Do you like him? Hate him? Why? I noticed some general animosity against him on this website, but I can't imagine his content being offensive to anyone. Maybe he's "reddit" or "woke" or something, I don't know, but I listen to his deas.

He brings up unrelated politics in his own videos. Randomly recommending ContraPoints or casually mentioning he's a socialist. Anon was just calling a spade a spade, and you're a nigger faggot so I'm gonna call you a nigger faggot.
>>

He's fucking rancid. Source:

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=EHUCi6ZbVxU
>>
The one video I would really recommend from him was about designing interesting boss fights. It mostly came down to having a general idea of how long a boss will live based on how tough it is, and coming up with cool things it can do every turn that make the fight feel swingy and dramatic.
>>
I liked his videos when I first came across them. I do still think that some of them cover useful topics. But the more I watched (and especially after catching some livestreams) I began to realize he's a rather narcissistic blowhard who likes the sound of his own voice. He will ramble and pontificate on shit he has no real authority on. He held "lectures" about bands and movies he likes, but it's not like he has any special insight or knowledge about any of it. He's just talking about stuff he likes but treats it like he's granting the audience the privilege of sharing his knowledge. He also deletes/blocks even mild criticism and disagreement and brags about doing so, treating the people disagreeing with him as if they're weird and wrong for having a different opinion or viewpoint. He just wants his parasocially addicted audience to give him unending praise and never engage with anything outside of that

Also this. Using the ACTUAL power of the fallen titans is just objectively cooler than owning a Solar Exaltation that is merely a bad copy of them.

>>96835154
>Don't really understand the game plan there
I liked the 3e preview explanation that the Yozis are living some kind of vicarious power fantasy through Infernals as their vessels. But yeah, with how divorced the new 3e Infernals are and the baffling social justice warrior-like take for them I genuinely do not understand what they're getting out of it.

Unless they're changing the Yozis to be so fundamentally different all prior interpretations, even 1e, that they actually like being in Hell.
>>
>>96835154
>The only thing I can see is them hating the old system so much they don't care if the new one is better or worse, they just want the old creation to burn
I think that's what they're going for in regards to the decision of the Yozis to make the Infernal Exaltations. By taking Solar Exaltations and warping them, they've pissed on the Unconquered Sun's authority and now have 50-ish Exalts that owe them and have a grudge that needs settling.
>>
>>96835196
So... are the Yozi using their infernals to get high? Are we their new Games of Divinity? curious...
>>
>>96835216
I mean, I was ready to get myself angry about how little thought 3e seems to put into changing the setting, but it wouldn't be the worst explanation there could be.

>>96835215
>that owe them
>and have a grudge that needs settling
You'd think the Yozis would put at least as much effort as, say, the Cult of the Illuminated into at least aiming their Infernals at their ancient enemies.

I will stick to what I thought 3e infernals was which sorta that the Yozis just give power to people likely to wreck what the Chosen do and enjoy watching causing chaos and mayhem in Creation out of some sorta spite where if they can't have Creation nobody else gets to enjoy it.

Corvus Belli, the Spanish firm behind the miniature wargames Infinity and Warcrow, has recently opened a new programme to give fans who want to make Infinity or Warcrow videos, and even fan animations, unprecedented access to all the media assets they could possibly dream of - including full color 3D models of its newest miniatures. It's a markedly different strategy from industry heavyweight Games Workshop, which keeps a tight lid on information about upcoming releases, and has a standing ban against any kind of fan-made animation.

Despite the sometimes tumultuous relationship between GW and its fans, there's no shortage of content creators making painting tutorials, lore explainers, battle reports, tactics guides, and for Warhammer 40k - and Corvus Belli is hoping to promote a similar level of enthusiasm from its fandom. The Corvus Creator Nest is a new incubator programme designed to support content creators who want to cover Infinity or Warcrow, whether they're experienced players or just discovering the games for the first time, veteran video makers or only getting started.

There's practical support available, including equipment loans and tuition. For the recently released Next Wave Infinity sub-faction, CB has handed over a treasure trove of lore, game rules, art, model photographs, and most impressive of all, full color 3D scans of every miniature in the release.

"If you know how to use Blender, or Unreal, or any 3D program, Corvus Belli is sharing with you the assets to make 3D animation", says Carlos 'Bostria' Llauger, a game designer and one of the company's main spokespeople. He adds: "Games Workshop won't allow you even to dream about this in the following four decades".

In my experience it's the metal miniature range; everyone I know is so used to how easy and customizable multipart plastic minis are that they perceive metal miniatures as intimidating, and the universe/ruleset just aren't compelling enough to make people want to deal with them.

Made it herself, with significant difficulty. Her focus is mainly in casting Theurgy spells, which take at least two rounds to work so I invested in combat items. She also has a gauntlet that has wards against metal and wood weaponry, and is an expert swordsman.

The claw was made by the perdo specialist of the group though, I should mention. That member chasing the elixir has greater Alchemy so we get free item investments.

