The spicier the better. I'll start to get the ball rolling:

MTG, DnD and Warhammer are actually good for the hobby. They get new people started in this hobby and they keep the trend chasers contained and away from the rest of the hobby.

Appealing to the normie masses is a necessary evil in order to keep what you love afloat. Even if it comes with the negative baggage of doing so.

Generals are good for /tg/.

To be fair, he didn't. They explicitly undermined him and disobeyed orders.
Hitler and Stalin both experienced these issues throughout the war, though Stalins issues with his own generals had nearly disappeared by '44 when the red army had thoroughly decimated the Wehrmacht and was just making its way to Berlin. What Hitler really should have been doing is executing high ranking Wehrmacht officers back in France.

>What this thread is for:
/tg/ gets shit done again and is creating a “Battle Bible” (Ala 2nd edition) for 4th edition Warhammer 40k.
>What this thread isn’t for:
Alternative ideas for what 4th edition could include, such as alternating activations, new unit ports, etc. This is a Stage 4 process and so there's plenty of time for that later on.
Don't engage edition warriors, trolls and rule revisionists. We're trying to keep it tight; mannered and objective focused.

BATTLE PLAN:
Stage 1:Finish revising and formatting the SRD.
Stage 2:Compile all GW official erratas into the SRD.
Stage 3: Condense all the codices into up to date SRD. - pending
Stage 4: Make a Hobby Enthusiast supplement for the SRD.
Stage 4: Make an Optional Rules supplement for the SRD.

Update. Scrapping my first draft. I feel that it was too wordy and not straight to the point.
Also I kept feeling as though my writing was wordy in the sense that I am desperately trying to reach an essay word count.

I could use some suggestions on how you all want the writing to be.
Such as whether you are okay with things being wordy so long as they're descriptive and helpful or just straight to the point.

Well you can get a 2++ with sisters on your character using faith points so. The double HQ is mostly due to the name of the list "フキユトフクミ" that I just notice I, misspelled it.
The PE are there because I have 6 of them I'll try to run as much of them as I can, but yeah they didn't do much beside eating shots.
I could easily just give one of the HQ a blessed weapon. Would only be S5, no bonus against vehicles, but keeps the I4 and one re roll to hit.
The third celestian squad could be replaced by a Callidus, but then on HQ must be an Inquisitor.
My main issue was the deployment as I said deploying on the short edge really dick me over, because in other games usually I lose a turn moving 12 popping smoke like you say. Maybe two tops. But here I was 3 turns inside my transport just trying to reach his lines.
Didn't help the damn witches (objectives) scatter towards his direction kind of fluffy though.

Autoloading. Slamming a round in through the magazine well regardless of magazine locks the first round into place. since it's hooked up to a basic belt loop that means the rest follow.

The part you missed is that while yes they were the liberals of their time, you are functionally identical to the puritans of their time.
The difference is that back then they didnt have the same infiltration of ideologues in their institutions (because they were still being built).

Imagine if every metal band had some blue haired catholic priest as its producer? Thats you. Your functionally identical in effect.

You are the problem, youve always been the problem, its a tale so old we saw it happen to rome. Good people, people filthy libs now hate build something, then you infest it, Claim it was always yours then shit it all up until it collapses or we take it back.

If you absolutely insist on sticking with it, just play the edition you prefer. You DON'T have to keep trying to keep up with the current meta you know, do what you like to do with like minded people.
>"waaah, new players only play the current version!"
So look for older players. It's simple, though it might need a little more effort on your part to find them.

The Mechanicus are as varied as eggheads could be. The exact way it was in the Matrix is canon for the Dark Mechanicus.

But any other version is up in the air, depending on whatever a specific Tech Priest has in his Cortex Implants. There are plenty of horror stories in canon.

It's a rumor known to the Ecclesiarchy and it makes them uncomfortable and distrustful but marines both keep it hidden and are secluded enough from Imperial life that it does not become an issue and does not spread. It is a formal heresy and anyone being caught actively spreading it would get clapped but marines don't flaunt it for all the various logical reasons, and it's worth keeping in mind that each chapter has devolved into having a pseudo-religious (or just plain religious) mystery cult of their own complete with superstitions and faith.
>>
>>96498144
some know it, particularly the sisters, most do not. most that know politely ignore it. anyone not a space marine that feels the same would be very unusual and very wise to keep it to himself.

Mechanicus afterlife beliefs are weird, but I suspect they'd see it as too close to AI were you to upload yourself and be divorced from your original body. The noosphere can be matrix-y, but is also a form of augmented reality.

Am I missing anything or do Free/Far Traders flying off a C or D starport really always have a 25% chance or so of misjumping? In Traveller Classic, that is, the 1977 rules.
> Throw 12+ for a misjump to occur, DM+5 if within 100 planetary diameters, +3 if using unrefined fuel (except military and scout ships), -1 if using refined fuel, +2 if operating beyond the required date for annual maintenance.
Meaning as I said, on a 9+ on 2d6, misjump. And then class C and D starports, offering only unrefined fuel, are like 42% of all randomly generated starports? And then 50% chance the hex they pop up in has nothing by raw.
That all sounds fucking painful, unless you somehow stick to A and B ports. I guess that explains all those low population planets.
Are there other modifiers I missed somewhere? Something like, god the gas giant presence roll that's just a random line in book 2 instead of being in book 3. The 1981 rules are so much kinder about it, damn.

Traveller thread I guess.

Well this was another unexpected find while going through the several boxes i picked up for dirst cheap at an estate sale.

The core 3 black books of Traveller.

Pretty sure these are 1st edition as says 1977. If theres more I have not seen it yet. Currently reading through. Working through chargen to see how it plays out.

So the career section really is fairly lethal on PCs. Two Scouts with not bad stats croaked on their 2nd tours. Merchant with ok stats somehow made it through a full set of tours and scored a commission each time.

Bout as far as got so far.

Any of the Adventure books or Suppliments really. I recomend as the best though 76 patrons - its 76 different mission ideas, each with six different outcomes. For suppliments, the two Library Data books if you like the idea of the 3rd Imperium setting.

Has your character ever been wanted by the law?

There should be a Super Star Destroyer/Star Dreadnought per one region of the Galaxy for the whatever Admiral works with Great Moff of the region, and optionally for other high ranked officers that earned such a ship, like how Zsinj was an Admiral that also had titular rank of Warlord of the Empire and was also a Moff.
