I can see the midna thing but Im not sure if Ritsuka would be able to. She's body focused I'm not sure how she could admittedly. Though I do want to have a scene with her and venti talking about her own cultivation and its techniques and her thoughts about being immortal now. Ventis not growing alone after all. Midna and ritsuka probably have just as many thoughts and experiences on there own development.

I think there needs to be continuity of designs to make the world feel related. In sense I argue that Republic Troopers need to look like good guy versions of Storm Troopers. This would provide visual continuity in the idea that they are the successor to the Republic in the way the Empire billed itself, as the Storm Trooper designs were descended from the Clone Trooper Designs.

I would perhaps make the default a lighter version of the armor though- to suggest that they are less militaristic than the Empire, with the ability to armor them up for bigger military confrontations. So I'd limit armor to shins, forearms, chest-plate and helmet. I'd keep the white color, but maybe with more accents or a slightly off white to again differentiate them from Storm Troopers.

For the Helmet I'd take the Alderaan helmet (which would double as a nice bout of symbolism), maybe make it a bit more compact (for ease of moving about in it), and adding a face-plate that turns it into a full helmet. The face plate I think is the area that would be the most 'new', and there'd be a lot of questions on what you'd want the 'face' of the Republic trooper to be. I think I'd go for a black visor over the eyes, since I think that's a bit more neutral than the more skull-shaped Storm Trooper Helmet.

I'd also add elements of cloth straps or 'ammo pouches' around to help make them appear a bit less mechanical than the Storm Trooper.

It's a resin print by them. I had ordered a box of failed prints that was full of random parts and pieces, and it included the parts of a couple vehicles (this being the only complete one). You can see where one wheel is kinda up off the ground (the frame's a bit warped) and the windshield frame is broken, but it's hidden by the roof. All in all, the quality for a 'failed' print is damn good.

Too bad they ship from Ukraine, which means it's gonna be a long while before I can get more stuff from them here in the US.

I'm gonna guess that you're either new or coming over from MtG. If you're looking for a Blue deck then you want Runick, which is to my knowledge the only (full) deck in the game that focuses on weaponized mill. It's a heavily control-oriented spell-based deck where all of the spells fire off at instant speed and have everything ranging from protection to removal (in one case, weaponized draws) that also exiles your opponent's deck on resolution of those effects.

People commonly run pure variants with floodgates in addition to the control elements, which is how you get Runick Stun.

Yeah it's kind of a bygone era of the game which is a shame for all the effects that only trigger at a single point in the turn.
If you really want to play LS, you can try out Edison format where they have a decent presence and keep to their original identity.

The reason self mill is so rare to see is because it's extremely strong in a game where there's a a lot of GY manipulation like revives, banish for costs, etc. Tearlament+Ishizu stuff, Lightsworn, Burning abyss, "Grass decks" (that grass looks greener) were all meta at some point all of which were based around self mill. Maybe you'll find some enjoyment in those assuming enough of it is legal today or what format you play.

Bullshit. This is the single general on /tg/ that gets the MOST janitorial and mod intervention, and there would be much LESS drama if they left us alone.

They regularly delete over a hundred posts per thread. They lurk here much of the day and often instantly delete wrongthing comments. They clearly have an agenda, for example when they instantly delete the n00b guide as soon as they see it. And they leave fishfag = 2etard = false flag fag's posts up all the time while deleting a bunch of posts that are perfectly okay.

Traitor bros I’m thinking of picking up blooded as my entrance into 3rd Ed (played loads of KT21). Any operatives that are must haves also general advice would be appreciated.

You can't take both the plasma gunner and plasma pistol on your leader. Most opt for the gunner
Flamer is not great on open boards, maybe better on ITD with lethal, but often left behind since you can only have 3 total gunners/sharpshooter
Enforcer is basically an auto-take for enabling your gunners to shoot twice in a tp
Ogryn is fun but depends in the matchup. You may want 2 troopers instead (group activation krak grenades are mean)

Blooded token/gaze of the gods management is key. Be aware of abilities like your leader that automatically grant those statuses

And you have a ploy that lets you shoot into melee and a serious sam mad bomber guy. Get close to your enemy and abuse them

Don't assume that something is the same as it was in KT21 just because it looks like it used to. Some very subtle changes have been made between editions.

Why are O&G one of the very few races where 99% of their named characters are already dead?

Takes away a bit from their substance where all their famous warlords are worm food. Nearly everyone else has their special characters alive in the present

It's baffling that the Knightly Order AoI is so incredibly shitty when 6E explored exactly the same concept but actually made it fun.

It would be so simple to produce an updated list of these and actually make an AoI that is both fun and tactical.
Also why is the KO the only AoI not to have any unique units or traits? You could just remove the 0-1 limit on Order upgrades in the GA list and the whole AoI becomes redundant.

What TTRPG system has the best combat in your opinion? What makes it shine compared to other systems out there?

GURPS, in particular GURPS melee combat. Its highly simulationist nature means that if I can think of a real life manuever, I can pretty easily replicate it using GURPS maneuvers, and combat, even between just two guys with swords, has a lot of thought and strategy behind it. The variety of manuevers also means that you can mechanically express a character through their fighting style in a way other systems struggle with. A big bruiser with a two handed axe fights in a meaningfully different way than a highly skilled knife user, and you can even portray how aggressive your character feels through things like All-Out Attacks.

Another upside of GURPS combat is the hit location/damage system. Where other systems will tell you that a dagger cannot, statistically, injure the average martial character in a mortal way with a single swing, in GURPS a dagger to the eye, vitals, or throat is always a danger, even to an experience knight or tough barbarian warrior.