Restarted my campaign from a year back, low fantasy magindustrial punk
> started as hp hermione, became bladerunner deckard, had a dream as theatrical sailormoon
Been flying through story 2 and a half arcs so far, a session a night pretty consistently.
> fade to black is friend
only 3 lewdish scenes; girls painting the town red waking up in a full bed, comforts with a dad bod, and siblings complaining about the on-going dad bod boning.
The siblings think it's gross, protag is the same age as the older brother.
> it's really just complaining
There's also only been 3-4 ish murders, with one being very "Maybe?"
Main issue is that there's a lot drugs and manipulation.
> save the prince(not ess)
Latest arc is dad bod got captured and she has to rescue him.
Rolled up a conniving, calculating mobster lawyer as an ally

The kicker is though that most of the fun I have is just playing as the character's mechanical familiar, during interludes to palette cleanse between arcs.

Then Player 1 taps both of their Orange Energies to Energize their Avatar by 2.

After this, they Project the Blue 2-Fren "Heavenly Hotline" as an Energy (because Blue = Project as Energy), using their 2 Orange Energies as Frenning material.

They could have used any card Types as Frenning material, but those Energies were all they had.

Had they used other Manifest non-Energy cards (Structure, Entity, Meme), those card's effects would have been active (invokable) from the Energy zone (after the full turn cycle Autism cooldown). Frenning Manifest cards into Energies is a great way to hide effects in the Energy zone where they can't be removed through combat, and are expensive to remove through effects.

The downside to this is that since both those Energies are Frenned into a single card, a single Energy removal could remove both of them at once (in addition to the Fren). But Player 1 doesn't need to worry much about this because they know that Player 2 is running a mono-Violet deck, which is composed of the Fire and Air elements, and they are categorically excluded from targeting Energies via the color pie.

Player 1 doesn't have any more energy to spend, and no Manifest cards to conduct combat with, so they end their turn.

There's a system for cape games that does that, and it sucks ass because it makes only one ability matter.
>>
>>96833497
Isn't DND basically unrealistic anyway?
>>
>>96824896
You say this, yet powerscalertards basically always count creation as equal in power to destruction. I.e. "if it can create a universe, it can destroy one", but with somehow even more retarded logic like "creating a universe requires 10^bajillion terrajoules of energy so that is this character's striking force"
>>
>>96834386
It is in some ways it is. In other ways, it clearly at least tries to be realistic.
If one want to argues that the real-life laws of physics apply, then one has to apply all of the laws of physics at all times.
If one wants to argue that it's unrealistic, then real-life laws of physics can't be used as a justification for anything.

It's silly to say that real-life factors of air resistance and friction don't matter because the setting is unrealistic, but then assume that this unrealistic setting must have an identical speed of light to real life.

Again, this is why I've asked why they're not using a horse as the basis for their comparison instead of lightning. If they're so interested in applying real-life logic to a fantasy game, then there are multiple creatures in the game with real-life analogues that they could use. That would give them far more data points for their scaling.

Do you mean the semi trailer one?
If so, I did have a quick look when I was in store today and I think it may be a little on the small side. Like smaller enough that if you held a Guardsmen miniature (aka, a "regular human") next to the door, it'd probably look kinda small... but not too small that it would be glaringly obvious if you didn't go looking intensely at it.
But also, I'm pretty sure most (if not all) 40k vehicles are scaled too small anyway, so it probably wouldn't matter too much unless you're anal about it.
>>
>>96827850
That looks like a very fun table to play on. Great minis too! Did you buy the faux fur mat in green? Or did you need to dye it?
>>
>>96697753
the AI for OP's post is garbage. Use actual terrain next time
>>
>>96834714
no it was originally brown, which is probably the ideal base color for this kind of mat. I colored it by squirting green paint onto the mat and then working it into the furs with a pet fur brush. you need to repeatedly comb the paint into the fur until its almost dry to prevent the paint from clumping the fur together. its a very long process. 1 mat took 8 hours, but half of that time was trimming the furs down with a razor to the right height. If you're able to find a faux fur mat with maybe 1 inch high fur that would save you a lot of time.

Your efforts in compiling the information on [Vokaris Sector] and its eight subsectors have been further received with satisfaction, and thus you are welcomed to continue your holy assignment to collect the data about this sector in our grand Imperium of Man
A brief reminder that as data comes in via the servitors around you, you will have to compile it and make this sector whole again.
May the God Emperor continue to guide you clerk Anon.

Hello there, Anons of /tg/. If anyone is still interested in this fun project, here is the whole sector - updated with the discovered planets so far - where we can continue to create together, using the planet generator found on 1d6chan.

I assume they sell the wreckage of ships to the Mechanicus for restoration. The world cares more about the bodies than the petty machines

Using the Battlefleet Gothic generator from WD, I made a 12 system subsector. Prior to finding this thread mind you.
Was that a little too big to what modern 40K uses?

I think thats dope dude. 40k’s a big setting so seems fine to me

12 planets in a single subsector? Nah, that's reasonable. One star might have 5-8 inhabited planets around it pretty easily.

I know this is a revolutionary idea, but you can just do other models in the meantime.

>You still got the photo you sent to Mispack?
If I do, it lies somewhere in ancient backups. Definitely not somewhere easily searchable in my emails.

Collecting evidence, emailing and switching gears with different projects is still far bigger hassle than simply fixing any small issue yourself. Hell, you can turn that into a personalized detail in the finished model if you're creative and lucky.

do you think they should've launched next wave a bit OP (better then the best pano lists) then nerfed later? or was the balanced launch a good thing
