuses when this is an Endings charm. Like what does this even mean? You can automatically detect anybody performing the activity unless they're concealed from you... such as, I don't know, being behind a wall? Does the charm actually do nothing except let you recognize when people are doing something within plain sight? Seems silly to me.
>>97201284It sounds pretty straight-forward to me. You pick an activity, like farming. You automatically detect everyone who is farming within range except the people who are trying to hide the fact they are farming, like someone with a secret garden of illegal narcotic flowers.
>>97201366>except the people who are trying to hide the fact they are farming, like someone with a secret garden of illegal narcotic flowers.Okay, now why aren't you detecting them? Them wanting the secret garden to be secret doesn't actually do anything to interact with the webs of fate that you're looking at, after all. Them building a wall around their garden to hide it from people, or killing everyone in the village to keep the secret for that matter, why does that interfere with your ability to read the patterns of fate? It can't, like, make a hole in the web, or you'd just see a hole in the web and bish bosh you've found the activity you were looking for. And in the latter example above, what are you even rolling Perception + Awareness against? Melee, if that's what they used to kill all the villagers? I understand the mechanics just fine, outside edge cases. I'm saying that I hate that they're nonsense.
>>97201397Because they're hiding the garden and that interferes with fate. They don't need to use magic to interfere with fate; the fact they're trying to hide it is sufficient. It's a Sidereal charm, it's supposed to be a bit weird and sideways. As for what they'd roll to hide it, probably Attribute + Larceny, since that's generally the Ability used for criminal activities.
Hrm. How would fa/tg/uys handle a PC that the player wants to play as a former war criminal? So according to my player his character did a lot of heinous shit during the war that ended about 10 years ago, but is now haunted by these terrible memories. The player is asking me for game mechanics to apply to this and I'm a little stumped. Some advice from you guys would be most welcome. On my own bat I figured since this is a fantasy world getting actually attacked by the ghosts of his victims would be appropriate, but I do I really want to give him the opportunity to kill them twice?

>>97200416>PillagingActually the biggest wealth transfer during the raj was from the maharajahs to the ordinary people, who were suddenly getting paid a wage for what they do. Lets repeat that another way because you seem fairly stupid, even for a brown, leftists or (yuck) a brown leftist. Before the raj the labour of peasants was almost entirely forced with no remuneration. Caste obligations, bonding, corvee and sharecropping. The raj forced princes to pay people for their labour, resulting in a massive amount of indian peasants actually having disposable income. Furthermore the raj, the company armies etc. paid not just a wage but a good one and generally didn't care who they paid it to as long as the work was good and on time.Seething about the british not respecting caste is one of the biggest themes you'll get when reading historical accounts from indians. It's not just railroads, the british monetized taxation, built canals, expanded irrigation and provided a gigantic market for indian peasants to sell into, bringing massive benefit to their lives. There's a reason peasants fought for the british during the 1857 mutiny, you know. In fact more company units stayed loyal than mutinied.
>>97200416>You're the one upset about these countries playing catch-up.No, I'm annoyed about you telling blatant, ridiculous lies about why they have to play catch up. China was never colonized.

>>97201240I realize I would do the same. My build choices was because:1. I wanted the biggest amount of gifts out of seeing them like my biggest weapons and all the giants (so I spent two commanders there) because they are geuninely very useful and can make divine weapons2. Get the biggest amount of "ultimates" like reverberating harpoon, golden truth and dark smite. My build would be like Soleac, a long of weird things to modify with power word and mix between them.3. Cover the biggest amount of minion and powers that can counter other factions, like Pain countering Gods and Daughters, Harpoon countering dream gods and dragons, dark smite countering everyone, holy wings to counter holy beings, pleasure minions to counter AIs and to fight some that could fight the Tempered Heroes, mana soldiers to fight the Heroes, a build perfect to capture demiurgues to counter True Goddesses and Heroes etc...So I guess I am a weird match of Soleac-He Who Pursues as my build is very good at hunting-a waifufag-an schizo that doesn't want to face anyone without at least one counter possible

From memory, I think maybe there's a single optional Goliath armor plate with some uneven spikes? If that? Because featuring arrangements of random, asymmetrical... you might even say "chaotic"... spikes of different lengths and thicknesses is Chaos design language through-and-through.

I enjoy some danganronpa but I have no idea what you're even trying to ask about OP. I appreciate the pure autism though.
I understand that some people believe Killing Harmony isn't actually a separate universe from the previous two games. As explained within the lore, "Danganronpa 3" is actually Danganronpa 53, set many years in the future. This would mean that all the efforts of the New Future Foundation to purge the influence of Ultimate Despair from the world after the end of the Hope Arc OVA were in vain, and that in the end, it was Junko's legacy that prevailed, until Danganronpa 53, where the participants finally managed to break the cycle.
>>97200523I'm not really asking anything, I'm just making a list of things that I think would make a game of Danganronpa particularly complicated for the person who has to plan and organize it.
And since there are two cases of robot students... an alien student wouldn't be out of place, right?
Can you believe this?At first I thought "2x2" was a fancy way of saying "Danganronpa 4," but it turns out it's just a remake of the second game.

>>97200654It's pretty brutal, yeah. I'm genuinely unclear on how I'm meant to counterplay against it. Most decks seem to just not have any answers at all.
>>97200939I convinced myself back when Guilmon took over the meta that complications from the release unification probably had negative impacts on design behind the scenes, especially on playtesting. BT23 seems like it felt the worst of those issues, maybe also being compounded on by difficulties coordinating development of BT22 and 23, extra work needing to be done on the Sakuyamon precon after BT19 Sakuyamon took off, and any difficulties that arose needing to design BT24 before Time Stranger was finalized and released.
>>97201015It seems to me that while we had an increased release schedule last year Japan had a slightly slower schedule to catch us up (and obviously the combined sets as well). I assume during this time they had the same amount of people designing and testing cards and they made a lot of the future sets a lot further in advanced, you can see the release schedule this year has been quite tight and very packed.but then you look at the release schedule for next year and its slower than this years and back to a more normal pace.I have to wonder when the design of bt22 and bt23 was done, there is a very real possibility they were designed before the banlist we got earlier this year and were made for a higher power format and then not adjusted enough before release to accommodate the changes (as you mention with sakuya taking off as well). Granted the releasing timing of these sets is usually when they release the strongest sets of the year, but it feels like it all coalesced into printing a ridiculous deck.Next year and how releases go and balance is will be a big determiner to me of how the game will go forward.
>>97193910I can see it being a Promo or showing up next set, there are like 3 Dark Knights in Digimon so it would be weird to add future proofing like that if they didn't have any plans for it relatively soon. Maybe Yuuki's level 7 is a Dark Knight though.

>>97198640I mean, that's the basics. For a whole lotta people, the basics are everything they do, and they do okay at it; look at like most of Cammie middle management, Princes and such, and you'll see them center whole centuries of unlife around survival, acceptance, money, power and influence. You could settle for that.Or you could have some sort of bigger things in mind! I've no fucking clue what kind you're into, and I won't scry for it without asking, but there's as many grand reasons to persist for a thousand years as there are people, y'know?
